Hardware wallets are the best form of crypto storage. Although I have never used the mentioned wallet, I don't believe I have ever seen any reviews that would justify not buying their products. Persnonally, I would rather grab a Trezor device instead.

Properly set up paper wallets are cold wallets. Wallets on airgapped devices are cold wallets.

If you know how to set up a multisig wallet, it is better than a singlesig wallet.

Let's say it's better for security on the one hand (compared to hot wallets), but if you buy such devices online with delivery to your address, you take the risk that your data will fall into the wrong hands. This has happened many times, including the company that produces the device you mention.

If you ever decide to buy such a device, try to find an official reseller that has a physical store, or use PO Box as the delivery address and pay with cryptocurrencies.

You are not storing bitcoin in cold wallets, you are just using them to sign transactions.
What you are usually storing on hardware wallets is seed phrase, but you need to have backup in physical form.
Bitbox is decent hardware wallet, but there are better options available in 2026, new Trezor devices are better in my opinion.
