This letter was probably aimed at “stay‑at‑home moms” who might unsuspectingly fall for it and respond right away Grin

I don't recall Trezor ever experiencing a customer data breach. If so, acammers wouldn't need to send out more random mail. Physical mail is actually more convincing than email if the scammers include the same full recepient address as the purchase package.

This may sound like a crazy idea but I do wish that Trezor, Ledger and the others can have a section on their website were they alert their customers and visitors to their websites to these types of attacks.
~snip~

If you had checked, you would have seen that such a site exists (at least when it comes to Ledger) check out the "ongoing phishing campaigns! Among other things, there are examples of various methods used by scammers. This is a small consolation considering that with their bad measures they opened Pandora's box and put all their clients in danger that will last as long as they are alive.

You can check it here:

It was almost 4 years ago though, that's why many of us might not be aware of it.

I don't recall Trezor ever experiencing a customer data breach.
Based on search results, it seems like they have multiple leaks, though. It ranges from a support platform leaking customers details to third-party vendors leaking Trezor's customers orders. Basically, there are many cases as far as 2020 or even earlier. Not to mention some sellers probably sold it on some unknown websites, so the media aren't that up to date with it yet. Anyway, better to be safe than sorry.
