As a gambler have you ever felt that you are been monitoring anytime you losses

I have been having this feeling and i thought of bregin it here to share my feelings because i don't know if anyone here might be having these same thoughts, like the way i do gamble, i gamble careful and responsible with a few odds with a big amount that i can afford to lose and i will end up losing the ticket by one game cutting from the ticket, and  i will take a break till the next week, i will share the odds into different tickets just to make sure that i wining but yet it seems that i have someone that is monitoring or preventing me from winning and you know how painful it is to see your tickets cut by one game, and i know the fact that no one is monitoring or preventing me from winning but i just want to know why i keep having such feelings anytime i losese and i don't know if anyone has the same thought too.

I don't know how many games you normally combine in a single slip; that alone could be the challenge that you're facing. When I started betting, especially on sports, I usually ended up losing by having cut one or two. I used to combine a maximum of 7 games, but most of the time 5 games. This normally cut losses. Lessons learned since I don't combine more than 3 games in a slip. Either I play 1 or 2 and maximum of 3 games in one betting slip.

That might just be your feeling, because sometimes when we lose and feel uncomfortable, we overthink, and that's what you feel. It feels like something's preventing you from winning, or other strange thoughts like, "My account is really bad." Anything can happen, and whatever we think, when we overthink what we get.

Try to feel it when you're on a lucky streak, winning continuously for several times. Do you feel it's strange or not? If not, and you just think it's just luck, compare your feelings to situations where you feel strange when you lose.

And if I may ask, who is preventing you from winning? And what makes you think or feel someone is monitoring you and making you  run at loss? Are you trying to talk about superstition or what  because I do not think what you are saying here to be valid as what I can say is that gambling is a thing of luck and sometimes or could be for you and sometimes the reverse could be the case so this is why gamblers are advised to gamble with what they could afford to lose so it doesn't bother them at all just like what you are saying. So to avoid saying all these, you have to gamble with the mindset of having fun so that you don't think as all  these you are saying here. It is kind of absord so.

This is quite common in Africa, when people face misfortune several times they will think that their enemies are using diabolical means to block their success and they will visit fake spiritualists and prophets for solution who will then scam them.

I don't no why is some African whay when almost all the countries are also gambling and losing as others without believing there was someone behind all the gambling they have been losing. In gambling someone could only have enemies based on normal dislike but not that the enemies will use the spiritual to follow their gambling so that they wouldn't win as they gamble. Perhaps op was thinking there is nothing causing it other than people whom he believes doesn't want to see his progress. Some feelings people develop are the cause of there problems because when someone believes an enemy is monitoring them anywhere they go, they will start going to places to seek for solutions when truly they're not having any problem so actually even if I loss a streak hundred times in gambling I wouldn't say it was someone.

This is the first time I've read about someone being watched and prevented from winning. It's a figment of your mind, you are having a guillt or paranoia, you have to address this feeling if you find it annoying by talking to a specialist, they are the ones who can interpret this feeling, and they have a solution on how to cure that feeling of being watched.

Your mind is saying something, and it's being relayed through your feelings. My advice to you is to talk to a physician and ask them how to get rid of this feeling.

No matter how good or effective we might think our strategies and skills are, what they really does at the end of the day is increase our chances of winning and not to guarantee us a win. I thought that way in my early days when I started gambling, because I only lost. I chose many football matches, but I couldn't get even one right, and that frustrated me. When I thought about giving up, I'd see an email with a free betting bonus, so I'd bet and get lucky enough to win. I kept betting, this went on for a month, and then I stopped gambling for years. It is easy to bypass this "monitoring" which in my opinion is imaginary as we think all sort of things when we are losing money. You can bypass it by starting to play just single games tickets and if you are having success with them, start moving to 2 games small parlay tickets, if again you are having success move on to 3 games parlays and so on. One person cannot directly place parlays with 7 or more games and blame it on someone monitoring as it is just the randomness that makes you lose the tickets, to many unknown factors in so many different games in a single tickets. I had the same thoughts as you before but very soon I started thinking that the more you add to a parlay, the more the probability to lose it and vice versa fewer games in a ticket the bigger the chances to get win from that ticket.

Why will you feel that way when you are gambling responsibly with the amount you can afford to lose? Honestly, your statement doesn't sound like someone that is gambling responsibly because I don't know why you would claim to be a fun gambler and still have negative thought after losses. However, to make it easier for you I think you should stop gambling with big amount that you can not afford to lose because when you say you are gambling for fun and entertainment it should be only small amount and not big amount because your explanation shows that you are only after to get rich overnight in gambling.

So I don't have such negative thought when gambling because I know that gambling depends on luck.

This kind of feeling sounds very superstitious, and not common AFAIK. Everyone experiences losses as far as a gambling is concerned. Infact, In my early days of gambling, I actually experienced more of losses than wins because of my approach, but I never saw it as a problem caused by someone else that was monitoring me or whatsoever. I'm not exactly sure of why you're still struggling to win even after switching from parlay betting to single bets. It seems there is something you're probably not doing right. Do you even understand the type of sport/games you're betting on?.

I understand what he's saying and it isn't really from a superstitious aspect because I have also had the same mindset about this. it's mainly a thinking that the games are always being manipulated by the bookies especially when it seems like even the games you are very sure of ended up as a loss. I know the feel. Sometimes it feels like someone is monitoring you every time you lose, but that's just part of the gambling experience. Parlay is always a risky bet, no matter how well you analyze your picks. There will always be one or two games that can mess up your whole ticket. I usually keep my parlay to just 2-3 games per ticket with odds around 1.5x to 3x. The more games you add, the bigger the risk. Sometimes fewer picks with proper analysis can give you better results.
