I occasionally watch boxing matches and when it comes to heavyweight championship, I dare not miss the match night. It's just a thing I guess and sometimes I must say the theme of the fixture gives me goosebumps and make me wait in anticipation.
The stats obviously didn't lie with this data of Fabio and Daniel:
Fabio Wardley: 20-0-1 with 19 KOs (95% KO rate).
Daniel Dubois: 22-3-0 with 21 KOs (95% KO rate).

Am sure the bookmakers would be favouring Wardley over Dubois because I sure am and it's because I love the play of psychology more than brute strength without thoughts.

Dubois has the strength to land a KO with his big left hook, but am sure Wardley can outmaneuver his punches by not breaking erratically under the pressure of punches, but being fluid, calm and able to counter whatever Dubois has coming in tactics.
I don't see a 12 round match because am sure we would get a winner before the rounds complete.

I saw the Wardley-Parker, and they traded punches as if there was no tomorrow. It's an all-out fight between Wardley and Dubois.
Both fighters know how to phase themselves but can deliver a knockout punch when there's an opportunity. I voted for Wardley. Parker was a very tough opponent, but Wardley still delivered a stoppage.

at 1.66 that's a decent odds if you are confident with him winning this. But if you go for Dubois, you'll get 2.10.

I agree with the oddsmakers having Dubois as an underdog. After the AJ win, he looked like he might be the future of the heavyweight division, but he has left many doubts after Usyk made him quit for the second time. Dubois has innate physical talent, but he is mentally weak.

Wardley is coming off that TKO win against Joseph Parker, and that is going to help boost his confidence. With Usyk nearing retirement, I don’t see anybody from the current generation living up to his legacy, but at least there are some very good fights that can be made in this division.

The momentum is on Wardley. I was impressed by that Parker Fight. Parker is a tough opponent. I never expected that Parker could be stopped, but Wardley did it by his persistence, something I don't see in Dubois.
All three of Dubois' losses came from quitting, so Wardley just needs to be consistent and pesistent and he can have Dubois quitting.
Dubois has power, but if he can't stop Wardley in the first three rounds, he will be in trouble, as Wardley is good at figuring out his opponent.

Although Daniel Dubois suffered a defeat against Oleksandr Usyk, I still like him in this match. He already fought Anthony Joshua before and beat him, so that already tells you he’s not an ordinary boxer.

Most of his recent losses were against Usyk, and let’s be honest, Usyk has dominated this division. So losing to him doesn’t really mean you’re weak.
Experience-wise, I’d still go with Dubois here. And on the betting side, it looks even more attractive since he’s the underdog. That’s usually where the value is.

My money is on Dubois, too. He's faced far more dangerous and proven heavyweights in the past, like Usyk and Joyce. He certainly has the experience, but still needs to watch his defense against Wardley; that guy loves to go wild when he sees an opening.  The title for this match certainly proves the track record for both fighters. This is gonna be a fun and wild match, one that will make you glued to your screens.

I bet on Dubois against Usyk in their rematch thinking he could end the fight anytime with a single blow, but I was caught by a big surprise that he got knocked out by an old man who doesn't have much punching power, and in round 5. I'm not underestimating Usyk, but Dubois was the only boxer whom Usyk KOed after several years. Usyk was approaching 40 and Dubois was fresh from knocking out Joshua and 2 undefeateds.

This is what fights like to see: two fighters who have power and only know how to move forward, especially if it's a title fight. I'm leaning on Wardley, but I never ignore Dubois' power problem. With him, it's his motivation. It's bad for a boxer's reputation if they are a known quitter.

And he was a huge underdog against Parket that time, but he still focuses on that fight and we thought that Parker was really tough until he was exposed on that fight. On the other hard, there could have been pressure on Dubois to be the next real big thing in Heavyweight. But he is still young and inexperienced in my opinion that's why he didn't perform that good against a really talented Usyk. So this might set up the tempo for the Heavyweight division as there are words that Fury is going to make a comeback and they are talking about a Joshua vs Fury. So maybe the winner here could face that winner of that Joshua vs Fury fight and it could be the be biggest fight in British history. But for sure this fight is going to be big in England as well. And if Wardley has that momentum and the bring the same confidence in this fight, he might score a knockout win against Dubois here.

Three more weeks before this match happened, I liked Roy Jones Jr.'s assessment of the fight, he is right that the ball is on Dubois  he needs to take action in the early rounds, all of Dubois losses comes in the late rounds because he falters down the stretch and Wardley is the opposite, he is methodicaldical and only takes action in the late rounds, he always take the championship rounds which are round 9 to 12.

Yes, the fight lived up to the hype. It was just early though, round 1 knockdowns that's why he as able to get up and composed himself again. If that happens in the middle rounds he could have given up on this fight.

And it amazes me how Fabio's chin was able to hold up with that power from Dubois. He still eats it although damage has been done to him but still he make a good comeback in the last couple of rounds but Dubois has build enough confidence to finished him out and referee stopping the fight in round 11.

It was just a glancing blow on the side of the head on the first knockdown. That's why he get up so quickly and doesn't look damage at all. Wobbly, but if the punch was solid enough I don't think he can get up. And with this win, Dubois is a champion again and yes, as one of those announcer says, it's one of the best heavyweight fight that he had seen. Hopefully the fight between AJ and Fury will go like this.

I also thought that because he is a known quitter, it's good that he has good seconds who keep motivating him to stay on. Let's admit it, Dubois has power in both hands, but is quick to give up when the tide turns against him. In this fight, he shows resiliency and confidence, leading to the stoppage.

Kudos to Fabio for always coming back with that heavy barrage of punches coming from Dubois. I'm amazed at how he manages to still stand up when hit by those hard punches. Yeah, I agree this is indeed a candidate for a fight of the year, hopefully it wins.

The fight should have been stopped earlier because Fabio suffered too many heavy punches, but it's good that he is ok. This was a different Dubois from the one we've seen. Many have thought that Dubois is going to quit, but he shows that night that it's a different Dubois in that ring.
Now he is a champion again. There are so many contenders to face; there's a buzz that he's going to face the new sensation, Moses Itauma. Let's see if it's going to happen. As for a unification bout against Usyk, I don't think it's going to happen.
