What could be the reason why my topic was deleted?

Some forum users have complained how they almost go scammed while doing p2p on bybit exchange, I have also experienced similar situation while using bybit p2p, for example, you would place a trade for the advertised price but the buyer would start to bargain price with you, sometimes the buyers will even short pay you and when you don't realize it on time, you will release your coin to them. Another problem people also encountered was delayed payment while selling you coins on bybit p2p but two days ago, I saw a user on bybit who does not bargain price, he didn't short pay me and he makes payment just immediately you place your order.

I saw that this was good and I decided to bring it to the local board but the topic got deleted, what was the reason?

Advertising a P2P seller is not something the moderator may see appropriate which will be the reason he deleted your post. You can post about a scam you encountered, do not post about buyers and sellers ads on another exchange. If everyone start to post buyers and sellers ads, it will not be appropriate but become spam.

There are many reputable buyers and sellers on the P2P while there are shady buyers and sellers their also. That guy is not the only person there. The post is highly unnecessary and seen as a spam by moderator.

With P2P trades, there are many offers for buyers/sellers to choose, and if they agree with a given offer, open a trade with a trade partner and complete the trade. There is no need of bargain the offer for either selling or buying price. Any deal of bargain is scam.

You mean this thread should be moved to exchangs child board? He asked for the reason his topic was deleted, it is related to meta as I have seen many discussions like this on Meta board.

Exchange board does not have a child board, but exchange board is a child board of service discussion.

He is trying to complain about why the post was deleted (questioning the forum's moderation policy). He decided to include the summary of contents of the post that was deleted. I think he didn't bring it out quite well, but the topic is exactly where it should be.

It seems like a legit user experience tying to share with not just spam sharing thread though, it could not do more damage since doing p2p have more dynamic options to consider before chosing a merchant seller. But yes it sounded like an advertising the p2p seller, but again it's a user experience and many users is doing just like that here. I might guess it's just posted on the wrong board, that's why it was deleted.

This is the first post of its kind that I have seen that is advertising a centralized exchange user, neither have I seen anyone advertising any decentralized exchange user. P2P offers will be accepted if you are offering the service on this forum, but not anything that has to do with exchanges like Bybit P2P user that OP is talking about. Such post should not be allowed, it can even lead to people posting other users for scam purpose.

Frankly speaking, advertising a p2p vendor in the forum is something I find inappropriate. So I have to believe that, the local board moderator who deleted your topic also find it inappropriate. Secondly your thread don't have anything meaningful or helpful to contribute to the forum. If you have a sure p2p vendor you can share it with your friends, don't create thread with it in the forum. So lock this thread, and next time try and create thread that has something meaningful and helpful, and not this type that was deleted.

I check the deleted thread that seems to be not about avoiding scam tutorial but can be understood as an advertisement for a P2P trader. Perhaps that is a reason why it was deleted by moderator.

I actually made a comment on this proposed thread that just got deleted by the moderator. And to be frankly speaking, you literally just advertise the vendor on that Bybit p2p, of which might have been considered to have gone against rule number 22 of the unofficial rules of the forum by "mprep" as shown below. Because if you never didn't emphasize that people should go trade with that vendor you claimed you bought Bitcoin from on Bybit. Your thread would have still been active. So I hope this serves as a warning to never advertise anything either directly or indirectly.

I agree with the moderators' decision and I also think that OP's topic was rightly removed, but that has nothing to do with rule number 22.
Rule number 22 says that you are not allowed to advertise in others's thread. OP created a new topic and the post was not in others' thread.

The topic was deleted as a result of trying to promote a specific p2p advertiser which is inappropriate to do on the forum, if that buyer was good to you doesn't mean he would be good to other people. Hence, it is not really encouraging to start promoting whomever you trader with on bybit p2p. Also I had similar experience this morning this doesn't mean I would start promoting that person over here as it's not called for. However, there have been a lot of bybit p2p on the local board which I think if you had any experience it would be that ideal to locate one of those topics to continue your discussion over there instead of to create to more topics in regards to same issues.

The moderator did not tell him to agree with anything but he deleted the post a he think it is appropriate and which is appropriate. Is there anywhere the moderator say this? With what I have read, I did not see anywhere he said it. This kind of posts are unwanted, I am talking about the advertising post.

You could have sent the mod a message before creating this thread. In my opinion, your topic “Trade With XX XX on Bybit” comes off as a strong promotion. I’m not surprised that someone reported it to the mods. You could have shared your experience without directing people to a particular p2p vendor.

I have learned the reason that lead to the deletion of my topic, I appreciate all your replies. I had no idea it would be against the community guidelines to create such topic, else I would not have created the topic in a way of directly directing people to trade with  the p2p person. In my mind, I thought I was helping our people and that I have found a solution to a problem that was really a concern to my people. I think I should lock the topic now that the problem have been solved? Thank you all.
