I don’t think it’s bad, but I do think it’s quite dangerous. The problem lies in false hopes that gradually turn into illusions and obsessive ideas. A person starts trying to solve all their problems through the idea of a life-changing win, but that never actually happens. Over time, they stop rationally recognizing that the chances of such a win are extremely low, and even then it doesn’t mean those chances will fall to them specifically.

This leads people to see things through rose-colored glasses and believe that the more they play, the higher their chances of winning become, when in reality it’s the opposite.

This whole thing is a coincidence. You had a toy robot, then your luck was working in your favor, it was actually nothing more than a coincidence. I also noticed one thing . the day I bet on that day my mind is good, it feels completely mind refreshing then somehow i win on that day. I agree with you on this. These things help  us to increase our confidence at times. They are not very useful. But if we believe in them strongly then it helps in boosting our confidence. Both of you point out a crucial fact about gambling. it is more controlled than by chance. Although it is normal to be optimistic about a huge victory it is easy to make poor decisions based on this expectation and to chase losses emotionally. Fortune is something we can never gain or control. and it is better to be smart by practicing discipline. limit bank roll. be willing to lose. and being able to take responsibility of losses. Indeed, but chances could be affected or improved.
