Opportunities are unequal because that’s how it’s meant to be,even our fingers aren’t equal right?Just like an instance of “big” and “small”,God didn’t create everything big,He also created small creatures,so in my own opinion everyone in the society can’t attain equal opportunities.The economy would only grow faster if the government establish productive initiatives where the citizens learn new skills that would stand as a mean of providing their basic needs,the idea of giving the masses a start up fund would be helpful to only those set of individuals that are productive,majority might lavish the fund and still expect the government to give a start up fund another time.

If there are limited number of citizens, I think giving equal opportunities will be given justice. But we are talking already hundreds of thousand or million citizens here, so it won't be possible at all.

But instead, let those funds be a good source of livelihood for the people, especially the poor individuals that have no stable jobs. That way, the rate of poverty if not completely eradicated, at least it will be reduced or minimized. And I know that is everyone's target for any struggling government.

Technically, it is going to improve our economy and grow faster if we are all given equal opportunities, I mean it just wasn't made that way since life was just unfair, and it wasn't the reality that we are getting, and probably it is almost impossible to get equal opportunities even for some aspects that they just work or wish for. What i mean is there were just some people or children that have the opportunity to be born on a stable family, some are rich families and some are poor families, we could easily imagine some children get the opportunity to be able to go to school and study, maybe for sure countries educations was free and great, here in my country it was really something that is being corrupt, there are a lot of places that didn't even make a full classroom or schools. So they weren't able to even get the opportunity to study something like that, compared that to the cities where children are able to get the opportunity to be able to go to school. Personally, I was able to go to college for free, paid by the government, with no tuition fees.

If all of the people are able to get that opportunity, for sure economy is going to grow faster since there are going to be a lot more workers and professionals, there are going to be fewer skills that are going to waste but put to good use they are able to do things that they wanted, but the reality is just not that.

You have made a good point here, nevertheless it is a difficult thing for the federal government to share money to every citizen of a country. As a government in power, their are certain things that the federal government can do in order to help citizens, such as making good economic policies that will make money very valuable and reduce inflation drastically, then people will live better life.
There is a reason why so many people become very poor, to me , federal government is not totally the cause of poverty. Poverty can be eradicated with proper planning of every individual and your mental ability towards wealth creation. Many people lack financial planning, and even when millions of dollars is given to such people they can not make good use of it. Many have had good opportunities in life but could not utilize them very well because they lack the idea of wealth creation.

Your point highlights the unequal facts about society. And its true that nature also divided individuals in different categories some are superior in terms of abilities and recourses and some have limitations. But its not means that unequal opportunities can be shared no doubt a lot of time a gape in skills and economic background can be founded. And also government not focused on disturbing startups and prefers productive initiative. If individuals can learn skills they could be dependent so in this way skills development program give a great push but if not proper guidance can be provided than its the loss of money. Physically and mentally healthy people who were born and live in first world countries and are still poor cannot be helped. They are the way they are and no matter how much money and opportunity you throw at them, they will not change.

Greed is a very common attribute amongst man, it is something we have been struggling with for a very long time and till date we still unfortunately still suffer from it. Still unfortunately for alot of us our current leaders are  very greedy and the concept of sharing doesnt sit right with them let alone the word "equal", to them everything thier hands and eyes can see belongs to them and their household and followers thats if the greed is not that much because normally amhonst themselves they are still greedy. Trying to give everyone "equal" opportunity is not easy because you are taking it from someone who will use that opportunity and give it to someone who will not use it all. This doesn't matter if we are talking about finance, or just a chance, or school, or education, or health, doesn't really matter. But this fund will eventually come from the taxpayers itself, right? This means, the taxation rates will increase to distribute more money. The population is growing at a really fast pace. Giving these funds to almost everyone after reaching a certain age means the government will eventually end up getting more money from the citizens or the taxpayers. Not everyone is a taxpayer, and some prefer hiding their money from the government to make some extra percentage of profits. This means, government is getting less money than expected but they will still have to pay money to the citizens just to give them the opportunity. This will eventually make the government fall.

Governments do give a number of opportunities not only to educate the citizens but also to provide job or even back their business idea. All we need is knowledge about where to find these opportunities. If we really have the skills, government will surely support us in some or the other way but if we just prefer lying around for the entire day expecting government will take care of us, this is never going to happen.

That's why we don't need to fully expect it from the government because it is impossible for them to be able to reach all levels of society in it so what we need to do is fight to get the opportunity for financial freedom. We have seen how countries that have abundant natural resources still have many poor people in them and this reflects the attitude of leaders who do not have a clear vision to advance their country and instead they only try to enrich groups and a few people who are close to power. It is better to focus on developing human resources so that the people in it know to do something to achieve a better life because if humans do not have adequate resources it will be difficult for the people in it to develop and find opportunities to achieve financial freedom.

Aside giving out funds that comes from natural resources, these opportunities that you talk about ought to be a right that every citizens deserves, but for some greedy reasons, it has all become a rocket science. The idea of sharing non refundable funds is one of the biggest jokes as far as politics and government is concerned, but you see these opportunities that they deprive us from?, it's actually one of the biggest problems that majority of the countries in the world are facing. A lot of people are hardworking and are always willing to work for survival, but the opportunities are not there. No enabling environment for important things that can benefit the common masses. Not providing the same policies does not make our lives better.The rich are provided with everything due to which they progress further but the poor do not have access to it so they cannot change their personal and financial lives.As you said ending poverty with mental capabilities is absolutely fine but if the poor are not provided with an economic policy how will they be mentally prepared. What I think about my country is that the government cannot solve the problems that occur, one of which is employment, which proves that there are still many people who are unemployed. There are even cases of people or small people committing theft in order to survive, and there is even a recent case where a schoolboy chose to commit suicide by leaving a letter that he did it because he could not buy notebooks and pens for school. This proves the poor performance of the government in my country. And with the funds that are given to the community I think of it like a relief fund commonly referred to as social assistance funds in my country, honestly it is not fully helpful because sometimes it is done with the aim of just getting election votes not for the welfare of the community so it is for their own interests.

This looks like yet another socialist BS idea "the government should just give 100K to every person and everything will be great". What about inflation? All the "helicopter money" ideas don't work, because they cause higher inflation and nothing more. EVERYONE can't be given the opportunity to manage the economy and it's clearly understandable because we can't have excessive ideas which may slow implementation process, and make for time wasting towards reaching to conclusions. What everyone can do is to participate through ensuring to hold those in representative positions in government accountable and seeking transparency in their functions. It is not possible for everyone to have the same opportunity,  and their is no where this happens. The reason why opportunities are scarce is just to create value.  The government can give the basic amenities but opportunity will still be scares and this is what even give value to opportunity. Disbursing money to citizens won't solve the poverty problem, it'll slow down the complaints for a while, and the people will quickly go back to poverty immediately the government aid is removed or stopped.
