These are not long-term coins because memecoins hardly survive in the long run. I hope that you know that investing in memecoins is gambling. It will be better if you invest in bitcoin and hodli because that's a long-term investment and the price increases overtime from history. We are in the bear market and there's no guarantee that these memecoins will be able to rise again if the bear market is over.

I have an option that I can take in this bearish season to collect, namely SEI, they have a pretty good network and I think a lot of people say SEI is a beta product from Solana whose future is quite good, only right now they don't have a large community and developers are still limited, if many developers migrate to the SEI network liquidity and user activity will increase there, I'm sure it will be in the next cycle that it will be SEI's turn to have the stage, while Solana itself, if their ETF can't be released yet, will have to be ready to be replaced, and other options I think are those It's not that interesting, especially APTOS, the developers on their network are slowly leaving.

I would go for Tron (TRX), Sui Network (SUI) & Aptos (APT). In order of importance, the first one I chose was Tron (TRX). This network is frequently used, even though it's ecosystem is not large. The past has proven how well the price of this token performs. Then the second is Sui Network (SUI), I was a user of this network in the past, they have rich ecosystem even though some time ago they were often hit by hack cases in their ecosystem. Aptos (APT) is the third one, because I don't think there's anything better than this to be placed in the third position of your list, I wonder, why didn't you put Solana (SOL) in the list?

No one knows with that variety of choices that you've given. I guess that people will say that TRX is going to be the survivor of that in the long term. But, no one knows if by that time that it's still there but that's probably still there by that time. Since it's just 4 years around, I think that it's too short period of time to ask even so that there are a lot of things that can happen from that time.

How many memecoins can you see on the list? I don't know how you came abkut the conclusion but they are not memecoins, Tron has a chain of its own which I'm sure you have probably used one or twice.

Op well for me I think Tron is going to survive better but the guarantee that you will make a huge profit or a kind of profit that will be very significant is very much low in my opinion except you are willing to put an amount that you wouldn't be able to imagine on it so you can high a significant price profit.

On your list, I’d go with TRX first, it has always been one of my favorite alts — followed by SUI and then APT. Why didn’t you include SOL though? When it comes to alts worth holding for the long term, SOL is definitely one of them. Just look at its current price compared to its ATH. Imagine how much you could make if you hold and DCA until the next bull run, and how far it could go once it surpasses its ATH. SOL is always one of the top choices for long-term holders.

So long term is 5 years now? While i wouldn't pick any of those coins, what's up with your timeframe? If you really want to stick to that 5 years, then know that during that time you might have altcoin bullrun for some of those altcoins, but if you plan to wait full those 5 years to cash out, you are going to likely sell it at bottom of the next bear run.

But you do you. Personally i see 5 years as worst possible timing. Just check the chart cycles if you don't know what i am talking about.

What I see from the list of coins you provided, you don't have any coin that can be taken for long-term holding, and if you want to take my advice is that, you shouldn't consider any altcoins for long term investments unless Ethereum, BNB and a few others.
The best thing you should do is to hold Bitcoin for the long term and altcoins for just short-term speculations, the only notable coin among this list above is TRX which still has a low volume and price compared which doesn't make TRX a 100% suitable investment in this regard.

Tron (TRX) has real problems with fees, increased competition, and low USDT/TRC20 activity, so it definitely has no future.

I haven't heard of Sonic (S), Plasma (XPL), Sui (SUI), SEI (Sei), or Aptos (APT). What makes you think these tokens are special?

As per the statistic. Tron is gonna be survive in the long term. The fees generated by onchain used of Tron enough to help it to sustain for long term. Meanwhile, the rest are only relying upon the hype. Their onchain fees generated are so small.

So it makes no sense to expect them to survive in long term. I put onchain fees as the most crucial thing caused by it's reflected how big the demand for the blockchain.

Maybe Tron (TRX) because it got justin sun backing and he got billions, enough to keep the ecosystem lively.

Sonic is literally crumbling, the CTO is pushing for new project and Sonic has been on a bearish trend because the team keep making bad decision with the rebrand from Fantom to Sonic (S) and inflating the supply. The list goes on.
Moreover, nobody use SEI. SUI has been on TVL decline, Aptos is good but nobody really uses it and Plasma still got some good TVL on big defi because incentivization.

Long term? Hm, I am not sure about it. Maybe those all coins can survive for long term. If we talk about their position or the price, I don't know if they can increase higher.

But I choose TRX (as I still have some thousands and let it in my wallet), SUI (this is new coin that may be increase in the long term), and SEI (I don't have much info about this now) and also APT.

But if short or middle term, maybe all coins can maintain their position but that depends on Bitcoin moves. If Bitcoin drops more, that could affects to all coins in the price and we already seen this happens.

No one can predict with certainty which altcoins will be suitable for the long term. Each altcoin is greatly influenced by developments in its respective ecosystem. Altcoins can survive until 2030 if they remain popular and continue to be widely used. Altcoins may go bankrupt midway through their journey for various reasons. So I personally believe that we can only make predictions based on our own perspectives. I think that all of the altcoins on the list are relatively new. However Tron or TRX is an exception. Tron began to gain popularity in the market around 2017. And to this day Tron is one of the altcoins that has managed to survive. Tron's performance is also quite interesting by considering its relatively high value compared to its initial price. And perhaps this proves that Tron can survive in the long run. Meanwhile other altcoins are still relatively new or even not very interesting based on their performance value. In any case we need to do our own research to find out more. Proceed at your own risk if you are interested in investing in altcoins. I personally believe that investing in Bitcoin is currently more appealing given its declining price or even its perceived affordability for some.

If we could remember the idea that suggests we should only invest on what we can afford to lose, then we are going to realize that this is not well we should bother ourselves much about, because we can just have like a $1,000 with us and then invest all on them, each having about $200 worth of assets and we forget about it for this said period, once we can hold after we must have buy at deep, we are going to be more profitable with it at the end, it only take risk and if we can go for it we should not put much of our mind, until the app in productive.

Will not gonna choose any of those coin if we talk about long term. Since alts is risky to deal with this matter and I really think that they are only good for short term trades.

The only best coin to hold for long years for me is not other than Bitcoin, because if you notice the movement of top and other shitcoins it dumps also pumps depends on what is current condition currently happening on Bitcoin.

So with those situations happening on Bitcoin and how it tied up on the movement of the market, this tells us already that Bitcoin is only good coin to hold.

We can not be very sure about of what is likely to happen in the near of far future, altcoins have messed up in many ways it was not expected to and that's why someone can not certainly vouch for any coins or a blockchain network because things can change with the project owners and it can just make the project to crash unexpectedly, some high profile project like luna crashed, Ethereum network changed from proof of work to proof of stake. So, any decision could just be made by a project we trust so much and that can affect the project badly.

The tokens mentioned by OP are not memecoins but tokens that have real utilities and usescases in contrast to memecoins just for the fun of developers without any utility and use.

Yeah the best advice to invest now is in BTC.

However, the increase in Tron tokens is quite slow, in contrast to other tokens when in the bullish phase the increase is high while tron is only a little, if you notice.

If I have some funds to risk in altcoins, I might just go with this list because they are all great projects, at least for the few among them that I have had the privilege of knowing. SEI, Tron, and Aptos are solid and can survive the test of time  unlike some shitcoins that dies with time. What I can add to this list is SOL, ADA and probably BNB which are the only thing remaining to make a perfect altcoins portfolio. Although I still have much of my capital in Bitcoin and I don't an to change that even as the bear market continues.

Top names wins in the end. Bitcoin for example, or ETH, or BNB or SOL, even maybe TRX could win. While I do not trust ALL of these, I think aside from TRX thats not really a bad portfolio to build. If you owned 50% BTC, and 25% ETH, and 10% BNB and 10% SOL and 5% TRX, then that would not be a bad portfolio at all and you could get a lot better on the long run.

Obviously it is not really that easy to make this work because in most cases we are not going to see people be patient enough to see these rise, and since we are in the bear market they are mostly going to want more, but as long as we can make this work, I think it is not going to be a problem at all, we should be able to actually get a good result out of this portfolio, not what OP mentioned, because almost all of those are shitcoins.
