Seriously Gonzalo Ramos should be starting ahead of Ronaldo in every match because that guy deserves a lot of playing time. The fans and the management of Portugal's national team should not be so obsessed with CR7's past glory days and end up costing the team to crash out early in this tournament. Ramos always delivers whenever he gets the opportunity to be on the pitch and that high pressing energy he brings is exactly what the team needs up front. Ronaldo is a legend but he needs to take a chill and start coming off the bench.

This is a serious game, all players must be fit to help the team. Playing Ronaldo in this match is a big disadvantage for Portugal, they might end up drawing the game when they already have the lead, good decision from the coach not to bring in Ronaldo.

Since Portugal won in the first meeting away from home, Ronaldo can join the starting lineup in the next game and play for good minutes, depending on how tough the game is, if it requires a young player to enter and change the game, necessary decisions will be made by the coach.

I’m surprised that Greece defeated Germany, this result is a huge blow to me considering my bet on Germany “ now it seems like Germany has a long way to go, Greece keep surprising me in this Nations League they’re obviously a team to be taken seriously when playing against them, they might just be the giant killers, anyways considering the performance of Germany at the World Cup you’ll understand that Germany has a long way to recovery.

With your number of injuries that many players have recorded in this international break played in this competition that I don't think is important, I was very concerned about Martin Odegaard, so he doesn't get injured while playing for Norway to avoid ruining our season for Arsenal. Easiest money ever. Norway is the favorite against Portugal? Hahahaha, that was a trap. It's clear that the game was tough and Norway also had chances, and if you look at the statistics, you might even think that the result is not entirely logical, but this is a typical scenario of a "reliable" team against a "new bright one."

It was a good decision by the coach to leave out Ronaldo in this game, as it proved beneficial to the team. He has to start making tough decisions like this, Ronaldo for all his greatness isn’t who he used to be and the game wouldn’t be lenient to him, he has to start taking the backseat until he finally retires.

Playing a country like Spain is like playing two countries because it is very difficult to defeat them, there was a point yesterday England was showing some strength like they were going to defeat Spain and at some point I thought so but after few substitution, the game changed totally especially the moment Pedri came in. If not for those opportunities Spain missed in the first half I believe the goals would have been more than that score yesterday and i think anytime Barcelona is playing well the nation team also do play well.

So far, I haven’t seen a team like the Spain national team they are very good and well coached.  They have been very consistent in scoring goals and winning their matches, and if they continue this way they’ll win the title. Barcelona is currently in good form and the Spain national team is made up of many players who play together at Barcelona which them a strong understanding and chemistry on the pitch.  Any team playing against the Spain national team shouldn’t underestimate them, because they have the quality, confidence and the chemistry to punish even the smallest mistake.

It was a very entertaining match; in fact, there could have been even more goals. Norway hadn't necessarily expected to secure a draw on home soil, but the balance of the game shifted again when Portugal immediately scored a second goal after Haaland had found the net. Had Norway managed to hold onto the draw for a longer period, they might have been able to score a second goal through sustained pressure. It was a good match for us, and that was the main thing.

What really surprised me was Germany losing to Greece at home. Hull City goalkeeper Tzolakis put in a magnificent performance.

Well, I didn't watch the matches but when I saw that stats and figure then realized that Portugal was bit sloppy like they were less possession of ball and even having a less shot on goal than Norway. So it's clearly indicates us that Portugal was bit sloppy like they didn't paly as out forecast. Cristiano Ronaldo was also on bench and I think this tactics did work like Gonzalo Ramos spotted winning the goal for his team.... Last goal was terrible mistakes from the Norway's goalkeeper...

Besides that if we talked about Germany vs Grees match then probably Germany was really sucks like it was their next match under Kloppe but still nothing seem better. I don't know why but honestly Kloppe need to work on it otherwise it will be an bad toes for Germany.

I was about penning down how I see you as someone who's never watched football forever until I saw that "Their new coach has a lot work to do"
My own is that, this is a new German structure and style of football, I don't expect him to win the next euros and also the next fifa world cup tournament but after that they can go on to win furthermore. He transformed both Liverpool and Dortmund to a great side and I believe he can do just the same for Germany. Even the German legend, Bastain and Man Utd  Bayern Munich legend has also said that deserve better and more.

Your comment makes it seem like Ramos scores every time he starts. You can say Ramos and joão félix did well today without trying to downplay Ronaldo's contribution to this team. I admit that Ronaldo is not as lethal as he used to be, but give some respect to his name.

You already said it.  It's the same way they were knocked out of the World Cup. As a big fan of Klopp, I was hoping he would have a strong start to his National team managerial campaign, but that draw against the Netherlands and this loss at home to Greece will definitely have a sour taste for sure.

They were fully aware of what they were doing that is what matters, this wasn't just a fluke win. That said, the old German team is a thing of the past now. Still, it was a major surprise tonight. These players faking their injuries so they can report back to their club sides immediately. I have a strong feeling that Harry Kane future was something that had to do with faking it,hopefully he wins and stays consistent. How did Portugal the underdog in this game end up winning this game? They will be on the lookout with Jorge Jesus in charge, he can end up winning the the Nations League, Euros and also the next Fifa world cup competition.  Beautiful to see Goncalo Ramos banging these goals, he deserves it. I will love to watch the next French game against Belgium, why? That Belgium side has talented and athletes who are capable of running none stop.

Regardless a 2-1 victory is pretty nice for Portugal and while I enjoy Ronaldo's banter any day any time, I feel like saying Portugal didn't want to take a risk playing Ronaldo is kinda like a stretch for me cause all jokes aside, the dude still has some gas in the tank, certainly not full tank but definitely has something and no suprise, Portugal against Norway, Haaland just had to score one in. The guy is like a goal machine and he does live up call each time he is called upon.

Right now Cristiano Ronaldo is 41 years old and still his ego is on peak and that's the reason why Portugal was so bad in last World Cup. From the last few years Cristiano Ronaldo was only emphasizing to paly on box tapper rather than playing wide forward and because of these entire team was glitching in terms of tactical vest like Cristiano Ronaldo can't press opponent defense or not even play the build up and his ego are not accepting his elder age or not even seeing others at his spot.....

Today match really show up that Portugal team can easily play without Ronaldo because Ronald was only playing a signal role which penalty box striker and Gonzalo Ramos show us that he can he can play this role much better than him along with pressing, running etc.

Ireland, after lowering their heads during Israel's national anthem, also refused to shake hands with Israeli players. In the end, Ireland beat Israel 0:3 at home.
Not only was Norway building momentum immediately after Haaland equalized, but Ørjan Nyland also made a mistake that led to Portugal's winning goal. Again, the home side lost.

The Nations league has been going on with very unpredictable results, I never expected Germany to loose against Greece at home, but it happened while I watched. It was a good decision of the Portugal coach not to start Ronaldo in this match, G. Ramos is a better option with Ronaldo's advancement in age. I think the young man should be given more priority now if Portugal would go very far in this competition. It is okay for Ronaldo to come in as a substitute if needs be. Ireland and Israel are no match, the result was anticipated.
