Is Dark Mode a "must-have" for you?

Currently almost every individual that I know has their phones on dark mode, and this settings usually affects all the applications or websites they visit and more like me I have my settings set as use phone setting as default, it doesn’t matter what I’m doing I use it frequently, so dark mode is one feature that most people use it has never been ignored in my opinion so it’s quite important and I have seen new casinos that light and dark mode is a suggestion for them by its testers or users.

Dark mode is my favorite color for every website, be it gambling site or marketplace, wherever. Night mode gives the safest and coolest experiences so far. Sometimes I always wonder if dark mode can bring lots of winning by a gambler, if a player has such believe though, lol

Dark mood is my favorite settings for websites that I visit frequently but if I don't use the site always, the default theme is okay, the browser I'm using also have a settings for a dark mood and it automatically gives a dark theme to the website I'm browsing. Everyone have their different preferences, to 10 persons it might not matter to them because they are just neutral but for other 20 people, they want to have that dark them, so it is important to have it.

For Dark mode, it is a very good feature that I recommend for every website or application. I don’t usually remember to toggle to night mode when I am using a website or application that has such feature, unless that’s the default settings it comes with, I don’t remember to toggle off and on between them until when prompted. It is not a must have for me, but I recommend every website or application to have it because people do embrace those features and stick to it as much as they can because of the health benefits of it to the eyes.

There is no single type of gambler, so offering a lot of options will give you a wide market. In fact, dark mode is good for many gamblers; many prefer it because it's soothing and relaxing to the eyes, and it can boost a player's mood. When a player is in a good mood, they will likely play longer. You will make the platform a true entertainment portal.
Color has a huge impact on our mood, and once a gambler sees how good the dashboard is and is looking for excitement, you have given him what he wanted.

My phone is always on dark mode by default. Sometimes there are apps or sites which I visit, and they will ask if I'm to continue with my phone's background sitting. Dark mode is just a feature I prefer using even if everyone doesn't like it. I prefer it being made available to those who will like to use it and those who don't like it can just ignore it.

Not really, because I don’t use that feature very much, but there are still a lot of players who prefer playing in dark mode, especially at night. So, just add that feature for them. Although I don’t use it that much, I think it is a must-have feature. Nowadays, even different apps have dark mode because they know others prefer it, probably to reduce eye strain. It helps others stay for a longer session.

Believe it or not, yes.
To me having access to dark mode is actually important, because I usually use my smartphone in the darkness of my room or at night, with little available light (besides of the light of my screen).

Also, I like to use services which are compatible with Oled displays, it helps to save energy and battery life in the long term.

In the case of Stake, their UI is already pretty much dark, so one does not need to force ones sight in order to gamble for long periods of times.

We just added a Night / Day mode switch (Light vs. Dark), but I’m honestly not sure if people actually use it or if it’s just one of those things that looks cool but gets ignored.


Do you actually use Dark Mode when it’s offered, or do you just stick to the default?

In my case, I prefer Dark Mode. Honestly, I can't imagine betting sites without it. Fortunately, most casinos and betting sites have Dark Mode as standard, which makes for a better view of the site, the colors are better, the games are more visible, and it doesn't strain the eyes. I highly doubt that most people wouldn't prefer Dark Mode as the default.

I don't think it's a particularly important feature in a casino, as there are other features that are more important. But if a casino does offer it, I'd be very grateful. The darker mode helps reduce glare, especially when I play at night, as it helps my eyes from getting tired from staring at the screen for extended periods.

I prefer dark mode when I spend too much time using the site, I know the eye care option is available also I find the dark mode comforting too. It gets really bright using light mode, most times side effect are attached, personally I’m speaking from my experience reason why brighter screen are not suitable for use always, the fact every app provides this option likewise casinos site but very rare yet this option is helpful.

In my case, I have to spend a lot of time in front of the computer screen throughout the day, and in this case, I use night mode in my browser to reduce eye strain. However, I have never noticed this issue on casino sites in the case of gambling. In most cases, I use the default color setting because my time spending on the gambling site is not much higher than 30 minutes in most cases.
However, I think a slightly colorful screen is better for gambling. I don't know how it is for others, but personally, that's what I like.

The sake of eyes lense it would be that better to include a dark mode for those who easily shades tears while accessing white screen. And of course, most at times I do switch browser to dark mode when I am not that cool with the screen brightness at the night, I easily go with dark mode at night and light mode at the day time depending on where I found myself, especially on a transit if I want to access the forum and I wouldn't want people to know the site that I am accessing.

I have always preferred a dark mode screen on my devices even when it comes to my gambling platform, because it reduces the brightness of my screen of which strains my eyes and it easily fits the scope of any environment I find myself in because my screen doesn't just stand out or give away my position if i just want to have a sneak peak or make a quick prediction.

I don't use it and mostly sticking the default theme. It's a nice to have but not a must-have feature IMHO. But if you think that it's a good one for that tweaking you're doing, you can add that. Although most gamblers don't really think that it's as important as good customer service, quick withdrawals and lesser minimum deposit.

Colour and dark mode are just extras compared to what gamblers actually do look at; fast deposit and withdrawal matter to us very much, and good customer support to do their job by helping us solve issues in the casino, but for the screen colour appearance, we can't be too sure of who wants it and who doesn't, so it's better they include it if it will cost them nothing than not having it and one of their potential customers being interested in it but not being able to find the feature that might discourage them. You never can tell how some take it seriously.

My eyes are so used to dark mode now that white light makes them ache immediately. I know many people feel the same way. I think it's important; every app should have it. Well, when we change the color of the User Interface to dark mode we are mostly dealing with the color of the casino itself, it does not change the color of the games or the color of games provided by third parties/providers.

Haven't you used Telegram or Discord before, or even Twitter?
I bet most of users of those applications prefer to use dark mode instead of the default white color.
It just feels more natural to one's eyes and it saves battery power if one has a smartphone with a oled-screen.

Most casinos I have seen are in dark mode actually. Or that is their default mode anyway. I think it comes with the design feature. There’s probably a psychological aspect to it so the site can look or feel luxurious.
