There's a very stressful bug happening with the Trezor Suite biometric feature when it's enabled:

Sometimes, after Trezor Suite requests biometric unlocking, my PC/laptop doesn't recognize the keyboard and mouse no more. When I press any key on the keyboard, it interprets them as shortcuts like: opening a context menu, closing a page or window, etc. Every time this happens, I'm forced to restart the laptop.

I've never seen anything like this happen before, the first time it happened I was completely confused. Has anyone else experienced something similar?

These freezing episodes happened even after successive software updates. So I disabled biometrics.

Searching on google, this was the only report similar to mine that I found:

App freezes after putting in your biometrics [Potential fix - update to Version 6.39.1]

Regarding the biometric authentication feature available in Trezor Suite: https://trezor.io/guides/trezor-suite/biometric-authentication

Trezor suite v26.2.3

Well although I've not really experienced this with trezor first hand I'm sure it's a software issue probably something that has to do with the biometric drivers and usb bus drivers. If you are using windows it's possible there's a temporary mismanagement of input focus or HID drivers when it's trying to authenticate.

It's possible that the biometric dialog takes control and leaves the keyboard in a kinda stuck state. Have you tried to update your drivers and bios?

My laptop has a native device manager that came pre-installed from LG (my laptop is an LG), and whenever updates appear, I update everything through it, at the moment, they're all updated.

In Device Manager (from windows), when I select a drive, I'm informed that all drivers are updated.

I'll open a question about this later on the Trezor forum.

I can remember most times if I wanted an updated driver set for windows I usually visit the site of the laptop producer which in your case is LG. From there you plug in your model number and get your set then you download and install.  Sometimes even when in settings it says up to date it may not really be.

Well now that you mentioned this I really am not sure of what the actual problem might be even if I still. Doubt it's hardware related. Nevertheless if you've been able to fix this please don't hesitate to share the solution here just mostly for learning purposes.

I couldn't solve it, I just disabled biometric authentication in Trezor Suite. I think it's not mature enough yet.

Oh, I forgot to mention that the KeepassXC password manager also has biometric authentication for Windows and it always worked very well without this strange bug. I also use biometric authentication to access websites and services compatible with passkeys, and it always worked normally as well.

So, in fact, the problem isn't with the hardware, since only Trezor Suite presented this issue.

You can try sending bug report to Trezor from Trezor Suite or write it directly on Trezor github page, they will surely check it out.
I never enabled biometrics since it is only working with wind0ws, and that OS is known as biggest spyware ever.
It's not a good idea to keep Trezor Suite always open, and Trezor device connected, so biometrics are useless for me.

I didn't remember that. I just reported it from Trezor Suite. It's located in the icon right corner of Trezor Suite.

I also opened a thread on the Trezor Forum and someone with the customer support tag replied that they are aware and are already working on a fix.

I didn't open an issue on github yet because it's a personal account, maybe I should create another account just for reports.

I haven't enabled biometrics in Trezor Suite and I am not planning to do it. It has nothing to do with this possible bug, though. I just don't want to use it.

I did experience a bug that was unique to Trezor Suite in the past, and I talked about it on the forum. It had something to do with the USB mouse I used at the time. If that mouse was connected when I started Trezor Suite, the app would often not recognize my clicks and when it did, it recognized one click as two or three. It was very annoying. I never managed to fix it. It affected all other apps and the entire system while Trezor Suite was running. The only solution was to disconnect the mouse or close Trezor Suite. I did some research but couldn't find reports by other users who experienced the same thing.

In the meantime I have switched to a different mouse and it's not happening with this one. It was a weird hardware and software incompatibility.

It’s not surprising that you found nothing, because to reproduce such behavior someone would need the exact same mouse model to ensure its USB HID descriptor matches that one relevant to your old mouse. So, by changing the mouse you actually found the quickest solution to the problem, so in my view there’s no need for you to spend time chasing the culprit. Linux is full of surprises. I assume you’re on Linux.

Actually, I am not on Linux. I use Windows.

Another interesting thing that I remember with that old mouse of mine was that it created issues with one of my laptops during booting. It only happened with that mouse and for that laptop, not my other laptops. I have multiple ones for different purposes. The laptop wouldn't boot if the mouse was connected to the USB when powering on. The fans would go nuts and start rotating at full speed with the screen staying black. The machine would remain like that until I disconnect the mouse, then after a few seconds the fans would calm down and the booting process would begin. Also, that laptop isn't the one that I use with my Trezor. The mouse affected both machines differently.
