So my opinion is that one must apply wisdom in order not to have any loss and apply discipline by knowing when to stop even when the winning is big. Discipline alone is the key to the problem.

Experience cannot be an eye opener as these years do not ensure one escapes into the arms of addiction unless they ensure they protect themselves against ready to empty their own pockets to their full capacity. The main pillar to preventing the betrayal of chasing losses is to strictly restrict the time and the amount of bets made which in the long run is certain to ruin our investment. When we recognise the appreciation of the results attained, we will be in a position to make more moderate and clear moves. That is because gamblers often lose rather than win. Sad reality, but that is the truth. People blame the casinos most of the time, not themselves, for their mistakes and greed. @OP if you keep on losing despite those strategic plans you made seems you need a change.  Either your approach or how you implement your plan.  You can reflect deeply on which one you made a mistake and try to change it.  Look for an alternative approach and try them until you find what best fits your personality.

With regards to establishing plans, I also think that it matters and is very important, especially when we are dealing with gambling, where everything is uncertain.  We must implement risk management and create emergency measures once our gambling activity gets out of hand.  We must be decisive in our actions and be firm in following the prepared plan.

This issue of having a target profit range is not being talked about enough.  Most gamblers have found themselves in situations where they end up losing everything they have won just because of greed. It must not be just about having a target profit, but fixed duration of time they can gamble after which they stop gambling for the day

For some, tbe problem is not the game, the casino or whether its online or offline. The problem is that there is truly no plan to know when to take profits, when to quit for the day and the conditions or circumstances that will make one quit gambling for ever. The plan should also include how much one should gamble with in a day, week or month. All of these plans are neccessary so the gambler doesn't push himself beyond limits.

To me? no. this doesn't affect me in any way shape or form, but it should matter to YOU son! You gotta get yourself a girl m8, or like maybe find some other friends who don't spend all their time at the casino. Maybe just put a pause on the casino and try the library for once? Much quiter there, and they definitely don't condone gambling there as most people are nose in book and trying to focus on doing something that could actually help you out someday like gaining knowledge or studying a learned skill.

Not really because I don't think I have the same goal as you. It seems like you want to make money from gambling but on a continuous basis, and I think that's what leads you to lose almost every time. Besides, with sports betting still, what do you expect to get out of games of chance? Get lucky and double your bet? It's a good system for losing everything. The amount per stake is the only one in my plan.
I don't think much about the others, so I often don't include them in my plans.
In response to the title, no matter how long you gamble, no gambler can avoid losing, players will always experience both wins and losses.

Yes, it's really hard to move on if we think on how much we've lost in gambling. Maybe at the back of our minds we have the numbers. And then we understand what went wrong and analyse just like what the OP did. But at some point in our gambling journey, we will forget it again and again and only realised our mistakes when our bankroll was depleted and we don't have any money to gamble again. Maybe it's time to quit for good or rest maybe in couple of days and think. Or we can go and deposit continue to play and forget what happened to us in the past. I believe we've been in this game more than each other and of course, the experience we have is not the same but is there anyone who can boast of being professional in this game? Being professional means being skillful and expert in betting and by that expert, I expect you not to lose money anymore. But in the long run, we all lose money at a time. So I wonder what being professional means in this aspect if you can still lose money.

Professional means that you should be making your money from that. Meaning if you are a professional gambler that means you make your income from gambling and if you can keep making enough to make a living out of it then it won't be a huge problem for you and most people will end up with something much better.

It's clear that we are not going to get anything done that much, it's going to create a situation where gamblers are usually losing because that's what the math is telling us.
