This thread got me thinking, How do we improve our luck in gambling? And then I stumbled about this video when I was about to sleep:



The game is craps, not a regular player of this game but you have to avoid rolling 7. But this guys learn how to control the dice roll such that they can avoid that number and continue to roll.

It was said that they can do it like 30 or 40 rolls without hitting 7. Maybe you just have to watch that video and see how they improved their chances of winning. This could be just one game that someone might have beaten the odds. I'm not sure what to think... It's an interesting video, like a movie story, but is it really possible? Craps is not a popular game in my country, and I am not sure if there are any casinos with crap tables. I never saw one... except in movies. I only see this on Chinese movie which they can control the dice outcome but realistically speaking I doubt someone can possibly control the outcome on his own will by just mastering the proper throw.

There’s some video related to craps before that some dice can be controlled with magnets which some user are speculating Evolution craps is using it to manipulate the result.

I love this game but suddenly this game is hidden on my game browser from evolution gaming.

If this works outside just imagination and movies, then as you can see the casino will kick you out of the casino for beating the house and your account and funds can get locked.

So in the end if it works, then it seems to be a skill so difficult to master that casinos simply can ignore it. A thing to take into account is that in a casino you're doing the trick in public, not inside your house where you can have "laboratory conditions". It's possible the dices are a bit heavier or less heavy than normal for example, and if you fail then you can lose a lot of money in the worst case.

It's perhaps not much more than people playing poker at the casino knowing about odds like professional poker players do.

I didn’t watch the whole video, but I already understood the main idea after 10 minutes , although I still watched till mid.

If many people could actually do it and maintain it at the same time, it would have been cancelled a long time ago. The fact that they allow such stories to get more attention is just to give more people hope that they can do it. That means more money for the casino but I’m not saying YOU can’t do it, everything is mindset

I have not heard of this game but from your explanation, I don't see anything special that will give the gambler edge in the game. Just like you said, if the casinos spot some loopholes that gamblers can exploit to win gain some form advantage over them, they will strike without mercy because the game is supposed to be fair to both sides, at least that is what they made us believe.  Hence, this game my just be a disaster waiting to happen.

In the case of crap, the idea of a hack must have been bringing in more players who would normally not try it out.

I actually don't know how effective this is but if it's as effective as it sounds then they just might not share it in the first place. That aside casinos do a routine check on their algorithms so they can ensure people are not cheating and that's how they fix some of these flaws.

For most casinos if you eventually get the better of them before they can notice depending on the amount they can flag your withdrawal and sometimes deny it with terms and conditions.

Just watched the intro and it looks like a nice documentary so I'll give it a watch later. I'd like to learn about something similar like this about sports betting and I don't think anything of such nature exist for sports betting because it takes more than just luck to win there. I don't know craps game, but I can affirm to normal dice game being controlled with the outcome. As a boy I watched my father beat almost anyone on dice games, he could get a double six easily by positioning his dice in the cup and using his pattern to throw it on the table. It felt like magic, but he later informed me he has done this for years and can position his dice and throw effectively. Watching this video above, I couldn't agree less since I have a background experience of seeing my own dada control the randomness of throws on dice games, so I believe it is possible to achieve such mastery in throws by a person.
