I want to make a simple exchange/swap website like simpleswap where people can exchange crypto without any id or so.
Problem is that i dont have like 10k usd so if someon wants to exchange 10k usd in bitcoin for 10k usd in solana, it wont work.

A guy on fiverr said we could use some API and connect my website to some API on binance or something, and then the users on my website will exchange with the money on binance thru the API.

Is this possible?

First of all - no offense - but it does not sound like you know what you are doing...
Exchanging money is a sensitive topic. If it fails and the money is gone, users will be angry. Rightfully so.
So getting it right is important. Having no skin in the game, is not trust-inspiring.
That being said, what you are looking for are market makers or liquidity providers. So if you can convince some that your platform is sound, they might give it a shot.
But then again it is a chicken and egg problem. Usually network effects are self-perpetuating. Why would someone put their capital on your platform instead of on UniSwap?
And the whole exchange idea: what is the point of some "simple exchange" website if it gets routed through a CEX like Binance anyway? Just go there directly, and have more trust and customer support in the first place.

Yes, creating a website is easy, and connecting APIs is easy; securing that service is the difficult part.

It's best to hire someone to do it, and there are some open-source projects you can look at to see what they're doing: https://github.com/Polygant/OpenCEX

Liquidity and investment in promotion are the next obstacles after the exchange is established.

Yeah, why would someone use for example simpleswap instead of binance?
As i allready said, you need to verify with id on sites like binance, not everyone wants to do that.

If you don't have some programming skills, I don't think it's a good idea to have your own exchange unless you hire a trusted IT to build it for you and to handle the security. Because if you are just going to use open-source code out there without knowledge of how to protect your site from hackers, then how can you protect your funds from your exchange and your customers?
This business requires a team; it can't be run by a single person. It needs, like, IT staff, customer support, and a campaign manager to handle promotions.

If you don't have money, I don't think you can run your own exchange; it is likely you are going to use a 3rd party and become an operator but with your own site.
It is likely the same as a casino business, but becoming an operator also requires depositing to operate a casino with 3rd party services.

Yes, it is possible. I wouldn't recommend what you saw on Fiverr, because you have no guarantee that the developer will be available if you want a change after a certain time. And in the crypto industry, things change very quickly, and regular updates are almost mandatory.

There are exchanges that, in addition to their APIs, also offer ready-made solutions for resellers; maybe you can start from there. They offer the whole engine, liquidity management, and transaction processing. It is yours only to maintain the site, hosting, and promote your exchange. At least 90% of instant exchanges today work that method.

Here's an example you can start from. (This is not my guarantee of service, but they've been here on the forum for a while, so they seem legit)
