I usually prefer to use Dark Mode if presented as an option.  It is way cooler and does not hurt the eye if stared at for too long.  Aside from that, you should also consider the color combination. I read that dark gray is good since pure black is harsh for the eyes.

Just like the earlier reply, it is indeed that the light version somehow makes my view blurry, but switching to dark mode seems eye-friendly.

Yes, it is for the mobile users. I love the dark themse simply for the Asthetic reason but doctors and experts always claim that reducing the blue light will reduce the affect on eyes with long watch hours so people who gamble for hours can still see after few years if you have dark mode in your site.

I always keep the dark mode on my mobile, it is my favorite. But in some cases I turn it off. I never like to gamble in casinos, although I play very rarely, but even then I keep the dark mode on. I have seen people in my area who always play casino with the dark mode on. I once asked them why they do this, they told me that their eyes are less strained and they start playing with greater concentration. They told me that when their eyes are strained, they often lose their minds.

It depends on the UI's color scheme. Sometimes, too dark does not feel good. The text and the UI should be clean and smooth for the readers on a website like yours. I just checked again, and it seems you are doing well already. Don't think too much about it. There are different types of people, and their choices are different. Some may prefer dark mode, while others may prefer light mode. Just don't make the dark mode too dark.

I see some people suggested using the Black and green combination. However, I would say you should choose on your own. Make sure the content is still readable even after switching the modes.

I will give you an idea.

You can tweak night and day mode to be automatic. That is, it switches to the different mode based on the time of the day. And then users can customize the settings if they do not prefer the automatic switch.

I don't know if you already thought about it, but it is worth considering.

There are some good benefit to using the dark mode in apps and websites, that's the reason some people prefer using it to the normal light or day mode. One benefit aside it eye friendliness is it lowers power consumption, and over time helps maintain battery life.

There are people who have the day mode as their best option, they do not mind the power consumption or the effect on their eyes. Because these two kinds of people exist, it is good to have the two options or any app you are developing or website you are building.

I do use dark mode if it is offered, in fact, one of the things that I look for in a casino is their eye friendly UI color schemes. Looking at a screen with bright light for long periods of time hurts my eyes, and dark mode or dark/soft colors helps with that issue.

Also, there are members of this forum who created scripts that allow them to use dark mode because the forum doesn't have that feature, so yeah, there are people who look for it.

I always appreciate when a website is available in Dark Mode. It isn’t a deal breaker for me if it doesn’t, but especially when I am using my phone at night, dark mode is a nice feature. I’m actually surprised it isn’t built into browsers as it seems like a fairly simple option to implement.

If the UI design is good and not too annoying for the eyes, then I don't change it. I usually use the default on gambling sites. Because I only enter the gambling site when I place a bet. I don't worry much about it once the bet is over. But a user should know it's good and bad points. If necessary, then it is better to change it. I always prefer the dark mood. If for some reason I make a change, I try to revert it back after a while.

Good for the eyes especially if you're working at night. It's pretty chill and not aggressive, you can also use simple colors with the dark mode. It'll make you feel comfortable and can stay long for how many hours due to relaxing colors in the eyes. Idk, but I feel stress when working with a bright UI, even though I don't have any eyesight problems and of course as a gambling platform, the UI will be the first one to set the mood for the players, if they feel comfortable, the more they will stay longer. But some prefer Light so adding an option is a good idea.

Dark mode is not necessarily a must have for me but I would always appreciate the option to have a dark mode if available. I think it's a good addition and I'm quite certain there are people that would actually use it if available. I know i would.
I do use dark mode regularly on some apps that has the feature on my mobile as I find that it helps with the eyes as you wouldn't need to constantly be looking at a brightly lit screen all the time. The dark mode is more relaxing to the eyes and I think it looks nice and doesn't get ignored as a lot of people I know actually prefer the dark mode on their mobile.

I use dark mode at everything I can, and I think its awful when a website does not offer this feature (like here on bitcointalk
In some cases, I even use a Grasemonkey extension to invert the colors with scripts.

Dark mode is less tiring on the eyes and allow me to focus more in what matters, since the rest is "neutral". I think this is quite important for gambling games as well because it keeps us more focused on the bets.

But the problem is when the game itself has so much visual information unnecessary that it ends up make dark mode practically useless... there is no point in implementing a dark mode if the interface of game can almost "blind" us with your animations. For me, the more minimalist the better... focus on what is important.

Dark mode is a must nowadays for web pages and apps. It assists saving battery on smartphones and relaxing our eyes when browsing during the night time. And once you get bored of it, you can adjust the settings to normal mode again. Not that it's going to be a determining factor for people when choosing between your service and a competitor one, but it's a welcome extra feature, anyway.

Dark mode is very important and without the platform offering this feature, this is something by our own self we can determine to set from our device because it really goes a long way in providing solution to those that have eye defects, which I know that when some gamblers discover days with a platform, they may decided to use them because of that future they provide.

I use both actually. When I'm on my mobile device, I'm mostly using dark mode at medium brightness (for everything), can't really turn on light theme as it's like a massive flashlight flashing towards me. As for desktop, at night it's dark + eye saver on, and at day it's light. I'm also using a UV light + photosun protected glasses every time I'm on PC. Started using these when I was having difficulties with my eyes, tears would drop continuously, and my eyes became dry, irritated. So later, I found I had an eye problem, and doc suggested using these.

So to answer your question, if you are heavily using these specially at night, dark theme should be a must (as well as some protective gears).

Your platform has done the right thing by adding dark mode for night users, as well as having another mode for daylight users. This make your casino more eye-friendly and will keep your players longer than expected. If you notice, a lot of gambler's sometimes quit because of eye strain from screen light when they stay long on a game, but with dark mode, players can adjust it to suit their preferred eye conditions.

Personally I don't have to wait to my eye also got defect before taken the necessary steps, we have to understand the benefits of using the eye protector screen and this is very important to help reduce the ray of light going directly into our eyes, if we look at most of the gambling casinos we are going to see that the eventually use dark theme or something related to dark color instead of pure white as background or in their major platform user interface.

So some gamblers diligently appreciate dark mode when gambling and can help retain some users to a platform by this alone, because some people spend a lot of time on their screen and the only way to prevent them from being affected is through the use of dark mode.

I use dark mode whether it is offered or not, but I prefer when it is offered because it reduces the stress of having to find a means to use it..

Everyone has their choice, but there are "dark mode bros" who feel more comfortable using dark mode over light. For example, all my device browsers, SMS, apps, and websites are mostly in dark mode. Even my room is in dark mode ..just kidding , but yeah! dark mode is essential. It feels comfortable to some people, while it could still be the opposite for some at the same time.
