If you can't control what you have, then you aren't fit to have that thing... This should apply apply to every organization be it the the big and also the small...And from what I have realized so far, for organization to be able to control what they have( their employees), they have to ensure that firstly their is an intense screening before hiring any worker.. Most folks got kicked out from their previous organizations due to negative attitudes to works, so as organizations, always try and know the about the history of whoever you want to employer, it dosen't matter what he/she wrote in their CV.
The next thing organization can do to ensure that they are able to control/ handle their employees is that each employee roles should be clearly defined, you don't expect a single individual to work at the administrative unit today, and the next day that folks is being ask to join the cleaners and whatnot such daily changing could lead to frustration and as such people's negative attitudes. In addition to setting clearly defined roles it is also important that rules are set in place, this rule should always be enforced so as to ensure discipline among workers... Controlling your employee should always be the priority of every organizations.. Control here doesn't mean oppression or creating fear, rather it mean setting a direction and standard that every employee must live up to....

As an employee you must be very cautious because it is difficult to spot internal fraud and the reason for that is the employees already understand the structure of the company and their way around a lot of thngs due to the fact that they have been working there for a while. To control or prevent this as an employer you must put in measures in place to monitor the staffs and scrutinise the work that they do.

In summary, a business owner needs to be hands on with their business and I agree. Because it is their business and they can't wholly trust their employees even if they have a hired manager to do stuff for them including the monitoring and the watch of their employees. It's possible that it can also work with the other stuff to do such things against your company, like cheating the sales, the inventories and the reports. So if you're a business owner, you protect your business and you trust no one as if all of them are going to turn their back against you anytime.
Honestly if you are the one who makes all the money then employee doesn't have to care about the business as much as you do. I get that they are making a salary but if you fire them then they could find another job, whereas you are stuck with that business. If they fail, worst case you will just fire them, but if they fail big, then you will bankrupt because of them or lose a lot of money. This is why trusting your employees is not a guarantee and you should try to not do that.

However an organization does not become strong by just controlling the employees and sometimes excessive control reduces the creativity and initiative, People then work only to avoid making mistakes, not to do something good, So I think choosing the right people is important, but even more important is to give them an environment where they want to take responsibility on their own, there will be rules but if they are only for punishment, a negative mindset is created and if they are for guidance, people will follow the discipline themselves, In my opinion a good organization is one where control is less needed because the system and culture are so clear that people want to do things properly on their own.

Problem solving diverts focus on creativity to fixing problems which wouldn't have been a threat had the organisation gave more attention to quality creativeness. In this form employees get to grow with the business routine of having a free mind in running their daily tasks, those who do not portray or exhibit the standard gets screened out to sustain the growth of the business. Every company knows what she wants, workers who don't meet to the need stands a chance to try somewhere else.

It's important for business owners to have accounting knowledge to be able to track what actually goes in and out of the company's cash flow. Nowadays, there's a lot of talk about delegating tasks so that the business owner can focus on other areas, but it's extremely important that they don't completely disconnect. I read an article here in Brazil about an employee who embezzled over $100,000 to gamble. Crazy, right?

A business person who owns a company must ensure to have internal control and structure in your organisation. With a functional internal control, employees display best practices, discipline and solemnity with how they dispose their jobs, resume and attend to work on time etc.
Most definitely they say the enemy of a man is within his environment, sometimes what usually results to a breakdown in a company or workforce is basically manipulated or accompanied by an insider whereas I would label that as an intruder. Mostly when an information about a company is been leaked the organization should take heed in making sure such individuals in apprehended immediately to avoid further occurrences.

Mostly when an information about a company is been leaked the organization should take heed in making sure such individuals in apprehended immediately to avoid further occurrences. I've seen incidents like the one you describe all too often in real life, where a thriving business can be instantly destroyed by insiders, with the business owner never even realizing it from the start. So, the essence of this saying seems undeniable, as there are countless examples of companies or businesses being destroyed by the people around them. My suggestion is that companies with a large number of employees should conduct a monthly evaluation of this situation to ensure company secrets are truly secure and prevent them from being leaked to external parties.

Sometimes the biggest challenge that leads to business shutdown isn't from external competitions around the business environment but from within the workforce.
A business person who owns a company must ensure to have internal control and structure in your organisation. With a functional internal control, employees display best practices, discipline and solemnity with how they dispose their jobs, resume and attend to work on time etc. Internal financial theft and misconduct are detected asap, then reducing the risk of collapse of the organisation from internally which are related with employee fraud.
Handling employee fraud is very important in business because if we do not have survelieance system in place from the start, we won't be able to judge anyone's character unless we see it with our own eyes but with a proper surveillance system, we can keep an eye on everyone's actions like what they are doing, how they are doing and we should conduct regular tests to judge them depending on the business and job they are given. There are special hiring departments for this, and every company has Human Resources department, who are responsible for hiring, maintaing the employee from training to their ethical assessment and all that. Also they work and plan to keep their employee attached to them so they don't leave for another company after learnig from you.

Perhaps a well rounded routinely monthly evaluation can be set in place in the organisation which could be a form of internal surveillance on job performance, financial arrangements and expenditures, and on the part of external surveillance that would be another layer of security within work environment against internal theft is the installation of CCTV cameras in and around the workplace. It helps monitor situations without you directly having eye on everyone.

Changing someone's tasks is definitely not a smart way to do, because if you do that then you are not going to get the best out of a person. But in most cases if you have an employee that is fraud the company itself, I do not care how much value that employee has for the team, you have to fire that person the moment you learn about it. Even having a bit of a doubt and unsure for just a moment then all other employees will start to think that if they are good enough then they can fraud the company as well. You have to make an example out of that employee so that everyone would know that if you are fraud the company, if you are stealing from it or making a mistake against it, then you are going to be fired right away.
