I could only trust TRX because it's old in the game and still dominating in the top 10 altcoin on various coin market Cap platforms, the rest may not survive because they haven't build strong use cases and momentum in the industry too as well.
Tron surest point of demand is the USDT trc20 which bring more simplicity and less fee in the USDT transfer market, that alone pushes the TRX blockchain to another level. I don't know about the rest you mentioned OP.
They can't stand till 2030, they may fail.
Stablecoins are the only thing that's keeping Tron alive. Other than that, it's nothing more than a "ghost town". In terms of smart contracts or dApps, of course. ETH and Solana fare better in this regard. At least, TRX is much cheaper and faster to use than the aforementioned coins (depending on how you use it). You can even send USDT to other addresses on the TRON blockchain for free via a feature called "gasless transfers". The Klever wallet gives you "gas free" addresses for true peace of mind. To say which coin will win in the long term, would be a wild guess. I've mentioned Avalanche before, but it could be any coin you can imagine. As long as there's demand for a coin, you can bet it will skyrocket in the long term. Just avoid putting all of your eggs in one basket, and there should be nothing to worry about.

Hello, What coin or token is suitable for the long term? I mean the long term 2030. What is your opinion anout the following list?
1- Tron (TRX) 2- Sonic (S) 3- Plasma (XPL) 4- Sui (SUI) 5- SEI (Sei) 6- Aptos (APT)
Any idea welcomed.
Thank you.
From my own little analysis, all the coins mentioned are not bad to invest in with the aim of long term holding, as you mentioned possibly until 2030.However, the fact is that no coin will be trusted like Bitcoin. So, if you are looking for a long term coin to invest in, I would advise you to invest in Bitcoin. But if you have invested in Bitcoin before and you just want to diversify your portfolio, then I would say you can buy small amounts of all the coins you mentioned. I will never point to any particular coin for you to invest in because no coin is trusted as much as Bitcoin. There are some that may seem worth trusting, and people trust them, but in the end it becomes another story and the project later collapses. So, with that in mind, I will not say any altcoin is worth a long-term investment. This is because sometimes the project that people focus on the most does not end up being a reliable coin.

All of them have the potential to provide profit to anyone who decides to invest in them, even though we know that there is still risk in each one, but it is always up to us how we handle it in holding it short or long-term because they all have a large community built up no matter what. And I also think that it is possible and not possible that all of them will also rally with the price of bitcoin when it kicks hard in the market, but for now, the only thing we can do with them is focus more on accumulation if those assets mentioned are our choice.

All those altcoins can't be totally trusted to do potentially good with investing in it, it could be less than two coins doing better to give profit in a long term. I can't trust altcoins mostly memecoins for a long term journey because a lot of them lacks that utility to live for years and increase value. Aside bitcoin I don't feel comfortable diverting funds into any altcoins that much, perhaps if I want to gamble with a little funds I just spread it across the top 5 altcoins, makes a bit rational than on some random altcoins.

I agree that bitcoin is far greater than any of these, but I also disagree that they are not all good for long term holding. None of these have an appeal for the long term, while they may look like they are decent, they are not big enough to matter on the long term and there are no buyers that would demand it a lot because there is no use case or main "reason" for it to grow. I think that is the biggest problem. We are at a stage where it is not going to be easy, and for that reason we have to accept that these coins are bad and bitcoin is far better option.

TRX kept postponing the development of smart contracts in its ecosystem, the few coins under Tron - Wings, ApesNFT, and the rest few has less demand but killed the blockchain expect USDT trc20. Sun kept on neglecting to building more structure and demand source point, there was a time he planned going into the space with Metaverse and NFT experts so he can integrate such into the TRX blockchain, he failed. All these brings and many things divert investors attention into demanding a blockchain token, that's how it works.

This decision depends on you because no one will be held responsible if none of these projects do well before the specified time frame you indicated which is 2030. Some of these listed projects are actually good projects, but you can’t trust altcoins anymore, most of them have lost their credibility due to price manipulation that’s why big investors only focus on Bitcoin, if they really want to invest in altcoin, then most of big investors consider long term reputable projects that have already made names, projects like ETH and so on. But I can’t advise you to go for these projects you listed unless you did your research and you are satisfied with your findings about the projects.

Based on the past data, development, use case and community If you are looking for stability, Tron and Sui are currently the best bets due to their adoption and institutional validation. Tron is currently the king of stablecoin movement. As of 2026, it dominates USDT issuance. While the Sui has pulled ahead of Aptos in terms of TVL (Total Value Locked) and institutional interest. Its "object-centric" model makes it perfect for high-speed gaming and AI agents

If it wasn't because of stablecoins, TRON would've been dead already. It's basically a "shitcoin" that often mimics ETH and rival projects. I mean, there's no innovation in TRX. With almost zero development activity regarding smart contracts, TRON would eventually turn into a "ghost town". I think Solana and BNB will take TRX's share in the stablecoins market. It should only be a matter of time before this happens. In my opinion, SUI is a much better choice than TRX. But without a proper marketing/PR strategy, it will fail to attract big investors into it. For now, all of the attention is on ETH and some of the top-ranked altcoins in market cap. Who knows? Maybe this will change in the future. I'd pay close attention to the market just in case.

This are old coins and they all had their time already. I don't know how you have your plan with your investment but look into better alternatives. Tron has been in one place for a very long time, I can't say much for it grow throughout this last bull run. Sonic used to be Fantom, they hacked of millions which were not returned because they claimed it was from a decentralize exchange but it was their bridge and they later rebranded as sonic, I will advice you not to buy. XPL was a tool for pump and dump, I don't know if it's going to go back to it's era days, it's a gamble if you are ready to gamble on it. I don't like Sei and Aptos but SUI had a good run in 2024 and 2025. There are more builders in SUI than I have seen in many of the listed coins you mentioned. You should also look at new coins that we have in the market, some of them are the way we had SUI and Aptos, they will have a great time by next bull run.

I don't think there is any tokens that is suitable for long term holding among the tokens you mentioned op, we have experienced a lot of disappointment from some tokens that started increasing from the beginning to convince investors that this tokens will be different from other tokens in terms of long term holding and later cost a lot of those that invested in that particular token, with my point of view, I think those six tokens you mentioned here are good in short term holding because it will allow you to be monitoring the market to know when to sell to make income within a short period of time.

I think if you have to buy a cryptocurrency currency that will last for long would obviously be buying bitcoin for a long time and for the future as well, most of the tokens are only good for short term investment, if I’m someone that is investing in a short term, I would obviously go for this tokens that have been listed but I will have to be very very careful with how I’m dealing with this altcoin tokens.

On that list the only one I can vouch for is Tron and because they have a very quick (instant) transactions for nearly no money at all. And even that is getting questionable considering everything else is going down in gas fees these days and not really that much expensive anymore, but I can still see it be used because when the bull run comes we are going to see BTC and ETH and BNB all have a higher transaction fee yet again, so TRX could be the only one left.
SOL is also good for that if you want to but those are just preferences at that point and you do not have to go with one or the other. All of the other coins on that list are terrible and not going to end up with a good result at all, should not be good after just a few years.

When it comes to altcoins, it’s better you don’t vouch for any coin, Tron have been in existence for some time now, it has a quick transaction, but you should know that anything can still happen to it. When it comes to altcoins, don’t vouch for any coin, all altcoins are not suppose to be completely trusted. We have seen some strong altcoins fail in the past, and some are still going to fail in the future, just that nobody knows the one which is going to fail now. And even that is getting questionable considering everything else is going down in gas fees these days and not really that much expensive anymore, but I can still see it be used because when the bull run comes we are going to see BTC and ETH and BNB all have a higher transaction fee yet again, so TRX could be the only one left.
I don’t think the Op is even talking about the coin with low gas fee or high gas fee, he is talking about the coin which you can hold for a long term, so even if coin is having a low transaction fee, that doesn’t mean it worth holding.

But now there are dozen of stablecoin and faster and cheap chain especially that EVM compatible. USDC with their CCIP already big now. and Cross chain tx become a new norm. SUI is up and down like crazy now the price is 0.9 usd less than a year ago it hits the price is hit 4 USD, I choose SUI because his on top 50 marketcap and lot of people in my community said lot of it

Long term to 2030 is tricky, honestly. Most of these might not even be around or relevant by then. From your list, SUI and APT probably have the strongest backing and ecosystem potential right now, but even that doesn’t guarantee anything. TRX has been around for a while, but growth feels limited compared to newer chains. The others are still more speculative. In the long run, I think survival matters more than hype — the ones that keep building and getting users will win. No easy picks here.

I think the problem is trying to “improve luck” — that part you can’t really control. What you can control is how you play: bankroll management, when to stop, and not chasing losses. That’s where consistency comes from. Even with strategies, in the end most casino games are still based on randomness, so luck will always be a big factor. So for me it’s more about managing risk and staying disciplined, not trying to get “luckier”.

I agree that even TRX isn't a good investment on that list. Because Justin Sun has been out for a while, and all they do is just be cheap gas fee and they provide absolutely nothing else. Good for them that they have built a blockchain that could be high on the TPS count and make every transaction cheap, but they are not like getting the volume of some of the others, not like they are getting BTC levels, let alone BTC not even ETH levels of volume, so it is not a marvel that they are cheap.

Over the long run, projects with solid network effects, actual utility and active development, would be the winners, in my opinion. Such a feature as low fees and quickness, such as those of TRON or Solana, is an excellent benefit, but not all. Security and decentralization are more important when the adoption is high during a bull run. This is why such coins as Bitcoin and Ethereum continue to prevail. Ultimately, it will be ecosystems that are highly demanded, innovative and resilient, rather than merely cheap transactions costs that will succeed in the long term.
