Making it price to always fluctuates as the price moves up and down this fluctuation in the price of Bitcoin has, made some people to be scared when ever Bitcoin is mentioned.I want to say that investment in Bitcoin is a test of faith and patience because, Bitcoin investment should be seen as a long term investment plan which will require you to have faith and patience no matter how the price of Bitcoin will behave. Because from what I can see when ever the price of Bitcoin is down it puts a test on somebody's faith and patience level to believe in the long term benefits associated with investing in Bitcoin .

However, since bitcoin is highly risky due to its volatile nature, you have to widely understand its price fluctuations that could happen any time.

What I think you are trying to stretch here is that you also need better timing for it to actually yield profit, while I won’t actually deny the fact that with great timing you’re are going to be profitable but that also doesn’t defines bitcoin success alone you need to combine that perfectly with been patient as the OP stated. One beauty about bitcoin which most assets do not have is that when you actually invest is not that so much of a particular concern because once you can buy at any time and have the ability to hold for long term then you are also capable of been in profitable at a long run because bitcoin isn’t all about how perfect your point of entry is but also how long you can be able to hold

Actually its not a test of faith if at the first place you know what you are doing when it comes to an investment, not only just with the bitcoin but also with the other part of the investment there is a risk but this risk can be lessen with your knowledge and how to handle the situation. Let's get back on the bitcoin, does not mean that you have a bitcoin is you only have one option. Which is holding your coin. You can make a plan with your investment, such as how long you wanted to trade, how much profit you want to gain and how much on your funds you are willingly to loss. Imagine the part of the bitcoin during the ATH for those who hold their coins for a long term you think some of them hold until now few of them took profit already so better to enjoy the gains selling is part of the market.

After many years to watching this space... I always have the feeling that everybody searching an investment here could get many lessons.
This not means are good or bad lessons. But for sure there is a different approach for people that use bitcoin as "tool" or as "investement".

Bitcoin is the only cryptocurrency that I can boldly recommend to someone that is in search for a coin to invest in the long term, say years. The risk is lower compared to altcoins.
