I've been holding crypto for a while but took a break from the scene. Now that I'm back, it feels like the landscape for simple, no-KYC swaps has changed a lot. A lot of the old services I used either shut down or now require verification.

I'm just looking for a straightforward way to swap between coins (like BTC to USDT or ETH) without handing over my ID. Non-custodial is a must . I want to keep my keys.

What are people actually using these days that's reliable and doesn't freeze funds? I've seen a few newer platforms mentioned but would rather hear from real users here.

Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks.

Just use a decentralized exchange, I'm always using https://flake.exchange and it does exactly what you're describing. BTC to USDT or ETH, without KYC, connects straight from wallet, and swaps goes absolute instant

When you say swap then there are two things that come to mind:

1. swap between tokens of the same blockchain, like erc20 for example.
2. swap between coins/tokens of different blockchains like Bitcoin and USDT.

The first is easy and a lot of non-kyc options exist. The second one is a bit more tricky. There are as far as I know no fully decentralized swaps for different blockchains. So while there are options, they could theoretically take control of your coins until you pass KYC.

Bisq is quite well known and trusted.

Recently I was also looking for an instant exchanger and directly if I say I was looking for the alternative of an exchanger called exch which I used it was trust and best service for me like minimum withdrawal amount and fee. Currently there service is shut down And now I have found another exchanger from my personal exploration and already used it twice I liked its service also fee seemed less than other ones which I have seen. I had never heard of flake.exchange before. I just visited the site - it looks impressive.

Do you happen to know whether they use atomic swaps, or is there theoretically a possibility that I could send my bitcoins and not receive the requested tokens?

And one more question. You say the exchange happens instantly. Instantly - after how many network confirmations (if I am sending bitcoins)?

As for the OP, I would also suggest taking a look at b1exch.io. It does not fully meet the stated requirements, because there is a short period of time when you do not control your coins: one cryptocurrency has already been sent, while the other has not yet been received. However, unlike flack.exchange, which positions itself as an aggregator (that is, it only connects you with other platforms and does not participate in the swaps itself), b1exch.io handles all swaps on its own and risks its own reputation with every transaction.

Exodus exchanges via a third party who may impose conditions of use, and then you will need to contact the third party who may refer you to another third party, and so on.

that's the worst you could ever recommend. all the instant swap exchanges Exodus uses will ask for KYC if it gets triggered, and some of those exchanges are known selective scammers.
just search the forum, and you will see how many people had their money stolen because of that.

Maybe this is an offtopic post now, because the OP "asked" about a specific service, not the entire collection, where he will again have to research on his own. 

This form of shilling is a fairly old method, I don't believe it works for most users. However, there are always those who are naive. I assume that today, AI LLM bots can find a post like this and deliver information to the user
