Thousands of years ago scientists have to carried out crimes against humans and nature to find cures, we are all benefiting from one or two today.

The enemies of your enemies are your friends for a reason.

The greatest invention can come from the most imbalance being on earth, it is left for law to judge anyone who do evil for their own reasons, this is why we have LAW, there is no human that's born a saint, even after we are all born we still sin till this day, there is no single saint walking the face of the earth.

To all those saying nonsense that if we know who really created Bitcoin that we will never use it, you have no idea.

If eating your chicken poops is what will heal you from a rare disease wouldn't you eat it? Even if Bitcoin was created by Adolf Hitler I will still use it because it works for my need, I will praise Hitler for inventing Bitcoin and it's fine to hate him for initiating genocides, as a human this is normal.

But this is present day, we don't know who really invented Bitcoin, and the creator is so smart that he knew all this nonsense could come up in the future he then choose to remain anonymous. Nakamoto is a genius to have saw all these coming,  he knew perfectly well that once something works very well, humans will try looking for dirts from his past.

Focus on the solution that the invention brings, not the creators past.

Things can be invented by many people who belong to different categories when you or society classify them as good or bad people but mostly scammers are pretty stupid so they are less likely able to invent something cool, and helpful for societies. They are only good at finding holes in laws, platforms for doing their exploitations and steal money of companies, someone else for their financial benefit.

Great things are invented by good people, in most invention, innovation, this is true while what will happen after that is diversifying but how it is used is not responsibility or fault of inventors. Like funs, fun powder were invented for good things but criminals use them for bad purposes while it's not responsibility of Alfred Nobel.

Bitcoin is Bitcoin, it was created by Satoshi Nakamoto and it has many great things to use for everyone. Who invented it is not important and won't change how we use Bitcoin blockchain.

It doesn’t really matter, because we don’t even know him personally, we don’t know his past or anything. So judging the technology based on the creator doesn’t make sense.

People are investing in the technology, not in the person behind it. That’s why it’s open source, so anyone can audit it, check for bugs or flaws. And until now, nothing major has destroyed it. That’s also why the market cap already reached billions. That’s trust in the system, not in Satoshi Nakamoto.

Honestly, I don’t really care who Satoshi is. Whether it’s Craig Wright, or even Donald Trump, that’s not important to me. What matters is that the system works, and people still trust it after all these years.

By the way, I agree with your opinion, if someone invented something good, then their past doesn't matter in terms of invention, because a knife can be used for both, good and bad things, it depends on who uses it for what purpose.
Btw it's a little bit different from Bitcoin. Bitcoin has a bad reputation or at least the media and the government has been actively trying to tag Bitcoin as a tool of money laundering and illegal activities, so if we discover that the person who created Bitcoin is someone with a very bad past, it can probably influence Bitcoin's future.

I think that even black PR is still PR, it will find its followers anyway. I’m not very concerned about the alleged stories about Bitcoin’s creators or what kind of people they were. The fact is that bitcoin has already secured its niche in society, and no alternative cryptocurrency can even come close to its level. Considering the essentially growing demand, the lack of strong competitive alternatives, and the already established habit among holders to keep bitcoin, I don’t think there’s much reason to worry that it will be rejected or “banned” by society.

This discussion stands between morality & value of the findings. Personally, I'm fine with it being true that Epstein is the man behind Bitcoin (BTC), as most users on this topic argue that the value is more important to pay attention to than anything else.

The modern world has a growing culture, for us in Asia, we have a term called "cancel culture" where people will not use a product, will not watch a content creator's content, will not invite a public figure to an event if they're proven to have made a fatal mistake.

The point is I don't care who created Bitcoin, and I don't care about the various wild theories that I often find, because in the end for me it is not about who created it but what he created to benefit the world, for all of us who have been enjoying it. We just need to preserve what he left behind without digging into his past. Epstein's story is nothing more than a classic

I just can't wrap my head around the fact that people keep playing up this scandal and linking it to Bitcoin. People need to know that Epstein was connected to so many important people and so many projects-- but for some reason, people keep linking him to Bitcoin even though there is no evidence directly connecting Epstein to the development or funding of Bitcoin. What matters the most is that bitcoin cannot be manipulated by anyone, at least that is the beauty of decentralization, I would dismiss this Epstein creating bitcoin bullshit as another bad PR for bitcoin in the bear season. Criminals are prosecuted based on the crimes they committed, not for simply existing. If a criminal feeds hungry children but kills women at night, he would be prosecuted for murdering women; the act of feeding children won't be on trial, and neither will the act of feeding children be looked at as a bad thing.
It is the act that they committed that they will be prosecuted for.
So if the person who created Bitcoin turns out to be a serial killer or child trafficker, he should be jailed or killed for the crime he committed, not for creating Bitcoin.

We have had a similar conversation like this here before, and I mention few people who were awful human beings but made impactful inventions that made the lives in those fields easier.
If today, Satoshi's identity gets revealed, and later it is discovered that he committed a crime, I would personally campaign for him to face the penalty for the crime he committed, but that doesn't mean I can't use his invention.

There has been no single piece of proof that Jeffrey Epstein is Satoshi. Some anti-Bitcoin forces are pushing this narrative just to gain attention or give Bitcoin a bad name. This connection to Bitcoin is simply because he donated money to MIT Media Lab, which was used to finance the MIT Digital Currency Initiative (DCI). Funds from DCI were used to pay some Bitcoin Core developers.  

Meanwhile, he also donated to Harvard University, Columbia University, Isreali Army, and different political parties. Why is nobody attacking other receivers? I think we need to ignore these haters.
