Is Dark Mode a "must-have" for you?

I prefer Dark Mode if that is available because that is not looks too shiny. We should prevents the shining makes our eyes feels tired in short period so we can adjust the light on our monitor.

But if that is not available, no problems using the Default Mode. Only a hope that will available so we can watch the monitor with comfortably.

Dark Mode can reduce power consumption on monitors, that's what people say but I don't really know.

We just added a Night / Day mode switch (Light vs. Dark), but I’m honestly not sure if people actually use it or if it’s just one of those things that looks cool but gets ignored.


Do you actually use Dark Mode when it’s offered, or do you just stick to the default?

It is not a must in a casino, But having it is better. Like me, I love using the dark mode. But this feature will just be seen at homescreen or some options but once in the game.
It will definitely go back on the default feature of the slot games or casino games.

It is better to add all the time then but the least priority.

I can't stay for so long on a screen so the dark mode has always been my favorite screen settings right from time and it has been so helpful to me. However the casinos is always more safe and condisive on a dark mode especially as it's been used for a long time duration, though not all has that features but the default mode is still a better option rather.

Shinny light screen is not that safe to our eyes and persistent usage can cause a fetal damage to the eyes, therefore the dark mode is nothing but the best in my opinion.

You often have to look at the screen in semi-darkness or low light, so it's a matter of eye comfort. Therefore, it is not even a question, but a necessity to keep up with other similar platforms. I'll use dark mode if the casino has it, even on my smartphone screen because it's easier on my eyes, and it doesn't tire my eyes as quickly.
And your casino should develop this feature well. While it's not the most important feature, at least you know that many players enjoy using it.

Dark mode is one of my favorite features, whether it's on gambling websites or other sites. I always enable dark mode because it's something I like, especially since I prefer dark colors, including the dark color scheme of my room.

Actually, in my opinion, there are positive aspects to dark mode, such as making the eyes more comfortable when looking at it that's what I feel. But I wonder what those who don't like dark mode think about dark colors.

But I will go with the majority of playing at dark mode, it's not that heavy on the eyes. You don't need to increase your monitor's saturation in case that you have issues with your eyes. So it's good though that we have options for many players by casinos around as everyone could be very different.

Dark mode gives me an inner joy because of my eyes and when I use it,  it makes me feel very comfortable unlike using the default and the light will have direct ray impacts on my eyes, dark mode is actually very good for people that has eyes problem and when the lights are dim they can see well and the light ray won't affect them, all casinos should develop this feature because most of the gamblers have eye deficiency due to too much light they come in contact with everytime they gamble.


Dark mode makes me stay long on the screen because I'm having issues with my eyes so whenever I want to bet I turn on my screen to dark mode so I can comfortably use it because without doing that I can't use it due to my eyes. Shiny screen is not advisable for the gamblers to be using everytime because it has so much effects on the eyes and it quick to damage the eyes so dark mode should be use frequently in other to safe the eyes from getting damaged.

I've tried using the dark mode and it does look good. I don't think it's a "must-have", but it's always a nice additional feature. By the way, you might want to check it's mobile responsiveness. The 'Wagie AI' button seem to overlap with the 'Tools' and 'Dark mode' buttons, but it should be pretty easy to fix.

I do not think a poll is necessary for it. You can easily glance through what people have been posting on this thread, majority posted that they prefer dark mode. As of yesterday, I read only two people that posted that they prefer light mode. But also there are few posts about both.

Regardless of which one someone selected, I think it will be good if gambling sites have both mode. It will even be good if the gambling sites have three modes just like the one you can see on X and on wallets like Cake wallet.

After reading the comments, I guess we can draw some conclusions: the majority prefers Dark Mode, but good casinos/services must have both. Like with all other features, more options will attract more people... and it's all about that, being attractive for every taste.

I prefer dark mode like many others. It's simply more relaxing that way, and somehow it goes with a gambling vibe...

I don't use it and mostly sticking the default theme. It's a nice to have but not a must-have feature IMHO. But if you think that it's a good one for that tweaking you're doing, you can add that. Although most gamblers don't really think that it's as important as good customer service, quick withdrawals and lesser minimum deposit.

Colour and dark mode are just extras compared to what gamblers actually do look at; fast deposit and withdrawal matter to us very much, and good customer support to do their job by helping us solve issues in the casino, but for the screen colour appearance, we can't be too sure of who wants it and who doesn't, so it's better they include it if it will cost them nothing than not having it and one of their potential customers being interested in it but not being able to find the feature that might discourage them. You never can tell how some take it seriously.

Yes, we want those features about our convenience although the dark/light modes are also for our convenience but it's just a slight need for most gamblers. It's not a big deal if a casino has that because we as gamblers will adopt to the theme and design of the casino that we like to gamble. And we're often impressed by how good they are with the features that are beneficial to us and not to our sight. So with what the other members are telling, they prefer to have their themes in a dark mode because that's what is appealing to their eyes.

It's not something I must have, but I appreciate that the casino developer considers their players' preferences. They knew that gamblers differ in their preferences; some prefer to check the dashboard before the TOS.
Some gamblers are sensitive to colors, and some compare the dashboards of every platform they encounter, so it's a positive if we have a day and night mode.

Ofcourse dark mode is a necessity for every adult to protect our eyes from direct bright lights, I feel like continuous exposure to bright lights on our devices can have negative effects on our sights when we are old. Either it's on a gambling site or exchange if there's a feature to reduce the brightness I think we should take advantage of it because the eyes relaxes more when bright lights are not penetrating it directly. My phones have eye care option to reduce the brightness of lights on the eyes and it makes browsing with it for a long time not to hurt the eyes. If there were no dark modes most of us will think twice before entering à site.

I don't think everyone is like that. Some people wear glasses that already have the advantage of reducing glare from device screens like monitors and phones. That can be comfortable for anyone. 
But this feature is related to the comfort of every website visitor. Casinos or other sites that have this feature can offer options to their customers. It's an added value and good to implement.

Dark mode is not a must feature for me as long as the default theme is eyes-friendly (not too bright), but if the default theme of the casino is not friendly to my eyes then yes there should be a dark mode.
Nowadays most casinos provide more friendly UI so they do not need to provide dark mode, but of course having both modes is better because not all players like to use dark mode.
With 2 available modes, players may choose which one they like so there will be no drama just because of how the site looks like.

I usually don't pay much attention to this when I go to a casino to play games or bet on them. I use the default user interface and to be honest, until I saw your topic, I never wondered what it would be like to play casino games in dark mode.
Maybe after reading your topic, I'll check if the platforms I play games on have a dark mode option. However, I am still doubtful about how enjoyable the dark mode interface will be for casino games. Because casino games are about entertainment and everyone likes something a little colorful here, although there may be exceptions.

An option to switch between light and dark mode is a very welcome feature that ALL casinos should have.

Remember that online casinos are played on our respective devices, whether it be on a PC; iPad; or your mobile device. Most gamblers also tend to gamble at the comfort of their home in which some do it at their bed time. Having a night mode on the website is a huge quality of life in terms of looking at the screen. Imagine playing at a white board at the middle of the night- it will definitely burn your eyes!

Like what I mentioned above, I do believe that ALL casinos should have this feature. Not only does it bring comfort and ease to your eyes but it also values it customers and feedback from its users. I haven't encountered anyone giving a negative feedback because of this feature- and it's actually the other way around! People LEAVE negative feedback without this feature.
