AI has come to make people become lazy

I was using one of the AI tools to do some graphic design and it came out so beautiful as a result. I was very happy with the result I got through AI because creating it, it wasn't stressful and the result was productive.

 Normally, if you give me a computer device to do graphic design I wont be able to perform it better but with AI it was success. Since AI can give me good graphic design, I dont think it will have that urge to go learn graphic design.  I think AI already have the result of what people are supposed to do with their hands. There wont be reason to learn or to work because AI can give people what they want without stress.

We live in an era where technological advancements has made a lot of things easier for us and before we talk about the demerits let's also consider the fact that Ai has made a lot of things we do now much lighter and efficient but you have a point, people are no longer seeing the need to engage in certain things because there's an easier way to get the work done. perhaps it's not laziness, people are just taking advantage ot tech.

The use of AI is not for us to be lazy, but if we choose such as our own personal path to follow, then we might have been missing out of the opportunities coming along with the use of this advanced technology, because I see many having opportunities from it because the maximize their potentials and learn more about the imagine trends, this is not a term for us to sit back and keep operating under the former or existing protocols, instead, there's a need for more upgrades to be done and we have to be fully aware of this as an opportunity that could pave way over our own professional career.

However, some people rely on it too much, which makes them lazy. For example, I once encountered a case where someone who worked at a company had the task of making a presentation, but because he was lazy, he asked AI to make it for him. Although it worked, not all bosses would like the results of AI's work.

There are many impacts that can be obtained from the existence of AI, one of which is that people become lazy, I agree with you, such as the many garbage posts made by members on the forum that make this forum no longer natural as a result of their own thoughts and writings, this is nothing but using AI because they are lazy to think and write, and like your case, doing work is easier by using AI by just writing a few words to make it, And the positive impact in other fields is that we can work faster to get data and sentence structure that is more understandable, especially those that are already available in multiple languages so that it is also interesting as a discussion partner, with the existence of AI we are required to work faster and better, this depends on the users themselves to be able to have an impact on being lazy or working better with the presence of AI now.

Okay I get your point but the only thing that I see here is that Ai can change motivation and not skills because if someone becomes too lazy the hunger to struggle and learn will also reduce but looking from the bright side you see Ai can't replace human sense on creativity because is still we humans that do give them instructions on what to do, like you made mentioned that you were the one that asked the Ai to give you a good graphic design what am trying to say here is that Ai can not replace human creativity and decisions fully.

It can give quick results but it got it directions from a human, and if Ai is been used as a helper what it does it only boost ability and if it's efforts is been replaced completely then this is where the laziness comes in. So what  matters most is how we use it that will determine if it's helping us or makes us lazy.

Hm, AI can't do that... how can AI give people what they want? I guess you gave AI too much power, but it's just a tool that can help with some things.

And I am not sure how to understand "there won't be a reason to learn or work"... you will either find motivation for that (learn, work, earn, live), and AI can help you in achieving that. In the end, it's something we all face at some points in life... we try to be better by using what we can, or we simply surrender and stay where we are (or fall).

Op, Your point highlights the reality of AI based conflicts and its true that with the help of AI tools there are useful results can be produced so people thinks that they don't need to learn hard skills. So when tough tasks like writing and design become easy than make efforts automatically decrease and its stop the independence growth. And its important to understand that laziness not comes with technology but its comes with misuses of it the reason behind is that AI act as adaptive tool like its friendly for creativity and reduce stress. With AI, some assistant jobs are much easier, I don't have to pay other people if I need an assistant for scheduling and my monthly financial records, just AI can produce the same output, plus they can provide references and also provide cool suggestions and input when asked, this makes my teaching job much easier, making educational modulation also good.

Lazy people are just basically lazy, they don't want to do anything else after completing the first task with the help of AI, especially later if there is a humanoid AI that can help even more, will he know just sleep, eat and defecate?

What this just means is that some skills will no longer be reasonable to focus on learning on the level you wanted to learn them before, now it will be better to learn some other skills because you will not be able to compete with AI, or learn the skill on a level that AI cannot completely make you irrelevant.

One skill that you could learn @OP, is a much better use of AI because there are many AI tools that is doing a lot. AI mastery will keep you in demand because that is a skill gaining attention.

Most art are still very obvious that they’re made by AI. Companies who use AI for art are lazy and trying to get the work cheaper. No doubt AI will develop more and it’ll be harder to separate it from real art. Though this might make artists a lot more expensive, it will mean art from real artists would be a little more valuable.

That's technology advancement for us, and as we evolved, in the next ten years or so, we might see more AI that will really help humans and we might think that we could be the one being obsolete. I know it sound crazy or something and we only see this in movies, but who knows, the future could really look bright for AI and bad for humans. In any case, we still have options. If we don't want to used them then simply don't. But if you think that it can really help you out like in the graphic design, then by all means used it. But you should have some sort of boundaries and not really rely on them. Stress should be part of human lives, learn how to get over with it. Because with that theory, maybe in the future, humans doesn't need to be educate like going to school as they will just AI to do everything for them.

I do not think AI has made "people" if you are generalizing lazy. I would say that it has reveal people's laziness. If you use it well and within the boundaries of whatever you do, it has the power effect of making you highly productive and efficient finishing jobs in almost half the time. However, I would say that what i have noticed is that AI would affect most people's creativity. Raw talents that should come from within will the suppressed because the individual believes that AI has better creative capabilities than them.
And we should know that all not businesses need AI and some business that need AI should not delegate or automate all their work processes especially if you are in the service business which needs a touch of humanness.

In fact, just as AI has made our work much easier, AI has also made us very lazy. All the tasks that we are solving in an instant with AI, if AI had not been created, we would have created all those tasks with our intelligence and when we solved many complex tasks with our intelligence, we would not have become lazy. Anyway, this is also a scientific discovery where we can proudly say that we are living in an era where everything is possible in an instant.
