My own opinion is, focus on the ongoing accumulation of Bitcoin, and accumulate Bitcoin as much as you can using the DCA method and then hold for long term. Trading is very risky, it can only cause you more harm than good. people have lost hudge amount of money to trading and up til now they haven't recovered half of the money they lost to trading. So if you want to profit from Bitcoin just focus on long term holding, buy and hold don't trade for your own mental health.

I agree with you trading bitcoin is very risky and so anyone who is involved in trading bitcoin is risking his money. It is better to involve yourself in accumulating bitcoin and holding for a very long time because it helps in avoiding bitcoin risk I’m not saying that there’s no risk in those who involve themselves in long time bitcoin investment there is risk over there too but the risk there is low and that is why it is more better than trading.
I also agree with you that one can save his mental health when he’s investing in bitcoin for a long term, if you are a trader, you agree with me that your mental health will be affected, especially when you are new in trading however, when you have been trading for a very long time, you can maintain yourself and you won’t be having mental issues.

first of all this topic doesn't belong here, it belongs to the trading discursion board. there will be very nice to shear this idea with your fellow traders but not here. this place is a place for bitcoin discursion and not trading. and i will even advice you to leave trading for now since you are confused weather to trade or not . trading requires a lot of skill and if you are not well knowledgeable you might lose a lot especially this period. my advice is that you should meet with people who are expert in trading maybe they can guide you properly and that will be in the trading discursion board.

That is the fact anyone who is skeptical about trading may be due to lack of sufficient knowledge and understanding when it comes to trading of Bitcoin. Bitcoin trading is not something everyone should go into because, it involves a level of skills and technical in dept which will involve you to have a trading psychology and culture. What you actually need for a start of trading is actually wisdom, knowledge and more to fully understand what you are doing before seeking advise from external traders.

Knowledge is important for every trader but I'm still thinking that what type of wisdom a trader needs to make good and profitable trades? I mean any good trader with knowledge and experience can take profit from the market and even the ones without wisdom can also make profit from the market without any issues. Seeking advice from other traders is okay for beginners but once someone learns and understands the market then there's no need to seek any kind of advice.

Wisdom I mean is that, getting to figure out a unique distinctive personal solutions towards trading yk, there may be a method nobody uses to navigate profits off trading, and such strategy can only be given by God, which is the wisdom I am talking about. When a trader reaches this level of understanding the market acquired through knowledge, consistent trying triggers the higher self to figure a unique way that nobody knows, that's wisdom.

Trading requires bravery and experience but it is highly doubtful that you will not make profit most of the time. You do not know whether the price will increase or decrease tomorrow. You can only guess and decide whether it is worth buying or not. Just as there is a difference between the two words investment and trading, there is a huge difference in reality. Trading is short term where a trader buys when the price decreases and sells when the price increases. Since it is not possible to predict where the market will go in the future, trading is very risky and there is a possibility of losing wealth.

Investment is a long term strategy and since you are aware of the price graph of Bitcoin, I would say invest for the long term instead of short term trading. Use dollar cost averaging or DCA method through discretionary income to accumulate Bitcoin. By long term time frame means you would consider a period of 4-10 years.

The decline is very natural in bitcoin but it is precisely when the decline that the opportunity comes to those who do not yet have bitcoin, with the decline making us able to get low prices, but yes we know that many people have fear when entering the actual market decline phase at this time is the time to enter and courage must be capital in situations like now to accumulate more bitcoin, I don't understand how people think otherwise, when bullish they fomo when bearish they panic, this is what makes them never get the benefits of investing in bitcoin.

The goal of trading is to make a profit. The biggest risk of misreading market movements is losing money.
When it comes to Bitcoin, my advice is not to trade it, but to buy and hold. Buy regularly without waiting for a low price, because analyzing what constitutes a “low price” leads to delays. When delays occur, that’s where you fall behind.

Especially with Bitcoin, if you want to step back from trading, I think that’s the right decision. What I hope for is that Bitcoin is invested in.

Based on the number of traders in the world, and the timeframe since trading came into existence, I don't think there can be a strategy that hasn't yet been discovered because there are so many experts of the markets in the world, and when someone understands so much about the market, it's not possible for them not to think about different ways of making profits off of the markets, and if there are loopholes that can serve as strategies to gain higher profits, those professionals or experts would have surely found them by now.

I understand your point, and I'm not saying that this is impossible, but I'm just saying that when a field become too saturated, almost every possible thing or way in that field that we can think of must have already been found by someone else, it's just that maybe we don't know that yet. Have you ever wondered why there is always an answer to every problem we face when we Google about it? it's because someone else have had the same issue before us, and they asked the question before we did it. That's how the trading sphere also is.

All you need to know to be bold whenever the market is not looking favourable for you to trade, you can exercise patient for the price to increase to Some stage that will make you believe, if you trade it will cost you huge income, never you want to learn in the process of trading because it will cost you a lot of loss that will make you believe that is very difficult to earn income from bitcoin trading which is not true, when you develop more knowledge on bitcoin trading it will make you to understand when to trade to earn little and when to trade to earn huge income which is the kind of knowledge majority of bitcoin traders want to have before approaching bitcoin trading.

No one knows if the bitcoin price will go up or down at a particular time. If we knew, we will all become rich overnight.
So, to succeed in the bitcoin market, you don't guess. If you guess, it means that you are gambling. In order to predict the direction of the market, you should be aware of;

• The technical environment: Here you know your chart, candle sticks and study patterns
• The fundamental environment: Here you become aware of the socio-political happenings that drives the market.

Apart from the above, you should also be logical, patient and have risk management abilities.

So, the market is not something you embrace without knowing what you are doing. I might tell you that bitcoin is going to $100k and another man will tell you it is going to $50k, it's left for you to do your own research and make decisions.

For trading i believe you traders especially those of them that are newbies into it are always afraid of everything but however bitcoin is not really seen in such sense over here in the forum, even though we have traders here, there are terms that you could use to express what you meant exactly but however, since its general bitcoin of course is not on the lane of going to zero anymore in this life time for me but however you should know that even if you don't sell now you will make more profit than sell because bitcoin just went below 70k which before now it was above that, infact in my opinion you should not even trade in the first place if this is your mentality.

This is why a lot of people here have been saying buying and holding for a long term is the best option a person can do. Look at your situation now, you can't decide your next plan due to price fluctuations. You will then stay glued, watching the market everytime which causes emotional damage, fatigue and lack of control which can lead someone into making wrong decisions that leads to losses. Well everyone has their choices. But for me I stay on the buying and holding path. Steady accumulation consistently can increase your position over time which gives you enough gain in the long run. With  reduction of risk of losing money, and avoiding short term noises.

Here’s some better advice on trading for those with limited knowledge and experience. Those with trading experience might also want to avoid taking Bitcoin trading too seriously and instead use Bitcoin primarily for buying and holding as a long-term investment.
Treating Bitcoin as an investment that you never touch is very useful when needed, and I agree with that.
Another thing I’ve noticed is that Bitcoin will always retain its value even when market prices are volatile.

It takes both courage, discipline and wisdom to trade both Bitcoin and other financial assets tradable in the financial market. Trading can come with some emotional attachment such that if you do not have the courage and discipline to handle it, you may not be able to take a trade and  then if you have the courage, it will also require you have some really tough disciplined mind not to get carried away with and by the emotional instability that will come with trading due to the fluctuations you will get to experience in the market.  You do not have to wait to be too sure as you can never be too sure about the direction of the market for you to take a trade, just place a trade you have some level of confidence in based on the fact it meets your parameters for entry.
