There are high rank reputed members of this forum, who have similar names to them, and no one will get any benefit by creating an account except creating confusion. I also think that by creating an account matching the name of a user, no one will get any extra benefit. For this, new users will also have to think about how they will popularize themselves in this forum with their own different name without copying anyone.
I think making a username similar should be unacceptable, because it can be misused. If it is left and the account grows, wouldn't any of us think it was an alternate account of the imitated username.
After all, to create a username there are many sentences if you just want to make a username for example "
Allower" or even something that cannot be read even if it is "
xxxprt". Isn't that more acceptable than having to imitate someone else's username.
Even if it doesn't have any added benefits like you say, at least not everyone thinks it's an alternative account.
