With a plan, it can take hours of playing just to reach that profit, and it could become expensive if we are unable to let it go. A plan works only if we follow it. what happens is that weather you have plan to follow those rules or not, once you have started gambling, it seams that another software has been installed in you. sometimes it even looks like a virus have attacked your software making it to malfunction. gambling will make you take decision before starting and following another method as soon as you are in. i believe that what causes this is emotion. when wining or loses start, it changes your mindset and this could be as a result of depression or excitement. depression happens when you start losing, and excitement when you are wining. this two things are what drives us to make decisions that makes us not follow our proposed rules.

To be honest, I can relate to you about these problems you are experiencing. These issues are very common in people who are just starting with gambling, but I can still see a lot of people, especially people that already into gambling for a long time that still experiencing this. I realized also that it's not about luck anymore that makes us lose more, but these problems are.

Yes mate, when you are inside of the game, it's really hard to control even if let's say you have a target profit. The feeling that you can still make more money even after reaching it. Because you think that you're in a streak and then you will say to yourself, one more bet.

And if you win it, then maybe another one. But if you lose, you think that you want to recover that money. So just like what you have lay it down, that's what also happen to me until everything is swept away. Then you think what went wrong and promise to yourself that you won't go that route again. But then, the same cycle, it repeats again and again.

Once you set a "target" with gambling you're doing 2 bets in one. You are not gambling to win your bet but you're also gambling to win a specific amount.
What if... you can't reach? Of course you try to win or you try to recover your losses.

It’s very normal to still lose even if you have 5yrs, 10yrs or more experience since all gambling games has house edge and reliant to luck even if the game is categorized as skill based.

Accepting the reality that the chance on winning on gambling is very low in the long run and focusing on the entertainment will give you peace of mind when you lose.

Change your purpose on gambling and just use it whenever you just seek entertainment not for the pursuit of profit.

I also start raising the stakes if I see a win. When I lose, I'm overcome with a strong desire to win my money back. This is completely normal. Casinos operate on these principles. It's so commonplace that no one even questions it anymore. It's a natural process.

The most important thing I've learned over the years is to learn to set a limit on my gambling funds. Run out of funds in your account? That's it, stop playing until the next opportunity.

why you keep losing is that you dont change strategy or you dont want to follow the rules. you just gamble without self decision. you lack self control and think you are all in for the game and you are ready to take  the risk or to bear the consequences of your action if worst comes to worst. when you gamble and feel that you are in total control of your bankroll and you have the right to make and amend decision, this is just what happens later. in conclusion try to set boundaries, try to take decision and stand by it and see the different you will make. life is all about experiment, just try out if you will make a difference.

You have just identified the factors that make most gamblers stay as perpetual losers, yes they matter.

If you are gambling and you don't have control over it, it is just like driving a car to unknown destination and you know the fuel in the car will be exhausted and the car will be packed there until you refill it.

This is not about the hard luck in gambling but it is about not taking the proper step to gambling. If you are gambling and you don't set how much profit you are going for nor when you want to stop your loses then such gambler has definitely planned to fail. You must marshall out these things just like in trading.

First of all I would like to say that in gambling the result always depends on the luck not on the strategy or skill so that no matter how long your experience is that doesn't matter to your output result of gambling.

I don't think that these your strategic plans on how to avoid loses in gambling are the best, from my own experience they are not the best effective plans to gamble responsibly. You don't have any control over your targeted profit in gambling and there's no need to have a maximum lose before you stop, it's only amount per stake that you have a control over. For me the best strategy in gambling is to plan how much you want to spend in a gambling session and let the amount be what you afford to loose. Another effective strategy is planning how long you will gamble before you start which is time management, if the time elapses you quit automatically.

This is actually very common for alot of people who bet, we do not like losing so we try to win back our losses by placing more bets sometimes beyond our intended limits for that day and it almost usually it ends in more losses although sometimes some people actually win back and even end the day in a bit of profit, not all the time but it does happen from time to time.
The reason why you keep doing this is probably because you have not really fully convicted yourself to betting with limits, some people set daily limits for how much they want to spend on betting, if you can do this and actually stick to it then you should be able to limit how much you end up losing.

Personally I open gambling apps or sites, deposit what I want to mess around with, stake on sport bets while waiting to see if I will win after 90 minutes plus I try out other games and stuffs around the casino and all this of having a strategy and target wins are something that is more like a laid pattern which I’m not ready to follow because I don’t see gambling as one special thing that I can do instead I will just have fun and while gambling responsibly, that’s all.
