Then the question arises, who have the ability to destroy Bitcoin? Ironically, the answer may be only the person who created it: Satoshi.

Well if there was actually a clear answer I would say Satoshi actually. However it's not logical and frankly speaking there's virtually no reason for him to crumble the entire crypto market and yeah you read that right if bitcoin disappears the whole crypto market will crumble though it might be for a while.

Nevertheless in my opinion there's no benefit to questions like this because I can say the government themselves don't even want bitcoin to crumble.

I don't agree with that, because I believe even though governments show the public that they are supporting Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, deep down, they don't really like them like we do, because cryptocurrencies can always become a hurdle for them when it comes to people and their financial activities. When people use Bitcoin, especially with non-custodial wallets, governments can't know anything if people have not done anything to get their non-custodial wallets linked to their identity. This makes them lose control, and believe me, governments don't like it when they lose control over something.

So technically or logically, governments wouldn't mind if Bitcoin crumbles and disappears all of a sudden because that will only make way for them to regain full control over people and their finances, which has now reduced somehow since people have already started keeping their money in Bitcoin instead of keeping them in a bank. However, I agree with you that Bitcoin is not going anywhere, no one can or will destroy Bitcoin, and it is now going to stay for as long as there are at least some people in the world using it.

He may have the will and power to hold the most coin which can move the market, it’ll most definitely affect the market, but the market will always get ro recover back after a big dump in the market as a result of any of those push. The way Satoshi has even equipped the Bitcoin market, he won’t have the final say as to what the market will resolve into for the long term even if he has still used his influence to annul the market movement to his own direction.

Firstly I think you are not actually aware the government does not act with emotions like individuals do and before they make a move they make plans strategically just to ensure they are on the winning side. Now currently the government holds a decent amount of bitcoin and killing bitcoin means billions of government funds disappearing in thin air that's if can in the first place.

As ide from this it's actually way easier for you to centralize price movement by holding more thereby making for profit than killing it losing your capital and wasting resources so think again.

Seriously? If you believe Satoshi could destroy Bitcoin, it means your understanding of Bitcoin is very limited, even though you've been on this forum for so long.

We've seen this all before... the same 'they won't kill their own goose' argument from the China 2017 FUD and that Indian 'crypto bill' mess.

It's never about them wanting to destroy it out of spite, it's about control.
They can hold the asset while strangling the fiat on-ramps and taxing every single on-chain move you make. I remember when everyone said China's mining ban would kill Bitcoin - hashrate dropped, sure, but it just moved.
What they want is the tax revenue and the surveillance, not the death of it - So yeah, they won't 'kill' it, they'll just try to domesticate it, corral the whole show into their existing bureaucratic systems. That's the real play, and it's way more boring than any dramatic ban.

I kind of have a strong doubt that even Satoshi can destroy Bitcoin with the current infrastructure and networking system it has developed over the years. It is not in the hands of one person to destroy as I have so far learnt, but what could be worse is when whale investors liquidate almost at once, because this would have a major effect on the Bitcoin market and other cryptocurrencies as well.
Also, only if Bitcoin becomes centralized and controlled can it be destroyed because the whole idea of its existence would have been corrupted to fit political agendas and propaganda by the government that has more control over it.

The answer is nobody not even the creator because his intentions were pure and he really meant well for his people, he will not see himself creating what is good and have himself destroying it again, even if bitcoin moves away from it's original purpose, Satoshi will not do that because of the financial freedom he has given to the world , instead for that for him he wouldn't have started it at all.

That's because the chance of destroying Bitcoin is slim. The US, EU, and Chinese governments have once tried to use their naive rules and regulations to include negative news ^{(Even Satoshi can not destroy it, and he has already left all the Bitcoin duty to the community)}. However, the solution it presents makes it difficult for anyone to destroy it.
The only thing that can destroy Bitcoin is a worldwide electricity shutdown, a worldwide internet collapse, we Bitcoiners (everyone), stop using it, and miners stop mining it.

Yes, Bitcoin gets its existence through the creation of Satoshi, but that doesn't mean he can compromise the credibility BTC gain it because of you, me, and others who embrace its potential.

People seriously need to start to understand that bitcoin is beyond everyone now and that even Satoshi cannot distroy it. One thing is that some like Satoshi can simply just create FUD or FOMO through their actions but it will not be able actually kill off bitcoin. The example that OP gave about Satoshi killing bitcoin is by selling and I say for every seller there must be a buyer and for Satoshi to sell his coins they will be buyers in the market. The only thing is selling off his coins might actually cause is that it will send the market into panic and probably a prolonged bearish period as their will be fear most especially by the weak hands who will he thinking that it is actually going to die too but big investors will simply just stick to their portfolio and hodl for long and at the end the market will definitely come back stronger.

OP is talking about Satoshi dumping all his coin on the market and not technically destroying it, he can't by the way.

Bitcoin firstly must be decentralized in technical so that it won't be destroyed technically by any person. From that it will not be destroyed by anyone on the market, by none of Satoshi Nakamoto or anyone else.
If Bitcoin is bad in technical, it can be exploited technically and results in bitcoin dumps on the market.

Without technical strong, Bitcoin can not be strong in the market from trading volume to trading price.

The only way Bitcoin is going to be destroyed is if the internet is destroyed or humanity makes money redundant. And even then I am not sure whether Bitcoin will still exist or not. It could still keep going, maybe not with the internet but in a different way. Or for a different purpose.

Bitcoin is simply too brilliant for it to die out for no reason.
