HAS BEEN A SURE ODD?

I used to think there are sure odds, not until after that very faithful day.  That'  experience teach me, that there know no sure odds. With the suprise.  I believe no sure odds.  I don't know if anyone believes that are sure odds. And If you think there are sure odds maybe you only get it right that day, not for you to believe there are sure odds.

  Without being told I will never preach to anyone that there sure odds. Sometimes,  people  get it right not because is sure.. many  people win many times. Just when is right. But mind you is not sure.

How can you even assume that sure odds exist? All odds in gambling are uncertain; even a small multiplier can result in a loss. For example, you might bet on a well-known team against a lesser-known, or even unknown, team. Many people assume the well-known team is almost certain to win, but in reality, that is not the case; the well-known team can still lose. We see this in any sporting event, right? Boxing, soccer, basketball, and so on. So, those who believe in sure odds are wrong. If sure odds existed, many people would have gotten rich from gambling, but in reality, they don't, right? I hope you understand the point I am making.

What is a sure odd? like 1.01? that's not even sure because with the little odd that you'll get from there, there's a chance that underdog can still win. It only increases your potential chance to win but you'll never say that there's a sure odd. I guess it has become a norm when the odds are like that, we tend to say that we've got some sure bet and it's an odd that's full of confidence that shall make us win then.

I've seen someone who bets with odds of 1.1x this can be said to be sure odds because the bet takes a small risk, it's just that this is gambling especially in big team matches can lose to the underdog team, maybe it can be said that this incident is not too frequent but someone may have experienced it. In gambling there are no definite odds even though 1.1x is back to luck as we often say.

You could even lose $1m betting on odds @1.01. Isn’t that what it means that there are no sure odds?

That’s how gambling works, and that’s why we really need predictions, combined with intuition to strengthen them. For example, if the favorite team has odds @1.1 and the underdog has odds @19, but our intuition tells us the underdog will win because, based on previous match results, the underdog always manages to make things difficult for the favorite.

So, even though there are no sure odds, we have many ways to make predictions that can increase our chances of winning.

Almost guaranteed win is not same as 100% guaranteed that small negligible amount in the percentage makes a huge difference in the results. So one who thinks they found the infinite money glitch by betting on the lower odd games and they won like 100 straight games but all it takes just one loss that will bring down where they started, yet they have 99% winning rate while what they have made will be like 1.02x not even doubled after 100 wins that is the reality of betting on lower odd games which doesn't really make sense to me.

When discussing winning at gambling, it is certainly uncertain, but when it comes to the odds of winning, they do exist, it's just that the odds of losing are greater than those of winning. I didn't quite understand what you were talking about before, but I think the “certain odds” you mentioned refer to the odds of winning. If that's the case, then indeed, certain odds don't exist. Most gambling relies on luck, which is why certain odds are said to be unrealistic, but the odds of losing are certain.
