Jurgen Klopp might be a good manager for Liverpool in the past, but I felt he might not be the appropriate coach to lead Germany national squad, it was truly a horrible day for German fans around the world to witness their team suffering a surprise loss at the Allianz Arena. Germany does have a Fifa world ranking at 12 at the moment and the fans would surely expect them to perform much better for being such a high ranking team, Germany will have a chance to redeem themselves once again at the Allianz Arena as they will be playing against Serbia today and I hope they will be able to claim a victory against Serbia at the final whistle.
Liverpool's football club stinks like donkey piss from last year when he took over the job and he even went ahead to lose the finals, I mean the Europa League finals against Sevilla during his first season and I also thought he was never gone go far with Liverpool but have you seen all he did?! Yes you must. He won them almost every trophy in Europe at the same time managers who came after him are still benefiting from his team. I believe with what he did with Borussia Dortmund and Liverpool, he could do just the same with the German national team. One thing I don't expect is quick success, but he gone get it done.

I think the probelm is with the players and not really the coach, because their performance at the world cup was not any different from their recent performance, but now with a more experienced coach. The Germany team needs more experienced players who are ready to represent their country, there is no passion whatsoever on the pitch with these boys, you could see it on their faces. Jurgen Klopp is definitely not the problem, but I still believe that their form would be revived like the old days, maybe sooner than expected. There were times i do hear of the German machines but they are not what they use to be now, last world cup Germany were rated high for countries that might win the the world cup but when the tournament started Germany didn't perform well and they were sent home. I can't guess what is wrong with Germany recently, look at how they are even struggling to qualify in the group, they will really need to win their game with Serbia if they want to keep their qualifying hope alive.

Perhaps there is a change of generations happening, and while the new team is taking shape, they are going through a difficult period. On the other hand, the German national team has a lot of very talented players and honestly, it’s difficult to understand exactly what they are lacking. They have lost their reliability in defense, while at the same time they have also lost their attacking strength. I think Klopp is a good enough coach to figure out exactly what the problem with the German national team is. But I’m not sure he will be given too much time to do it.

Jorge Jesus actually disrespected Ronaldo and it is very bad of him. I was not expecting him to act this way towards Ronaldo. If he knows he was not willing to use Ronaldo he shouldn’t have called him up, it is a big embarrassment for a player like Ronaldo to be called up just to keep him on the bench. My anger right now is that the coach is making this kind of statement and I don’t see the reason why he should be making this kind of statement. It is very bad of him. Let see if his going to win the trophy.
What the hell did I just read... He is the coach, he decides who plays and who doesn't. Ronaldo is behaving like a spoiled kid because he didn't play a match that Portugal managed to win. It's ridiculous. He is showing no respect at all for all his teammates because he basically made clear that if he doesn't play then he doesn't care about the national team. He's incredibly selfish. Yes the coach decides who plays and who doesn't, you're absolutely right but you saying the team won without him that's why his angry. The media has always twisted narratives about this man and one thing I still love that he does is that he doesn't care about whatever they say, be it true or false. I'm sure you watch the reels circulating online but there's this part that even the media has failed to show or talk about, it's always the other aspect. When Ramos and the jersey number 6 was subbed off, it was only Ronaldo was the bench that shook their hands and hugged them, that part was never shown by the media. When Portugal scored, he was from the stance clapping, same media edited that part but only showed were Ronaldo stood, with his hands up as if he was thinking and the part after the whistle that he walked to the tunnel, these were the images and videos circulating online. We have seen these kind of things countless number of times, so it doesn't move us anymore. Something must have happened for him to have left the squad, I got something from Dalots interview, he said we should wait until we here from Ronaldo, so I wonder why you are already drawn to conclusions, but either ways we still don't care, you people can think whatever you like.

The main problem is the lack of star players. The quality of star players that the German team had in 2014 or before is not in the current team. You are right that a generation has changed and the new generation has not produced star players of that quality. Star players of the quality of Toni Kroos and Mesut Özil have not yet been produced in the German team. There are only a few players in the current German squad who can be called star players, but they are not of that quality. When you mentioned the German team, I remembered Italy and Brazil. What is the situation of these two teams now. For Brazil, even playing in the semi-finals has become a nightmare, Italy is not getting a chance at the World Cup. Which team are we going to lose next?

Germany have made everyone think they can not do anything in this competition, Jurgen Klopp is doing everything possible to make the team performance look good but the performance keep getting worse, but there are some things that Jurgen Klopp is doing that is affecting the team performance, why is he not starting Florian Wirtz in those two games, i didn’t hear anything about the player getting injured or he is not in good form, we all know how he perform when he play for Germany. Jurgen Klopp want to rebuild the team the way he did at Liverpool but that is going to take time, and the fans are not going to expect anything good from the players and the coach, because Germany lost a lot of big players that help them to win trophies and they have not found their replacement, Germany needs a rebuild and it will take time, but in this match i am expecting a win from Germany.

From what I heard there was an agreement between them and Cristiano Ronaldo. They agreed that Cristiano Ronaldo was going to play half of the matches and again Cristiano Ronaldo wanted to retire from the national team, but they begged him to stay and he decided to stay, so why would they be treating him this way? Cristiano Ronaldo is supposed to retire from the national team as a hero not this way, they should reconcile and make things work the right way. Isn't it obvious this is a planned work? They actually called him up to humiliate him, isn't it clear it's happening that way, but I tell if truly this is their plan, then they must be making a very huge mistake, because Humiliation of not, Portugal team or not Cristiano still remain, and one thing they seem to be forgetting is that Cristiano Ronaldo is the face of the Portuguese National football team, many people are only showing interest on the country football all because of Cristiano Ronaldo, if he should retire now, then I can tell you for free no one is looking towards the Portuguese team direction, if they like they should win the world cup, it won't move anyone, so they should better put things in order before it's too late.

No no no, stop there: I never said Ronaldo was pissed off because the team won without him. I said that he's behaving like a kid after Portugal managed to win the game. So I can maybe, and that's a huge maybe, understand a complain from Ronaldo in case Portugal lost the game and he didn't play like "hey, if I was on the pitch we would have won", but complaining after a victory makes no sense at all and it really shows his true nature: he doesn't care whether the team wins or loses, he only cares about himself and his numbers. Why on earth would somebody create this situation after winning a match against one of the best teams in Europe? What he did has no excuses. He must understand that he's not above the team nor the country. He could have waited until the national matches were done and then tell everybody his problems. Doing in the middle of the matches only damages the spirit of the team. But he doesn't care.

It's ridiculous. He is showing no respect at all for all his teammates because he basically made clear that if he doesn't play then he doesn't care about the national team. He's incredibly selfish.
It shouldn't be seen that way. If we're talking about a LEGEND like CR7, we shouldn't disrespect him. You know why? Because he's a legend. He's the only Portuguese player who has brought this country so much success. If you look at it, CR7 has suffered, he's enjoyed, he's given everything for his country in football, he's practically fought alone. When Portugal loses, the news doesn't mention Bruno's team or anyone else's; no, they say "Portugal, CR7's team, lost." And if they lose, the bad guy is CR7; if they win, it's all the same to CR7. So you can't call up a star to play and then not put him in. What happened is that Jorge Jesus told CR7 he wasn't going to play against Denmark and Norway (which I think is wrong), and that if he thought it was appropriate, he would put him in. Perfect, CR7 accepted. What happened next? Jorge Jesus had Cristiano Ronaldo warm up for 30 minutes during the match against Norway, and then didn't put him in. So, Ronaldo warmed up and stood there waiting like an idiot to be put in, only to be left out. That's just ridiculous. After the match, Jorge Jesus met with Ronaldo and representatives from the Portuguese Football Federation. He told Ronaldo he was sorry, that he hadn't been able to play him, that he'd missed the opportunity, and that he would apologize in the post-match press conference. Everything seemed fine, and Ronaldo understood and accepted. What happened? Jorge Jesus got carried away and said in the press conference that he was the one in charge, and that no player was going to tell him what to do even though Jorge Jesus himself had apologized to CR7 and Proença, the representative of the Portuguese Football Federation, was right there. Then this guy comes out making those statements, and wow, that's called betrayal and disrespect. Furthermore, let's be clear: CR7 isn't the same as his teammates. You can't say that a newbie on Bitcointalk is the same as a legend; it's never like that. So CR7 just stuck it out. I would have left the first time, because if they're going to call me up just to have me as a clown on the bench so they can say that the manager is the one in charge? Man, that's stupid. You're dealing with the all-time leading scorer, the best in Portugal, and one of the best in the world. You can't be that stupid to treat a legend like that. What would Messi have done? Something similar, right? But why did that never happen to Messi? Simple. Messi, his country, his Federation, and his entire team give him his proper place. Every Argentinian knows he's their biggest role model, so they take care of him, protect him, and he responds on the pitch. Portugal, on the other hand, doesn't. I've seen that it's pure envy, pure bad blood... In fact, many of us supported Portugal just because of CR7... You only have to look at Portugal's Instagram account and how many followers they've lost. Many will say, "but he's 41 years old..." Yes, he is, but he still has the skills, and if they call him up it's because they have to rely on him. He's not a lucky charm; he's a player, he's the captain. For God's sake, Jorge Jesus is nobody next to CR7. There are levels, there are hierarchies to respect.

To be honest, i don’t deny that Cristiano Ronaldo performance has indeed declined and that’s normal, in fact it’s quite remarkable that at his current age, he still has such flawless finishing. I’m deeply saddened to see his career with his own national team end so badly and so shamefully, they show no respect for a player who put Portugal on the map and dedicated his entire life to advancing his country’s soccer. Those involved in this should be ashamed, whether it’s the coach or the arrogant players who think they’re better than Ronaldo. I see the main reason for calling Cristiano Ronaldo back as not merely to help the team win matches, but rather to capitalize on his popularity. This is just my wild thought, everyone is free to have their own opinion.

-snip- Let see if his going to win the trophy.
The more i follow these news stories, the more my head feels like it’s on fire. This drama concludes with the story of a young man who brought Portugal’s great name to the world stage by never missing a major tournament while playing for the national team. This young man from humble beginnings changed the way soccer was played in his era; in fact, many other stars failed to achieve the feats that so many players dream of. In the end, every era has its own figure, and every person has their own era. It’s just a matter of how that journey ends—in happiness or suffering. Ronaldo has already proven to the world who he is and what he has accomplished throughout his career. At this point, it’s clear. He’s past his prime, as seen in his final match, which ended in a one-goal victory. He no longer possesses the same sharpness in finishing as he once did. Age simply cannot mask the decline in his physical strength. Now, Portugal is playing against Denmark without Ronaldo. Wins and losses will continue to be the talk of the media. Let him enjoy his life without the constant need to discuss him anymore.

Spain look more stronger than other team at the moment but that doesn't guarantee victory. They won the world cup and they are capable of winning the Nations league but there are still strong teams too and the competition will get more serious when it's get to the knock out stages.
Spain's pace is very high; they're difficult to beat. If you score a goal, they respond with two more. I think that if France and Portugal don't stop this team, they'll undoubtedly win this Nations League. They're winning their matches by a landslide, which makes them look far superior. Turkey seems to be the most disappointing team, and the revelation, in my opinion, is Italy.

Portugal performance in the ongoing match against Denmark is fascinating because three goals have been scored in total within 26 minutes of the game. Portugal took the early lead on the 13 minutes with a beautiful ball work that ended in a goal. Cancelo scored with am easy finish. Ten minutes later, Damsgaard clapped back the goal on the 23rd minutes with a classic goal to level the score line 1-1. On the 25th minutes, Portugal took back the lead and this time, it was Ramos that scored the second goal to make it 1-2.

I think Portugal is coming back to life again after Ronaldo walked out of the team. We can clearly see that Ronaldo is the cause of the problems that the team has been facing because he acts authoritative and doesn't allow others opinion to count in the team. He always want everything to work according to how he wants but he forgets that a player cannot be bigger than the club. Look how happy and devoted that Portugal players are. Imagine how they scored quickly immediately Denmark equalised he score, that's to show you how much energy the team is feeling now.

Nobody is denying Ronaldo is a legend but he is 41 years old! Do you guys understand that? He is 41 years old and he plays in Saudi Arabia! When Portugal loses, the news doesn't mention Bruno's team or anyone else's; no, they say "Portugal, CR7's team, lost." And if they lose, the bad guy is CR7; if they win, it's all the same to CR7. So you can't call up a star to play and then not put him in. Is that a rule I missed my whole life? What happened is that Jorge Jesus told CR7 he wasn't going to play against Denmark and Norway (which I think is wrong), and that if he thought it was appropriate, he would put him in. Perfect, CR7 accepted. What happened next?
Jorge Jesus had Cristiano Ronaldo warm up for 30 minutes during the match against Norway, and then didn't put him in. So, Ronaldo warmed up and stood there waiting like an idiot to be put in, only to be left out. That's just ridiculous. You do understand that a coach can change his mind depending on how the match is going, do you? Just because they tell you to warm up doesn't necessarily mean you're going to play but simply to be ready.
So basically a coach should lose his face in front of everybody basically admitting that the team is run by Ronaldo, not by him, right? Why would the other players respect the coach at that point? The coach is called coach for a reason. Otherwise Portugal could tell Ronaldo to manage the team. He is a legend for what he did in the past, not for what he's doing now. Do you see the difference? What would Messi have done? Something similar, right? But why did that never happen to Messi? Simple. Messi, his country, his Federation, and his entire team give him his proper place. Every Argentinian knows he's their biggest role model, so they take care of him, protect him, and he responds on the pitch. Portugal, on the other hand, doesn't. I've seen that it's pure envy, pure bad blood... In fact, many of us supported Portugal just because of CR7... You only have to look at Portugal's Instagram account and how many followers they've lost. Messi chose to retire from the national team at the right moment. Why? Because he understood it was time to leave space to young players. He's not going to play in the next WC so what's the point of keep playing for the team? Just to improve his personal numbers? Or are we expecting Ronaldo to play at the next WC too, when he's going to be 45 years old? Many will say, "but he's 41 years old..." Yes, he is, but he still has the skills, and if they call him up it's because they have to rely on him. He's not a lucky charm; he's a player, he's the captain. For God's sake, Jorge Jesus is nobody next to CR7. There are levels, there are hierarchies to respect.
No, he doesn't have the skills because he barely does anything for the team, he just waits for the ball and then he shoots, no matter the position, no matter the teammates. There is a reason if he ended up in Saudi Arabia and nobody in Europe wanted him. Everything comes to an end, and Ronaldo career with the national team should have ended years ago but because of who he is, they kept calling him anyway so he could beat the records. He should have left after the World Cup, just like Messi did. But he's too stubborn and too selfish to understand that. And now he potentially ended he Portugal's career walking away like a spoiled kid in the middle of the several matches showing zero respect for everyone.

Greece is putting up stunning performance in the first leg of the group stage competition. The have almost secured their lead against Netherlands which looked almost impossible before the game began. If the seal the victory then the will be 5 points above Germany who are currently leading Serbia with a 1 goal win. Germany needs to guide this win with all they have if they must increase their chances of maintaining the second position as they get ready for the return leg of the competition.

I wouldn't agree with you that Ronaldo caused any problem in Portugal because he has sacrificed a lot for the team. His only problem is that, he forgets that he's no longer young and cannot perform as expected because football is mainly for the young and not for a man of his age. He has realized it, which is the reason why he walked away from the team. I believe, he wouldn't be mad at the players.

This particular match is a shocker for me, it's halfway through the entire game and Greece are completely greasing Holland by two goals to nothing and it would have even gotten worse as they have missed some good clear chances. I for one never taught I will see the scoreline like this by halftime but there is still a whole 45minutes to still play in this game so maybe Holland can still adjust and make things work out and who knows, probably get their head back into the game.

wales might just get its first win today. just a moment ago, norway’s torbjörn heggem was shown a red card, and the score is currently 1-1. we can say that norway has already secured a spot in the next round, but it would have been better if they had won this match.
just as i was writing this, wales scored a goal. let’s see what the final score will be. wales is currently leading 2-1.
