Challenge in binamce

My binamce account has been created and verified for the past seven years now and I have been trading and investing with it ever since I verified it it has been my crypto app in other words the best I have used so far but it all started going wrong when I lost access to my gmail I can't login anymore into the app because I lost my phone and I have forgotten the password to my gmail so it has been a major challenge for me ever since I don't know how to go about it  your opinion is needed if you have a solution

If you verified your phone number on Binance, which I believe you did as a criterion to operate the account for six years, then what you should do is try to log in using your phone number and click on “Forgot Password.” You will be asked for a code that will be generated by Binance and sent as a text message to your registered phone number. Although I have not used phone number to change a password before, but a verified phone number is always another way to gain security access on most exchanges, and I believe this should work with Binance as well.

Since he is disable to get access to his verified account, I guess he was just email verified in addition to 2FA with google authentificator which is connected to his lost mobile device. And since he can't recover his gmail, he can't recover his 2FA app as well.
Imo, his only option is to contact the support and try other methods to verify his identity again and prove ownership of the account. Easy to say that the email was hacked and he can send additional documents to prove ownership. The support might ask for deposit sources identification as well. OP was eager to verify his binance account but ignore to protect the email he used for the registration.

Try to recover your Gmail account first (through the phone number or secondary recovery email if you added this to your Gmail account). The other options are through something like your birthday, etc.

Secondly, which app were you using as your authenticator? Was it Authy or Google Authenticator?

Binance gives you 4 options to log in to your account via app

1. Through passkeys
2. Through The authenticator codes (this is a must if you can't use passkeys)
3. Through SMS
4. Through Email address code

I don't think recovering Gmail would be easy since he lost the phone, including his number, and I believe the phone number is also lost. So recovering Gmail isn't possible.

@OP I better contact Binance support about your case and tell them if there's a chance to recover your account email and phone number by submitting your documents to verify that you are the real owner.

I don't know if it would work, but in my experience on OKX, I created a new account, and they detected my 2nd account. I asked them if I could migrate my account because I lost access to my email and phone. The good news they allow me to migrate with my old account.

It might also work on Binance so try contacting them first.

The issue is that if he wants to use new device to access Binance, Binance will send code to his phone as a message and email to be used for authentication. Also 2FA will be needed. He needs these three things before he can have access to his account.

In my country, if you lost your phone and your sim card is lost, all you need to do is to go the service provider office near where you are and tell them that you want to recover back the stolen sim. If you have what came with the sim card when you bought it, they will do it for you. If you do not have what came with the sim, you can go for affidavit which may discourage some people but prefer to just block the sim and get another one.

If his email has recovery email, he can use that  to recover the email.

But the problem is that he needs both the email and phones to have access to the exchange. He also needs his 2FA. So the best would be to just go through the process stated above already on the first post.

But the phone was lost, assuming the phone number is inserted on it as well, although there are ways to recover going throught isp main office or accredited stores to recover the sim card number. But yes, the account can be recovered in many ways including messing the support customer first, but i expect it will be a long run as there are many complaints about their CS.

ops should be ready to face a long run down to recover the account, is not as if is impossible to recover his binance account since he is going to be needing all three codes both from email and SMS and the 2FA code's all this are necessary to recover your account or change your password, but the first step is to get a sum swap and try to recover the email from the phone if it happens that he used that phone as recovery on the email I just assuming but the botom line is that, is not impossible to recover the account, but he is going to face a lot of challenges to get that fixed.

IIRC this can be bypassed after another approved KYC verification, showing the same ID provided by OP to their CS, new ID might work as well as long it has the same look (face), name and address. So OP will provide another email and phone to verify both, and will be required to get new 2fa code.
Well, this is easier said than done, so to OP, you should ready yourself for long run recovery process.

It is not Scam Accusations, and you will only get an answer through the support team.

The more you answer the questions correctly and provide sufficient documents, the faster you will regain access to the account.

Usually the questions are to remember the email address, phone number, attach your data, take a video selfie to verify identity, deposit or withdrawal data, remember your balance and some previous transactions.

Are you referring to Binance? Because I have even searched on Google and failed to find something named Binance. So I am assuming your concerns are related to Binance. However, I will not consider this as a scam accusation against them, though I myself had an issue with Binance previously, but later it was solved.

For now, you have to try recovering your email address. As far as I know, if your phone number was added to the account, then you can try to log in with that. Changing the IP address will lead to submitting OTP; I'm not sure if you have added Google 2FA. However, at the end of the day, it's possible to recover somehow since you are the original owner; they might probably verify you again. Try to contact their support instead of creating a scam accusation. We really can't help you on this case.
