I am not much of a tech person and don't know much about Bitcoin technology, but I understand that due to decentralisation, no one could destroy Bitcoin. As long as miners actively mine Bitcoin and transactions keep confirming, no one can destroy it. Even if a single Bitcoin holder wants to mine it and keep it alive, it's possible. Do you believe all the Bitcoin holders will sell their Bitcoin all together?

Well, I agree with you on the notion that, with decentralization having no central authority or concentration of power, it doesn’t make sense to have expect that any one man or organization could lead to the pitfall of Bitcoin. Bitcoin have grown even more than the founder and even in the unraveling of the mystery behind the founder, it would still find a way to continue in it’s existence.

If the Bitcoin chain were centralized in a centralized data center, it would be reliable, but Bitcoin is spread across countless data centers around the world, making it impossible to destroy. When the Creator's purpose expands, it does not need to be confined. Bitcoin is a global asset.

The government can shutdown other things they can control like company or websites, but that’s not easy to do when it comes to bitcoin. The success that Bitcoin has proven over past years shows that Bitcoin is more stronger than we think, to the the point of thinking Bitcoin can be easily destroy one day. No one can control the price of Bitcoin, it means that Bitcoin is not depending on anyone.

But let’s put imaginary things outside and focus on reality, since we probably not seeing bitcoin getting destroyed lets focus more on grabbing the opportunity it has brought us than find what could destroy.

Exactly no one can destroy bitcoin, They only make a centralised system to adopt bitcoin so the central body of any country have control on it as they control banking system through Mother Bank.

The idea that just Satoshi Nakamoto can damage Bitcoin is quit understandable, yet not likely in practice. Even when Satoshi came back and sold every early mined coins, it might cause strong short term volatility, not destruction that is permanent. Markets with time absorb shocks. Bitcoin operates on consensus that is decentralized. No one in particular, not even its creator, has the power to shut down or rewrite the rules surrounding it without network agreement.

That is to say that the power of bitcoin survival is in the hands of the community and not Satoshi or the creator of bitcoin? I might agree with you but in some sense it doesn't seem right because if Satoshi is ever known the government will not let him rest even when he is dead the government will keep finding faults or something to use against him to lay bitcoin to rest but that would have happened earlier if bitcoin was still seen as a threat not now that it is becoming a welcomed development.

Actually nothing can destroy bitcoin except the holder its self, how many time bad regulation from several countries by banning bitcoin as payment transaction but Bitcoin keep existing and success raise new higher price.  In my opinion many factor could bring bad and negative side for bitcoin exactly with the government regulation, when the top countries announce bad regulation about bitcoin its possibility destroy bitcoin for awhile price drop significant but overall bitcoin can't destroy yet although have down always get chance to break out higher price.
Bitcoin's holder not dominance by individual not the same with altcoin and I think is reason why bitcoin can't destroy by any one although how most influence that person.

People and the government have tried to tarnished bitcoin reputation in the past, but most of them do end up failing, we can see that bitcoin adoption and reputation keeps on increasing, and people that are anti bitcoin keeps on failing. Lots of people have claimed that bitcoin is used for illegal activities alone, but it’s obvious that those people are just against bitcoin, and they don’t really have anything to use against bitcoin. If bitcoin is used for illegal activities, why are they not complaining about fiat currency. It’s so obvious that people saying negative things about bitcoin are just against bitcoin.

With how the government has tried to crash bitcoin in the past and they failed, I don’t really think there is anything they can do to bitcoin again, highest that can happen is that they going to dump bitcoin price, but they can’t kill bitcoin.

It is said, right, that whoever is the creator and has created something, no one else can destroy what he created except the creator. Meaning, if Satoshi Nakamoto were still alive in this era, he would be the only one who has the ability to destroy bitcoin, according to my knowledge and idea.

The only thing that the community can do is that if no one invests in bitcoin, it will definitely lose value in the market, though people can still buy bitcoin anytime if they want. Bitcoin can still have value again, but if Satoshi Nakamoto himself destroys it, even if investors want to buy bitcoin again, they will not be able to do so because it is already broken and it really doesn't exist anymore.

Do you really think Satoshi would do anything bad against Bitcoin? Even if things don't go the way he envisioned, Bitcoin still serves the people who use it as a currency and a hedge against rotten financial systems. It is always important to keep in mind that Satoshi may no longer be alive, and even if he is alive, he may not have access to the coins he mined.

To me, it is more likely that a comet will hit the Earth than that Satoshi will do anything negative against Bitcoin.

Like I just tried to imagine what the reason for Satoshi to go against Bitcoin would be. Having created a decentralized currency like Bitcoin, it is a big honor for anyone to be the founder of Bitcoin. Having a successful currency like Bitcoin, Satoshi would do everything to protect it rather than go against it.

 Satoshi would be really happy with himself for being the brain behind Bitcoin; he is a genius who understands that the world deserves better than the fiat system.

The only possible thing that can kill Bitcoin now is quantum computers, even Kevin o Larry said that this is why institutions won't risk more than 3% of their entire worth into Bitcoin, not until that phase is passed.

It seems the threat is real, at first I have always ruled it off but its now becoming more noticeable, the solution is likely a fork or an update.

Right now I don't see any other threat for bitcoin than this, and it will passed, gone are the early days where Bitcoin could still be stopped, now its too late.

I do not think that quantum computers can destroy Bitcoin, Bitcoin developers are not that naive to not think of the possible future threat. Quantum computers may pose risk or even disrupt Bitcoin operation but eventually Bitcoin developer will develop a quantum resistance code that will make Bitcoin fully QC resistant.

How can someone possibly destroy bitcoin and I think that is absolutely ridiculous to even think of someone destroying bitcoin, I have been investing and I know what Bitcoin is all about and what it entails so I don’t see how someone would possibly destroy bitcoin and whatever that could actually have meant by destroying bitcoin, bitcoin isn’t regulated by anyone, what I understand is that bitcoin is a volatile assets and nobody would know how Bitcoin works personally I think people or individuals would only try to speculate on how bitcoin works but they can never be completely sure about how bitcoin works or operate in a long run.

Satoshi who is responsible for creating of bitcoin would only be the one that could have such power because it’s not inevitable for him, but the most ugly part is that nobody knows how bitcoin works and operates which is why we should know that bitcoin can’t be destroyed by anyone.

However, if the creator of creation deviates from a purpose, no one can destroy it, just as we know that Satoshi himself designed it in a way where he has hidden himself.  And since there has been no such indication in Bitcoin so far and Satoshi has not returned, it will not be possible to destroy Bitcoin in the future.
