Nice graphical information, I think it is not just survival in the bear market that enables an investor to own the bull market.  It makes more sense if investors accumulate more BTC during this market discount.  So buying more BTC in the bear market means getting BTC at a lower price, and if planned to sell them on the bull market, will enable them to profit way more than just hodling the owned BTC and dare not to buy more.

For a relatively inexperience me I needed to see  a thing of this sketching with provision of tips on how to survive what is looking like my first bitcoin bear market experience in the forum.

Generally for all traditional assets investment it is a prerequisite to have a steady income that can be a pillar to lean on while patiently waiting on when your investment to ripened.

Self custody - is something everyone should practice at all times

No Leverage - even in a Bull market. The market doesnt just constantly move in one direction,
there are always 'corrections' which kill leverage trades

Steady Income - again if its steady its during a Bull market too and not seasonal.

Low Time Preference - yup this also applies to anytime, having a long term outlook is necessary.

DCA Discipline - this is not specifically designed for a Bear market, its for every time.

Zero Panic - is actually relevant to the Bear market because its the newbies who panic and they
need to learn more essentials before getting into Bitcoin.

Good sketch and they're true. What we need to have during the bear market is stable income. I guess that the majority here are employed and are working with their day jobs.

And so, that's already enough to survive the bear market and you don't have to rely on your bitcoin holdings. It's also a mistake to rely your daily living with your holdings.

You can look at it once in a while but the goal is to hold it for the longer term. You'll need to sustain your other stuff from your source of income like employment and not with selling some of your bitcoin holdings.
