When I look at the statistics and Barcelona’s current form, it’s hard for me to doubt their superiority on the pitch. What especially stands out is their scoring record away from home — they average more than two goals per game. The Catalans are capable of imposing their style on almost any opponent. Atletico, on the other hand, are inconsistent. They can produce a very strong performance and completely overpower an opponent if they catch momentum, but they haven’t been able to maintain that level over a longer stretch. It’s this unpredictability that makes me question their ability to stay fully focused for the entire match.

Overall, I would back Barcelona, as they clearly look like the stronger side.

Atletico Madrid's lineup in the UCL Round 8 loss against Bodo/Glimt isn't much different from their lineup in the Round 23 loss to Real Betis at the same venue. The only difference is that Ademola Lookman will start alongside Alvarez.
