If we consider the current bearish scenario, then yes, Bitcoin is "boring". Even more so for newcomers into crypto. But for seasoned veterans like myself, Bitcoin is still exciting. The dip in market prices means we can get more BTC cheaply. With low network fees (in Fiat terms), we can use Bitcoin as much as we want without "breaking the bank". Only for a short period of time, of course. Because once the market turns bullish again, the "fun" will stop.
The market in any phase, bullish or bearish, is good for some people and bad for most people because basically in a same market and a zero-sum game, the majority lose money while only the minority can get profit.
With bear market, it is boring and even panic, fearful with the majority while with market makers and intelligent investors. If they can take advantage of bear market that is boring and unprofitable with the majority, they will have very good accumulation and preparation for market recovery from bear price area and a next bull market.
You will make more money as a result of the bull run (if you bought BTC before), but it would be more expensive to use BTC for daily payments. While the hype cools down during bear season, developers continue to build new solutions to make BTC more exciting in the long run. I'd just forget about the price in the time being.
That's exactly like this. Without a bear market, there will be no bull market and market makers as well as experienced and intelligent investors see bear market as most interesting time, not bull market. Most of their actions for profit are in bearish months, not in bullish months when the bull market will naturally bring profit if they already build up their portfolio with good price entries in the bear market before.
