I have not tried to compete for leader board before on a gambling site but I have played many games like Roulettes, Slots and others with autoplay before in a way that I can set the autoplay to 100 or more so that I do not have to be looking on the screen before I can be able to bet on the game with the same amount of money each time up to 100 times. I can even set it to more than 100 times.

I believe most of the user participating on wagering contest use auto bet features since it’s time consuming to bet manually while casino offers auto bet that you can use for that specific purpose.

I do use auto bet with multiple game open on different tab that runs at the same time to accumulate wager on different games using minimum bet only.

What is rare is someone playing manually when he intended to participate on wager race event.

Shouldn't the contest terms or general ToS cover this stuff? If the platform believes it's a breach of rules, then it's probably not allowed, though I'm not sure how they're going to enforce that consistently. Based on my understanding, realistically, the only thing the bot does is save time; it's not going to reduce the capital cost to participate (unless there's a short limit or something similar). At the end of the day, you need to clarify with the CS if the rules are ambiguous. CMIIW.

No. I play normally, if I win some bonus for doing so, then good (which I have received a couple times albeit nothing significant). I am of the opinion that chasing bonus might drain more money than what you would gain as reward, so I never chase 'em in the first place.

However, I've used a bot before to wager a deposit bonus and I used Seuntjies DiceBot to create a strategy to prolong my deposit bonus balance and in order to meet wagering requirements. In your case you've said that sit and spin but in reality, slots and other games have automated bet and most of the casino games (aside from poker, sports betting and some other more) and I think most participants are utilizing this feature and they can just leave their PC open though I'm not sure what kind of betting bot you're referring to.

I wasn't consciously chasing leaderboard, but this time I spent merely around 6$ to wager about 1K USD and got $6 as leaderboard reward. I think I need to try that again, and let's see if I was only lucky, or my 'strategy' really works  — BRB.

Edit: managed to wager 79 USD with 6 USD this time around, so it was all luck.

What's the point of betting bot if we are betting small size only, although we can run the bot for 24/7 but it will not give us better chance to win in wagering race because whale will come later in the last hours even minutes and beat us easily with much bigger bet size?

As far as I know the bots are not allowed as they have been found being responsible for not well behavior and causing glitches many years ago, I don't know now but I assume they are still considered breach of ToS if for example from bot playing you get in limbo or crash x1000000 multiplier.

For the wagering most people who are called whales use a different strategy, if they want to win the race they play a few hours but they play with very high balance and very high bet, no need to involve bots or scripts to achieve automated results.

Only few users here in the forum that I saw actively competing on casino wager race since this requires a lot of bankroll and patience to accumulate wager safely to make the tournament rewards still higher compared to the losses they will suffer on the games.

Low house edge games are the typical games being use on this tournament even the high roller. It’s convenient to use both to do the same bet over and over.

As a shrimp gambler, I never tried competing on tournament like this. Maybe on forum exclusive tournament only with limited number of participants.

I've actually come across such wagering contest where a user's rank in the table is determined by their total wager in 12 to 24 hours depending on which time duration the host of the contest chooses, but I personally have always avoided such contests like this because I don't usually like whatever will put me in any form of pressure especially in gambling..
But then, I think you are wrong though because realistically, you never should limit what people are capable of for whatever reason, I have absolutely no doubt that there are some people out there who don't mind sitting in front of their computer all day wagering to ensure they maintain their position at the top of the table, especially when the prize to be won is huge, this is often why I don't bother getting myself involved in contests like this because clearly; people i will be competing with are far ahead of me.

And speaking of wagering bot for contests like this, I've never seen any of such bot let alone trying one.

Those very same casinos are likely to have terms which strictly prohibits automation or using any kind of program/script to interact with their website - there can be all kinds of reasons, not least because it can effectively act as a denial of service attack if too many people were to do it, because bots can go wrong and also hit the next go much quicker than people. The wagering time restriction is often part of the reason that casinos create such (arguably manipulative) generous bonuses. The headline brings customers in but the small print stops them from ever reaching the target.

I have not tried but while I do not also have need for it is because I don't necessarily need to spin for 24 hours, for someone to automate the spin to remain continuous for a set period of time, the question of whether they are gambling for fun or for profit is then asked, if the person is only playing for profit, they even might not be guaranteed of the success. I don't like to apply this tools, playing anytime I have the urge to do so is what I'm very comfortable at.

Most wagering competitions are a waste of time unless you're a high roller. You can wager $1 bets for 24 hours on dice x1.01 using a bot and maybe wager 100k or something while a high roller or 10 can come in and make 10 bets to pass you. Small guys are only competing for the bottom 3 spots usually and you gotta figure out how to do that without losing more than your potential prize.

Acceptable, yes. IMO wagering is wagering whether that be manual or automatic. You made the bet it should count.

Personally it has no bearing to me unless the rank offers some kind of bonus. Maybe to others it has some bragging rights but I’d rather gamble on my own terms than try to achieve a specific rank.

I also don’t want to use a gambling bot because it personally takes away the fun of gambling itself unless I pre-condition it to select certain bets that I can check when I wake up.

It could be said that I have been gambling for a long time, especially slots and others, but I have never participated in the betting competition you mean, let alone the situation where it lasts for hours.

However, if the betting competition is funded with a max balance of 12-24 hours, it might be worth trying and it will automatically be applied. but if the balance is charged to users just for the ranking race I will refuse, no time to waste money there, but if it's all free it's not a problem.

I used the autobet feature of Plinko in Stake.com for a whole day because I was trying to reach the next VIP rank, and I was not really aiming for the bonus for the wagering requirement for the day. Yet, I did win a prize when the counting ended. I was surprised and was not really looking forward to that. Thankfully, I didn't spend much time doing that, and they gave me another bonus for reaching the next VIP rank.

We don't know how transparent the casino is with these leaderboards, so we may be left with a question mark and it's not unusual for this practice to exist.
Imagine if we take part in a slot betting competition at a casino then we small players will have very little chance and indeed the whales will win they can multiply the bet 10x bigger than us, then what about a streamer who places a big bet is it included in the leaderboard? This is also a question mark, right?
