Made a free interactive site to understand how Bitcoin works (PoW, blocks, etc.)

Hey guys,

I built a small interactive site where you can mess around with PoW, blocks, forks, difficulty, etc. instead of just reading walls of text.

It’s free. No tokens, no trading stuff, no signups. Just trying to make the mechanics easier to feel.

If you’re learning Bitcoin and want to see what’s going on under the hood, maybe it helps.

This looks awesome!  Honestly, the cool design caught my eye immediately.  Its clear you put a lot of work into making this look polished and user-friendly.

I havent checked all the functions yet, but I did mess around with the difficulty settings and its a great way to actually visualize how the hash power reacts.  Seriously, great work on this.

A more realistic way to learn.
This is not only better than wall of texts, it is better than video lessons.
This is because, it is very practical. You feel you are doing it and that is the best way to learn.

Played around your website for a while, and I can say it's quite fun. I can imagine someone with no prior knowledge understanding the lesson fairly well. That being said, I feel like the font is a bit too small for me. Might be because I'm older, but I think increasing the font-size would help with accessibility. It won't be a problem if someone accessed it from a device like a phone, I guess, but it would be nice if I didn't have to zoom in to comfortably read the text (I'm using a MacBook Air M1 with 1680 x 1050 resolution btw).

I like the idea behind this. The website is well created showing the amount of effort that was put into it. The first modules of the curriculum does not look very user friendly to me. If I do not understand why hash and target are useful to bitcoin mining I would not be able to fully grasp its usefulness and relate it to their bitcoin knowledge journey.

Good job. I did visited and played around the site and it's commendable to build a dumb headed about bitcoin who though is willing to learn about the framework of the blockchain but doesn't promise suitable for every beginners.
Navigating through the site contains some sorts of practical theory with keen elements of engagements that's easy going for individuals who may have passed the elementary stage of bitcoin.

Great initiative! It's good to get an idea of ​​how things can work; learning is always useful when starting a new activity. I really liked the proposal of learning through learning paths; it's a sequential development approach that doesn't confuse the "student." It's a helpful website, and I'm exploring it right after reading your thread.  In fact, I bookmarked it so that it will easily to find for future reference.
It will really help newbies asking how to start learning in Bitcoin, which I usually suggest Bitcoin.org, and I think this website is also something I recommend to them to explore.

But one thing I just wanted to know after exploring the site.
Is this using real-time data?  I found that it has different results on the next halving days countdown and also the Bitcoin total remaining supply, it has a different answer compared to CoinMarketCap and Coingecko.

I mean it was actually very good it look amazing on designs, It was interactive and very well made, I was trying the website and I actually enjoy it, even though I wasn't really great at this terms or something It just explode my brain on the start but it was really helpful It help me understand a lot of things about it and learn about the course, I could really see this works, plus it was interactive you need to use brain power here, even though mind short circuit a little, it was doing great so that you could actully understand how the terms works or something.

I could easily see this working for some newbies who want to understand or want to increase their knowledge. You are doing great here. Add more courses, I'm telling you, your website was amazing. Continue doing a great job.

This is a great way to learn the mechanics of bitcoin by interacting with it. On the difficulty adjustment scene it would help if there is a way to stop the search. I tried the highest level and it has taken a very long time to complete the search as is expected, if I want to too it and try again with a different value I should be able to do that without waiting it out.

Indeed, the website is a good one, and any newbie who wants to learn about blockchain can easily comprehend it so easily without much stress. I like how simple it is in illustrations and explanations. You were down-to-earth in everything about the website, and I believe anyone who visits would be able to assimilate all you have put up there for learning purposes. Your website wll make it easy even for users with no technical background to understand how bitcoin works under the hood. There is no better way to learn than by practicing and interacting with real-life examples.
Just some suggestions, I think allowing users to change the Difficulty on the Mini-Miner tool would give users a better understanding of how difficulty really works by seeing how adjusting it from 4 to 5, for example, affects the time it takes to find a block.
I also noticed that some courses on the Course map are locked and you can’t access them unless you complete reading the previous one. I think it would be better if you unlock them.

I just finished the beginner course and it's really cool! I like the interactive explanations and also the mini quiz after each module. I checked the curriculum for the intermediate course but it looks too advanced for me, so I will continue it next time. I gave you my last merit, thank you for this

You could look into adding a backend to this thing once it gains traction.

Just imagine devoting your to build something Ike this to help
the community check out easier things that could be bugging them. This would surely help those newbies that are joining the space for the first time. I know how expensive this could be to raise up something like this.

Thank you, for your efforts in making it easier for people to understand how Bitcoin works. Sometimes, I often consider compiling references or sources to put them together as an explanation, and I even considered making a video for it, but I found that the interactive website you built would be easier, and more enjoyable for visitors. I have tried it for a while, and some of the explanations are quite simple, yet easy to digest and understand. The multiple-choice knowledge checker is also very helpful for reviewing what has been learned. I think you have helped many people, or will help anytime with this website.
