Do review Sites Still help bad casinos?

Any publicity is good publicity so being listed is going to help even if it was with a bad review I suppose.   It should be the case that being bottom of a list means very little publicity, ie. not on a front page otherwise it is helping them out way too much.
  Presumably the very worst you have list but not link in order to seriously warn people to avoid such places.

Yes good or bad publicity is still publicity.. there’s absolutely no reason to take them down.

If casinos with bad reputation gets taken down then it increase it chance of still getting more victims, that’s what review is all about btw.

Good or bad reviews is how visitors get to know the bad casinos.. Sometimes they like cheating the system with fake reviews so if you ever  visit and notice any, put in your own review too. By doing that , you’re also contributing positively doesn’t matter your review about such a service is “ negative or positive”

Some casino does not have a good reputation there are being covered under the umbrella of the forum and many people see the gambling platform in this forum as a good one without investigating properly about the particular platform, there is one thing I understand in Casino platform I understood that casinos there are in competition and many have license to operate and it is all about sincere but some casino does not operate with license and they have a hidden agenda while they are operating so that is why you see different casinos with the different rules and regulation that we favor them only so I will add device that anyone who see or encounter a new casino the person should do investigate properly before patronizing such casino platform.

Seeing them with a low rating and bad reviews is better than having none at all, at least you’re aware. It’s up to you if you’re inexperienced enough to get hooked by those casinos. It’s not really their fault if you still fall for it. Review sites won’t remove them just because they have a bad reputation, that’s what review sites are for. If they remove them, then you lose one source when you’re searching for feedback.

I noticed that some casinos already have bad reputation in forums, many complaints, delayed withdrawals, even scam issues. But when you check review sites, they are still listed, just with low ratings.

For me, this is still publicity. Even with bad reviews, they are still visible. New players might still click, see the bonus, and register. Most people don’t really read deep.

Feels like some review sites only care about affiliate money. As long as they earn, they will still list these casinos even if there are already many complaints.

They say good or bad publicity is still publicity, and in gambling this feels true.
I think review sites should be stricter and just not include these casinos at all, instead of giving low scores and moving on.

Well, the low scores is supposed to act as a warning ⚠️ to the gambler who is thinking of registering on that site and gambling there, atleast, the low score is supposed to suggest to the gambler to first carry out a thorough research of the casino in question before making any final decision on whether or not to go ahead and register on that casino, deposit and gamble there.

So personally, I don't know about you but I won't put any blame on review site owners on keeping scam casinos listed on their review site so long as they score or rate the casino in a way readers are able know or get an idea that that casino is possibly a scam casino.

Why would you even ask that? Where there is money, there is corruption with the average people. Just look at this forum, most of DT members, merit sources and other senior forum members have been corrupted over pajeet amounts of money from signature campaigns. They are doing everything that they can to preserve the status quo and their sources of this money. Now imagine how the situation is when the money involved is bigger by a factor of a hundred or a thousand? Review websites can be bribed if they are relevant enough, and often in a way that they can not disclose this at all. Perhaps you are really one of the people that believe that 9 out of 10 dentists truly recommend that tooth paste brand from TV?

Do you actually believe that the generic nonsense claim of bad publicity being better than nothing actually works in a casino? How do you think the brain of an average person works? They find a casino that has the worst reviews possible, nothing good is said about them and they say yes that sounds fantastic I will go to play there?  Maybe if there were only a few or none alternatives available, which in this case is not true. Therefore, it is unlikely that this is true. Most likely negative reviews scare off most people with a working brain, and only the biggest idiots decide to play in places like that.

Bad reviews equal bad publicity, taking them down totally reduces evidence even though gamblers can still research further for other negative yet it mixes positive reviews from other angles aswell ..

I would say confirming some numbers of evidence should strip out all positive reviews until it’s been resolved..that’s quite better than taking them down entirely.

The review sites are acting like shillers these days. They will never post any bad review to the site that paid them. So the relevancy to use the review site these days is almost non exist. It's all due to how it can be manipulated so easily. It's the reason people are not using the review site like trust pilot, and etc.

In fact, unbiased casino review site is already gone, and it's never exist. What we have seen is just a bunch of marketing business with 98% fake reviews on it. Trusting casino review site is the same like you have been fallen into promo pages dressed up as analysis to the casino.

It might still be helpful, as not everyone will trust what's presented on review sites, as they already have their own preconceived notions about the casino.
But isn't that the point of review sites? They display ratings from worst to best, players should be discerning and research thoroughly before deciding to play.

It doesn’t seem like the most ethical thing to be profiting from something that has a poor reputation, but they also have to maintain some neutrality, so it’s hard to know where to draw the line. Sometimes casinos can be the victims of smear campaigns and it wouldn’t be fair to shadow ban them from a platform over unfounded allegations.

There are casinos which ruined their reputation on this forum, but I still see them promoted in many places. In cases where it is obvious they are a scam, site owners have the responsibility to act honestly and not mislead users for the sake of earning more affiliate commissions.

It might not be all of them that are doing this, I don't use those site but I have the believe that it's not all of them that would want to take a bribe from those scam casino just to promote them on their platforms. Perhaps, I would recommend everyone to use this forum because it give real opinion about every casino and most especially the opinions and feedback you get on the forum are coming from reputable members and also from members that have experience with the casino you are seeking to know about.

There are several can be trusted and giving fair reviews, but there are lots of those sites gives misleading information to their readers. Which is why its good not to rely on the information shown by those sites. Always trust with our own research and instinct, also its important for us not to believe on one source only and always make a habit to read multiple sources or site to know the real reputation of the casino they are looking for.

Many people pointing out that Bitcointalk is good source of information and I agree with them. The threads they created is a reflection on how their casino running.
