Normally, if you give me a computer device to do graphic design I wont be able to perform it better but with AI it was success. Since AI can give me good graphic design, I dont think it will have that urge to go learn graphic design.  I think AI already have the result of what people are supposed to do with their hands. There wont be reason to learn or to work because AI can give people what they want without stress.

If AI helps you create good design without technical skill, that is leverage but the taste, the direction and creativity and strategic thinking still has to come from you. The person who understands design principles will always use AI better than the person who doesn’t, simple and short. AI is a tool, not a replacement for human judgment, so instead of killing the urge to learn, it should push you to learn at a higher level like concept, storytelling, branding and positioning, because ultimately the people who combine skill with AI will always outperform those who just press generate.

Nowadays, due to Artificial Intelligence, people are able to learn about various subjects with very little time and effort. If you want to learn any information and anything, if you ask AI, it will answer you very easily and you will understand it very easily. There may be some truth as to why AI may be seen as a tool for lazy people, but one fact is that AI is revolutionary and it is creating new fields and displacing or upgrading older fields that would have normally become obsolete.
Ai makes work interesting if you do know how to use it, and as at 2026, AI skills are mostly a prerequisite for landing some major and even minor job roles in almost any sector where it can be effectively integrated.

What nonsense are you talking about? You proclaim that it is "working smartly" to be unable to do basic research, write a medium length email on your own or do a presentation? That is what the use of such tools does to people like that. It does not make them smarter, it makes them dumber and they are already lacking very basic and important skills as it is. If it makes something Easy means it's solving a problem means it has accomplished it's goal of making things Easier. It will be a huge advantage for many people and Humans will advance with it, with the things people had to waste most of their time now they can save that time and do a more important and productive thing in the extra time. It's true most people will just use it as a shortcut and cover up their laziness with Ai but it won't for long and people's competency will be checked according to that and People unable to fit in those perimeters will have to Suffer. On the one hand what you say is true AI makes humans lazier and less productive. On the other hand AI is incredibly helpful and makes tasks easier and faster. So, it really depends on each individual use of AI technology whether it will make them smarter or lazier or whether AI will actually make humans smarter and humans dumber.

Currently with AI many people are using it effectively for example by assigning AI tasks to perform human tasks. They start by collecting data, analyzing it and converting it into a readable format so AI can answer the questions. Many people are even using AI as a confidant or counselor because it can validate the user's thoughts and feelings. So, while AI has the potential to make people lazier it can also make them more creative and productive.

There graphic design you made with Ai must be for your own pleasure. Are you just doing graphic design for you to admire or do you get hired as a graphic designer.

You are making yourself a dependant. Controlled by companies who can change terms whenever they wish. They can increase prices they can close down they can say you don't get access anymore. When you have skills (actual skills you've learned and internalized) you have bargaining power. You have options. You can negotiate. You own something that isn't something that can be taken away by a terms of service update.

"Without stress". A lot of work is going on there for that phrase. Because yeah, learning is stressful. Creating is stressful. Struggling with something difficult is uncomfortable by definition. But is stress free consumption really what man needs? Or do we need the friction? There's research to suggest that humans need a challenge to make them feel alive. Not constant suffering, but of experiencing the process of working towards something, of becoming competent at something that was once hard.

Maybe we get better outputs yeah. But do we get better humans? Do we get to people who know themselves, who have confidence in their own capabilities, who know that they have the capacity to affect the world directly?

I have used these AI but just to test them out like how they work and you are right the result is exceptional. Anyone with little knowledge of graphic designing can create their banners, or YouTube thumnails, or they can do a lot of things. But if you want to contrinute working as graphic desinger you need to learn the Adobe Photosho, and Illustrator along with some other apps too.

Because you can create image on canva, on AI, on PS, but which platform you are going to choose depends on the client, if they want to print it for their business and other platforms you need to give them the ps file so AI can give you an idea of the design but the image created from canva or AI is not enough.
But is this topic relevant to this thread, you did not even touch the economic part yet. Does it eat jobs, I don't think so but only of those who were selling their services for $5

This isn't just AI, every invention we have made has given us convenience which has made us lazy. When we were a cavemen we used to create fire but now it's just a rotation of a knob, which means even fire made us lazy and the same applies to vehicles, any tools, instruments and technological advancement so the AI is next in line to make us lazier.

I was watching this AI film where Wu Kong was fighting with Thanos on X. The video was made by seedance, it's an AI company that build that app. For 45 seconds, I couldn't tell if the video was real and was fake, lol and behold algorithm show me another post complaining how some Hollywood actors were complaining how AI is going to kill creativity in acting and I said no lies. This AI thing is getting out of hand, there should be some limitations.

The other months, it was an AI app that helps one bypassed KYC verification, that software was too perfect in the sense that I'm not sure if there is any anti AI detection out there that will stop that very soon. The team might have it but I doubt if they are going to allow such to destroy their years of development of the app. Creativity is what I fear, it will be zero if AI is been abuse and used for the things human should do, maybe even affect some peoples career.

This world is now in a global village, technology has taken over everything we are doing it comes to make some works simpler, easier, and faster, but at the same time it replaces so many people in their jobs because AI can now do them better with perfection than human and this has been alarming because so many people are losing their jobs since AI can do them faster and more accurate than them. Nevertheless, I agree with you that it makes people to be very lazy even in schools; students don’t bother going to library to check and read books, they rely on AI to solve the problem easily and more explanatory. New technology is not what makes people lazy, it is standing still or not using up the free time that greater productivity tools unlock. I have experienced this in people around me, who now throw everything through AI which looks so predictable and identifiable - they're rarely bothering the write anything themselves now which is really noticeable and something that I dislike. I even see prompts like [enter name here] which shows how little they care about communication or actually proof reading the content they are sharing, it is actually quite unprofessional because that sort of error might eventually leak out in front of a client. As long as people are willing to sense check content produced by AI and don't automatically assume it is correct, then there are benefits to be had.

Lazy in terms of doing some jobs but not lazy in overall life activities, definitely people will become dependant on AI but not lazy to do things, whatever AI can't do  people will do it manually and whatever that requires manual input people will still find the need to it themselves. One thing you must know is that technology changes how people act in the world of influences the actions of people but it has a social construct in the sense that we decided how to use them and not AI deciding for us, if you say no to AI design you will have to do it manually, in my opinion it's going to be an option.

I believe there's always room for learning. I also use artificial intelligence to automate some of my daily activities, but I don't fully trust the work it does; I always like to review it, and most of the time there's something to correct. Creating images and even websites has been made easier by AI, but if you don't know what you want, everything becomes the same, the same pattern, and in the end you don't stand out.

AI is a more advanced tool that has helped in making things easier for this generation. But just depending on AI only without putting in the best of efforts into making sure that you’re given it the right command, it’ll so doom you and give you not the best result you wish to have or the outcome of the prompt you actually want to give to the AI. AI will still make people to be lazy regardless because it has helped to simplify a lot of ambiguous process we may be passing through but if you overwhelm yourself on it, you’ll most definitely become very lazy and not get to take the best part in the most advantageous way needed for this. AI is a tool for the good for us and also for the bad when misused.
