Why I keep losing in gambling, even after years of experience

I cannot win at gambling if I only have experience. Gambling does not depend only on experience but also on luck. Many times we use our long experience to get promotions in the job field and our status increases but in the case of gambling, no matter how long you have experience, that experience will not give you any results. Rather, if you have good luck, you can get profit, if your luck is not in your favor, you will face losses.
I have a long experience of watching cricket and I have won many matches by using my experience but two days ago in this T20 World Cup match between South Africa and India I had bet on India as the winning team but this experience of mine did not give me results rather I lost my bet that day. So even though experience works sometimes you may not get the right result in gambling.

Personally, i don't have any specific rules like this. I gamble based solely on instinct, whether it's increasing my bet or stopping with a profit/loss. The only thing i set is a gambling budget that i prepare in advance.

Well I think you need to work on it because it's important for us to always have discipline while gambling because that's exactly the best way to overcome frequent losses in gambling.

The main thing is that you have to know when to enter, how much time you will stay, and when to leave. But you may get stuck in greed and revenge, and that's why you can't adhere to your own rules. So I think you should work on the 1 and 3 rule and practice it again and again until you think about it before entering any game.

I'm just coming out of days of losing streak, more than two weeks of steady losses if I'm mot mistaken. The most painful part is that the games I trust the most have been the ones spoiling my ticket and what saved me was that I have ran low on funds and I was also able to manage my risk properly. Today is the first time I'm recording some winnings as I played England amateur league and I hope the days of pain have ended for real. Losing bet does not care about how many years of being in the business, it is part of the process.

Your experience about the bet you lost only confirms why experience matter less when gambling is concerned.... Am surely not against folks gathering some level of experience in gambling, but they have to be aware that, that experience alone won't guarantee them a constant win, since gamblingg is a game which is mostly decide by luck... Having good experience in gambling can be helpful but no matter how experienced or good an analyst one is, it does not guarantee winning because his decision depends on probability. Suppose there is a cricket match between two teams but even if one team has a higher overall score, there is no guarantee that they will perform well in all the consecutive matches as they may make small mistakes in their strategy or performance due to which the result can change so the result can never be said for sure. And the result is not controlled based on the experience of a person.

The first mistake you made is increasing your stake after making profit, this is something that can make you lose more in the long run. After making profit you might start feeling invincible and want to overbet but you must always be disciplined enough to be in control, winning doesn't mean that you can always continue to have the same results this is why you should always maintain a particular amount that's moderate as your stake even when you are in profit. ‎I agree with you, Experience can make you understand something's like players patterns, but still it can never make you profitable. The level uncertainty is very high. let's say in sport betting  you bet on this game like Girona vs Barcelona, Barcelona is the bigger and stronger team , so you decide to place your bet on Barcelona to win base on your experience. But the game ended with Girona winning by 2 goals. You can see that experience doesn't help win  this game, it only improves your chances. It's only luck that someone needs in gambling. This is why it’s important to bet carefully and accept that losses are part of it. In gambling, probability always has the final say.

Whatever you do, treat gambling as entertainment and see if you can get it right. When you start gambling and win you must not be too greedy whenever you become too greedy and want to take part in gambling repeatedly you will lose money because being overly greedy is not a good sign at all it is a sign of gambling addiction. Also you said losing causes more rush which keeps you away from correct predictions. You can have all the expereince you think that you need to make profit but that doesn't mean that you are not going to lose, this is totally inevitable. But i guess your years of experience must have taught you a lot and also helped you to understand what responsible gambling is all about. This is the reason why we have to be discipline in whatever we do . If you where discipline you would have know when to stop and not trying to recover losses . Gambling is all about uncertainty, so you can’t expect to keep losing vice visa .

In such cases the smart thing to do is try  all means to fight the urge of gambling too frequent . You should focus more on building better risk management plans .

In gambling, luck is the major factor to win. Hence, regardless of having plan or not when you gamble, as long as you're luck then you'll win. Years of experience is not the basis to say you'll now a profitable gambler since you know how it works. Having a plan and strategy might be an advantage, but self-control is more crucial.
