You people really need to understand that this life is by theory. The reality, especially in Nigeria, is very different from talking on paper. Half of Nigerians are poor. I mean the average income of the country is currently not up to $1000 dollar per year.
People who are that poor will find it hard to have investmnet becasue they focus more on how to take care of themselves at the moment.
Even if they save up and have an investment, it will take another level of discipline for them not to sell it when responsibility comes.

My bitcoin holding is about $1000 short because I kept selling it last year. This is not because I sell to "enjoy myself", but there were issues I couldn't avoid. The most recent one was my close freind that needed money to pay his school fees before the deadline. He is in his final year, and if he doesn't pay, he would have to forfeit and repeat the year. There was no other place I could get that kind of money aside sellling my bitcoin, because there is no way I can sit down and watch a person I love repeat a whole year for money that I have. What kind of person does that make me?

So when you people talk about these things, try to remember that reality is not black or white.

Yep it can surely be argued that the rich invest readily compared to the poor due to presence of large income at their disposal which is some sort of investment motivation, but I know investment ability is more on the personality and drive of the concerned person whether he is rich or poor. Not all rich people actually invest profitably, some are rich but have poor mentality and go around lavishing their funds and still end up poor.

I don't think OP necessarily meant rich and poor people in their post, their whole right up is more about people with unique mentality patterns, according to them the rich minded people are those who don't just think about the immediate moment in front of them but rather about the rest of their lives starting from that moment while the poor minded ones are only bothered about what's in front of them without any care in the world for how their lives will unravel depending on the decisions they make now. Whether they are financially rich or not is not the point, it's all about their mindset.

I have a strong belief that how people think about money is the main factor when it comes to investing. It is not even how much you are earning,  it's just the way you think the moment that money enters your hand. I have understand that if you do not train your mindset on how you think about money,  then money will control you rather than you controlling money.

There are people that when they see money,  they only think about improving their standard of living and then, there are others who see money and start thinking of opportunity to make that money work for them. In my opinion, the poor and rich people mindset depends on their income, many individuals do not have the same income, which is why they find it difficult to invest in something for a long time. Poor people go for something that will bring a quick gains, like short term investment or one kind of Ponzi scheme that can change their life forever. well said but i disagree with you on some points, i vividly know some people who are ppoor buy luxury just to look rich, do you also belive some poor  people who have little to invest in bitcoin probably using USING DCA method won't invest because of the bad news people circulate about bitcoin make them scared, making them feel they are going to loose the money they are managing or should i say using for survival, to me i believe poor people should be given proper orientation when it comes to bitcoin investment
