There's no stopping developers because the community is still strong, the market is poised for a big shift, and the potential is still there; everything looks positive, and those who are not will be left behind.

Developers are always developing, but only those building something good stick around even when the storm is tough. Shitty projects fizzle out like they were never there.

The market is experiencing a decline in Bitcoin prices, which is also affecting other coins that were originally created in the crypto space solely for profit. When the Bitcoin market is bearish, these coins will be forgotten like trash.
This is because people are starting to find the right formula to ignore most altcoins and make a start on trying hard to own Bitcoin.
Although the question is not whether crypto will die, crypto was indeed created not to have a long lifespan.

I think when you actually tell others most especially altcoin holders that there is just bitcoin as an investment the rest are just pump and dump coins with no utility maybe just little number of them who also are simply just following bitcoin every movement people actually think you’re simply a bitcoin maximalist and do not treat other Altcoins as a thing but let’s look at the reality how many of the so called innovative projects or platforms developed to solve some acclaimed bitcoin faults are actually left after every bearish period or cycle I think just the top ones with large market cap.

This is the same thing that actually leads to this ongoing debate about Altcoins being worthy of called an alternative for bitcoin but I usually do not agree that Altcoins are actually good alternative for investment aside bitcoin because should bitcoin falls today they follow suit and that’s not a good alternative in my opinion

Btc will not last into 2100 as it is designed today.

But scrypt with doge+ltc could last for 1000 or more years as it  designed today.

Bitcoin during 2017 winter made me realize the lows are more important and usually a better guide then the highs.   If you think about the highest prices, everyone jumps on board its a big party even people who dont want to use BTC so almost by definition the highest prices are not as accurate.
  If we ignore profit, we want accuracy in the price and highest prices contain a boat load of speculators and people enjoying the hype but as said above its not really the core of Bitcoin use.  The winter or harsh pullback is likely a requirement and even useful to kill off the weeds

I almost want cheaper prices still, so long as its a stable development not too sharp or harsh.  If the price is low you are giving people a chance to buy properly, develop an interest and thats fair as Bitcoin is so old now that some that were too young back near the start can now get a 'good' price.  In the majority I need to hold more BTC so Im biased towards seeing low prices as some positive tbh.

Do people really ask that question when crypto winter hit?
The worst scenario for bitcoin right now would be decline to $40k-50k. That'd be roughly 800 billion dollar market cap and it's far above most of asset in the world.

Anyone questioning whether bitcoin will die just after 60% decline should question their own rationality because clearly that's far from dying.

I don't understand why anybody that is in the crypto market will panic unnecessarily during bear run (crypto winter). This is something that has been reoccurring since the beginning of Bitcoin creation, they are circles and in any season it's either prices are increasing or decreasing rapidly. During crypto winters experience matters for you to know if the coins your are holding has ability to recover from dip, the answer will determine if you should sell or hold.

As for Bitcoin this bear run is a good opportunity to be buying and having in mind that after bear run bull run will start and profit will be made.

I like that honesty at the end lol. Many want to hodl more btc but damn! it's almost impossible for everyone that want's it to. It will be a pleasant sight to see the price of BTC get lower. But as it is in businesses everyone wants profit. Even early adopters want the asset to fly very high.

That's what privacy is all about, when you you move away from social hypes and concentrate on accumulating valuable assets like bitcoin. Real successful people build in silence until their goal is achieved so if i can accumulate a large amount of bitcoin, my dreams will definitely be fulfilled

Crypto is not dead rather we are witnessing the season and this is something that is constant in the space which we do not need to panic over the market, off course those who doesn't know how the market operates would still panicking over the market because they're aren't that much understanding how the market operates. But anyone who has been on the space for long now or for years should be able to understand how the market operates in every season of the market, and Yes this is the rightful time for investment over the space and not when it's starting gaining momentum before making investment.

I don't know why it's always a big issue whenever Bitcoin falls. Ain't we used to it? I mean, it happened many times in the past, or maybe those who are making this a big issue are those who have not experienced this kind of fluctuation.
I have Bitcoins, and yet I don't mind what is happening. Why? It's simple, this is not a rare thing to happen. It will fall and go back up, and then do it over again. At the back of my mind, I know that it will go back up. There are investors who are in the shadows waiting for the right moment to buy, and maybe this is not yet the price that they want. They want it cheaper to maximize the profits in the future.

First, crypto is not dead, but majority of coins in the crypto are dead due to the unsustainable product. They unable to create a product that can generate them revenue. So they're lacking the fund to keep their project to still remain active. Furthermore, we have seen plenties projects decided to sunsetting their platform such as Parsec, Terminal finance and etc.
So the only project with sustainable product can still remain exist for long term.

Beside that it's not right to call none is watching.  It's because of speculators are still exist in the market. These speculators would be the market for the project that is still building. I know the demand would not be as big as bullish market, but it doesn't mean none is watching it.
So i believe your argument is totally wrong. If none was watching, crypto was already dead. It means your point is totally opposite to the reality.

Agreed - crypto is an important part of financial transfers and will never die - but I do think it will evolve.  PoW cannot survive in a future with AI.  When a new non-POW coin (with the same protections as bitcoin) becomes widely accepted, it will be trivial for governments to ban power permits for bitcoin and no one will fight it because a better alternative is available.

Every cycle follows the same psychological arc excitement speculation overvaluation then correction when liquidity dries up and sentiment collapses weak projects lose funding marketing budgets vanish and communities dissolve that’s not accidental it’s structural hype can inflate valuations but it cannot sustain development without real utility.

Crypto winters function as stress tests they expose whether a project has real product market fit sustainable token economics and committed builders or whether it relied purely on momentum and narrative during downturns capital becomes selective investors demand fundamentals not promises teams that survive usually have runway disciplined cost structures and long term roadmaps.
The market rewards visibility during bull runs but it rewards resilience during bear phases the question is not whether prices recover eventually but which ecosystems emerge stronger because they used the downturn to compound technical progress.
