Who said bitcoin, even at $68k, is not a realistic hope for the poor? It is still a hope for most, even if it can't give much but at least 2x is on the plate for everyone. What you've mentioned is one example, but if you start digging deeper into similar issues in your own country, you might find many more strange solicitations with similar expectations because the inviter is already very confident in the memecoin they're buying and holding.
