Often when we keep losing by a very small margin our mind automatically tries to find a reason for it and making us feel as if someone is watching or deliberately causing us to lose.

That's the reason why some gambler find it difficult to accept losses, they always want to have a special reasons for themselves that will make them feel okay or have the need to fight back at the bookie so that they can win back what they have lost to the casino. If we actually feel that someone is preventing us from winning outside the normal circumstances of gambling, then the person is just being delusional.
I don't know why most gamblers normally feel bad about losses it is normal thing that is already in the game so the best we need to do while gambling is to accept it with a full heart and not by complaining after the outcome doesn't work for you. Despite that money is involved in the game doesn't mean you would be on lucky streak all the time without losing that is not the games works, we need to put ourselves together and accept any outcome without regretting at last.

For me, it's a normal reaction for a gamble to feel bad when they losses, it's how you are going to accept and just move forward. No need to find any excuses, it's just the breaks of the game, and this time, it didn't go your way. Although others might feel differently just like what the OP describe, and it seems to defy what we know off about gambling. But then again, we are putting money in the line without knowing the results are, which means if we lose then our mind will find a way or reasons for losing when we thought that it could be a guarantee win for us. I wouldn't say delusional, I don't what to put it that way, our mind is just playing tricks on us to protect ourselves not to mentally lose.

There has never been a moment it felt good to lose money, the pain gets worse when the losing is consistent like the everyday experience of most gamblers. Also complaints won't slow down anytime, gamers won't condone the harsh feeling to the extent of not sharing how losing too often makes them feel, regrets will definitely be there unless the lost money is small and acceptable.

As a gambler you must learn to accept loses as a part of the game, even if you're gambling for fun with amounts that you can afford to loose you will still feel bad no matter how small when you lose. If you cannot accept loses it means that you shouldn't be in gambling because it is about winning and loses so you should always prepare your mind that you can lose whenever you play. Don't ever think that somebody is behind your loses because winnings are by luck and if you haven't won means that you're not lucky yet but if you're on a losing streak you should take a break from gambling so it doesn't disturb you emotionally.

I don't play for big money, so I don't feel a heavy financial burden from losses. But it's definitely unpleasant when you lose all the money you've put into the game, it's not at all satisfying.
If I suddenly get carried away and lose everything I've put into the game, I might give up playing altogether for a while. It's more about feeling like a loser. As for the feeling of someone watching you, especially when I'm losing, yes, that someone is the inner critic, which becomes especially harsh during times of failure.

That's the feeling you get when you have lost too much money to gambling, it could be a calling to take some time off, this happiness most to those who want to rely entirely on gambling as a source of income.

There is nothing better than risking small amount of money on gambling, and big amount of money on investments, one is pretty reliable than the other even though the risks are present in both.

I am not trying to degrade gambling, I am only trying to protect people from what gambling could make out of them, gambling is a good example of ' becareful what you wish for'.

I have been having this feeling and i thought of bregin it here to share my feelings because i don't know if anyone here might be having these same thoughts, like the way i do gamble, i gamble careful and responsible with a few odds with a big amount that i can afford to lose and i will end up losing the ticket by one game cutting from the ticket, and  i will take a break till the next week, i will share the odds into different tickets just to make sure that i wining but yet it seems that i have someone that is monitoring or preventing me from winning and you know how painful it is to see your tickets cut by one game, and i know the fact that no one is monitoring or preventing me from winning but i just want to know why i keep having such feelings anytime i losese and i don't know if anyone has the same thought too.
Losing a bet simply because 1 game got cut is actually one of the most painful feelings while gambling, and most especially when it becomes consistent, it is only natural for one to think maybe is he/she was destined never to win a bet while gambling, while forgetting the fact that those are random coincidence that usually occurs in sport betting. And because of this very scenario, is the major reason why majority of gamblers now prefer to cash out their bets once they notice once they noticed they have gotten 10x or more than what they used in placing a bet on the exact game, which is literally not a crime, to avoid losing entirely. So to O.P, if you notice your last game usually cuts, then it's better to take cash out before the last game.

Since you know that no one is actually monitoring and preventing you from having a win, you should know that what you are experiencing is a mere reaction or response from a loss which is just a normal thing that happens when you are not happy with a particular result that is not favorable to you.

The casino obviously knows who wins and who looses but they don't change the bet you make and can not equally influence the outcome of most of the event gamblers bet on because the events are outside what they can control.

Bro, there isn’t any connection between someone watching you and your gambling.  Nobody is monitoring or stopping you from winning. I will say that feeling is just coming from frustration when things do not go your way.

I will say you’re sounding like you are letting a lot of emotion enter when you gamble. And once emotions start to mix with money, everything will starts to feel personal. But gambling is just probability. It’s a 50/50 kind of thing, sometimes it goes your way, sometimes it doesn’t.

If you lose, accept it for what it is. If you win, good..

You are feeling something that is really pretty common in the midst of those that gamble, mostly if you invest carefully and yet you lose. It is called near-miss bias, your brain reacts firmly if you nearly win, hence, making it seem like there is an interference by something or someone, even if it is only a chance. Losing only by one game usually triggers frustration as well as the illusion of control, and that can make it feel personal. A lot of gamblers report same thoughts, thereby thinking luck or an external force is against them. Identifying that losses are random, without target, would help to reduce these feelings. Taking a break, setting limits one stakes, and reflecting on the role of chance is capable of making feel less stressful and much more controlled.

It’s natural to feel sad when you lose a game, necessarily not even in the gambling space. And most times after losing for the long term, you would start developing some unimaginable thoughts,at that stage you just need to pause your bet in other to have a stable mental health. There’s absolutely nobody monitoring your bet or hindering you from winning, you’re just hallucinating.Speaking from my own perspective,I haven’t reached the stage where after losing several bet I would accrue blame on an individual or the betting company.

Grief following loss is a normal human behaviour in each aspect of life. It is vital to understand that it is not any person who determines the outcome of a bet as doing this would be very easy when one remains in his right frame of mind. Maintaining mental health when negative thoughts get in is the best response to the problem, and to deal with gambling, it is recommended to take a break. Making all the financial decisions ourselves will help us to take personal responsibility and not to blame other people. This keeps us upright and in peace when confronted with hard times.

Essentially, the outcome of our gambling or betting has nothing to do with other people, whether it is being monitored or observed from somone. Even if someone were monitoring your gambling, they couldn't prevent you from winning, unless they had access to change, or cancel your bet. So, I think what you are experiencing is just an irrational feeling, and I think you need a lot of rest or take a temporary break from gambling, until those strange feelings don't resurface when you lose. I think it is all just a matter of your emotions getting out of control when you lose, causing you to overthink things.

As for the feeling of someone watching you, especially when I'm losing, yes, that someone is the inner critic, which becomes especially harsh during times of failure.
if you participate in gambling with a money that you lose and you will feel about the money you will think twice about gambling and you will be regretting for participating, but if you don't gamble with what you can regret on if you lose there's no amount of loss that we experience that will make you to think otherwise in the gambling, so I know very well that gambling is all about understanding and not being emotional because what makes some people will be into financial problem when they lose in gambling is when they cannot control the emotions in gambling and they emotion controls them when he comes to complete

Lol, many losing gamblers have the illusion that some invisible person, evil fate, or powerful bookmaker is secretly watching them and preventing them from winning. It's actually a very funny illusion. In fact, not only losses but all failures in life in general can be explained, for example, by the machinations of some evil forces. I think that's what primitive people thought—all misfortunes are because someone is interfering with them, and all happy accidents are not random at all, but are their achievements. Modern gamblers are also susceptible to these illusions and cognitive distortions.

I think it is part of human nature to feel this way. Every losses we experience, we tend to overthink some angles to the point that you would blame every factor in order to justify it. However, we must also realize that the biggest problem here is not our external environment but us specifically.

Monitoring your losses is part of being responsible as a human person. When you track your losses, you would definitely feel regrets and guilt but these emotions make you stronger and smarter because you would do your best to prevent the past from happening again.

Modern gamblers are also susceptible to these illusions and cognitive distortions.

That is true- they tend to justify their losses to other factors that are extremely far-fetched. The problem here lies within yourself, not the factors that you cannot control.

Instead of letting this bother you, make it as a learning experience for you to do better. The more you ponder about the past, the more chances that you would blame your wrongdoings to others instead of yourself, thus halting maturity.

It is only those that is gambling with huge amount of funds will be panicking when losing in gambling because they are there to turn to a wealthy man or woman than to gamble for fun and be happy for the day, i have heard a lot of gamblers who lost to some point and started selling things to recover his funds back from gambling, which is not the best solution to anyone that may find himself or herself in such condition in the future, taking a break when experiencing loses in gambling, it will help you to think wisely to know what to do not to make your losses higher than your winning, that attitude is very common among some gamblers that is losing because joy will be far from such gamblers at the moment until they started winning before you can see them smiling.

What you’re feeling is actually common in gambling and not new to us when you consistently lose by one leg, your brain looks for a pattern or someone controlling it, even though it’s just variance and probability playing out. Near misses are especially painful because they create the illusion that you were so close, which emotionally hits harder than a total loss. It’s not someone monitoring you hence it’s the psychological effect of randomness plus expectation, and recognizing that already shows you’re thinking more rationally than you realize.

No one monitoring me if I lost money in gambling. Maybe that is just your feeling so that makes you thinks that someone watching you behind.

If you visiting casino with your friends, they are watching your gambling activity so you will feels monitoring by them. They can say many things about you and makes feels bad. But if you alone, you don't have to think much.

Instead feeling been monitoring someone, it is better you focus with your games. Just leaving that feeling and enjoy the games.

I understand what you are saying because losing a single game can be quite an emotional experience. When it occurs frequently, it begins to make it personal as though something is happening against you despite the fact that it does not make sense logically. It is also very frustrating when there is a near-miss as this leaves you with the impression that you were very close to winning. That emotional effect is greater than an utter loss. Well, it is only a matter of chance and luck. It is not a bad nor irresponsible idea to take breaks like you do.
