All Japan fight, so we will see who will be Japanese number one fighter as Inoue and Nakatani will clash at Tokyo Dome in May 2. Boxing fans here have been wanting to see this fight to settle once and for all who the best between the two.

Although recently, Nakatani struggled Sebastian Hernandez wherein almost everyone is saying that this is going to be an easy fight for Nakatani. While Inoue beat Picasso in his last fight, a successful defense of his undisputed super bantamweight titles.

I think the favorite will still be Naoya Inoue here, I'm seeing that Nakatani could be like 3:1 underdog here based on their last performance. As you have said, Inoue has a great fight against David Picasso while Nakatani barely survived against Hernandez and his performance was not that impressive. But still, he did call Inoue after that and now everything is set for this two Japanese fighters to settle the crown for the best Japanese boxer. It might be a hard fought fight, but I will go with Inoue here, he has more power and we haven't seen anyone close to beating Inoue before (maybe Donaire in their first encounter). And I'm not sure why boxing fans are not discussing this fight as this is also a huge event. Maybe it's because of the announcement of Floyd vs Manny, but in any case, I think we should look at this fight as well.

Not difficult as what we say, boxers are only good as in their last fight. As you have said, Nakatani beat Hernandez but it looks like the boxing community is split with the decision. Even in the other community when I posted this, they are saying that Nakatani could have lost his fight.

So skill per skill Inoue is going to be the favorite here. Nakatani though is like a torn on Inoue so he needs to show not just in Japan, but in the boxing world that Naoya is the best boxer right now coming out from that country. And if it live up to the expectations, this could be a fight of the year candidate and Inoue might be the fighter of the year if he is going to win the war.

Inoue destroys it and I don't think it's a balanced fight. Nakatani makes too many mistakes, but as soon as he fixes himself he becomes a fucking terminator. I think he demolishes Nakatani the same way we thought it would be a balanced fight with Fulton, but it wasn't.

Inoue destroys it and I don't think it's a balanced fight. Nakatani makes too many mistakes, but as soon as he fixes himself he becomes a fucking terminator. I think he demolishes Nakatani the same way we thought it would be a balanced fight with Fulton, but it wasn't.

Inoue keeps improving as well, although he want seen his weakness when Nery knock him down. That is the first time that we have seen Inoue vulnerable in a fight. But he rose up, got back from the canvass and then deliver a knockout.

Fulton could be one of his few hype fight, except maybe against Donaire. Because that is the time that we have seen him fighting a supposedly great champion, but same result, he knock him out. This could end bad for Nakatani in the end and not seeing the fight going to the judges scorecards.

Both fighters are undefeated, and someone's 0 is going to go, and it could not be Inoue. Junto is a tough boxer, but Inoue is on another level in the division.
Junto can pose a big challenge, but eventually the monster will just swallow whatever he gives out. There's no question that Inoue is a far better fighter, but I don't rule out an upset could happen because Junto is capable of pulling one off.

Nakatani is a tough fighter, but not tough enough to beat Inoue. Inoue is just unbeatable in the Super Bantam. I don't think any fighter in that weight category can challenge him, even Nakatani, who had a hard time in his last fight against Hernandez, but it's better that they meet to settle who is the best Japanese fighter in this era on paper and in the ring.
Inoue should consider moving up to the Featherweight division, where the real challenges lie; he is staying in the Super Bantamweight division.

This fight got overshadowed by the Pacquiao vs. Mayweather announcement, but I still expect it to be a huge event. Nakatani left some doubts in his last fight. He arguably could have lost that fight, but he also showed a lot of toughness. The lessons he learned from that experience could be used to improve himself and prepare for Inoue.

As they say, styles make fights. One difficult fight isn’t enough to make this a foregone conclusion. Nakatani still has some qualities that can give Inoue a serious challenge. In particular, the height difference is where Nakatani has an advantage. He is also a powerful puncher. In my opinion, this is going to be the toughest fight of Inoue’s career.

After watching Nakatani’s last fight, I’m actually more convinced this could turn into a one-sided match. Inoue just looks on a different level, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he ends it by KO. Both are among the best of their generation in Japan, so it’s exciting on paper, but skill-wise Inoue still seems ahead.

If it's not going to happen, Casimero has something to brag about in the future, and Inoue's haters will blame him for avoiding a fighter who has the potential to give him a beating.

Inoue has faced, and will continue to face, tough challengers in whatever division he is in, except for Casimero, whom he thinks is not on his level, even though many people think he can give him a good fight.

Casimero will continue to be the ghost that will haunt him until retirement, and Casimero will always laugh and mock him, thinking that Inoue is afraid of him, and many boxing fans will think that Casimero is right.

Performanced wise based on their last fights, Inoue has a big edge against Nakatani; it's not going to be a boring fight, but the outcome is very predictable.
I am not excited about Inoue fighting fighters in the Super Bantamweight division. It's the featherweight that will give him a challenge, and where people want to see him fight, he should do a Pacquiao, move higher after he conquers the lower category.
