The absence of Mbappe was very obvious in the first half when they pressed the Belgian team without any goal. The France team dominated the game in the first half but Lepaul was always absent when the ball enters the box. If Kylian Mbappé were in the lineup, perhaps the situation wouldn’t be the same as in France’s last two matches—and especially for this match against Belgium. Why do I assume that? Because, in my view, Kylian Mbappé has such a huge ego that it seems as though the French squad will always depend on him. This certainly isn’t justified, but I’ve come to this conclusion because, while watching France’s matches, his ego has struck me as particularly problematic.

Turkey’s problem is that they have an excellent goalkeeper but are weak in defence; they need a more defensive minded manager than Montella to make a difference.
