I am curious what he was thinking when the scammer created these two accounts. Also, they could try to pretend to be other managers. But they chose these two. I believe they know very well that the relationship between these two managers isn't very good. Anyway, good to see that you spotted them already and they got nuked.

The two accounts were created by just one person. Check the date of creation.
They do not intend to replicate icopress or Royse merit or trust, they can just pretend to be the backup accounts of icopress and Royse. As daft as it might sound, you will be surprised that someone will still fall for the scam. That is how weird the internet is.

Now that these two are bursted, the permutations of producing accounts with similar username have reduced.

You also have another post on the Meta board and it is quite interesting that after you made that post on the 24th, by the very next day on the 25th, two accounts were created in the names of campaign managers. It looks like after seeing your post from the 24th, the spammer went ahead to create two more accounts to try and make the matter look more sensational. But creating all these random accounts will not really help them, they are just making useless efforts for nothing.

Now there is really no gain in doing all these things for the spammers because no matter how many times they try such tricks, they will still be exposed. Everyone needs to stay alert from their own side and never fall into such traps and any kind of transaction or conversation should always be handled carefully with proper checking and verification.

This an indication that scammers is all over the forum, maybe theirs target to create the accounts is to scam investors, I'm of the motion that the two account should be tag and ban, they don't have good intentions to the forum.

Who the hell will hire them to manage a campaign even if they are impersonating a forum username? If they tried on Telegram, then we can say they want to scam through Telegram.  Seriously, it's beginning to get annoying how these scammers get desperate. Who would pay a user $200 to promote a campaign where it would last 2 years? Like seriously? How would the payment be made? In Bitcoin or other altcoins? I don't know if there are high paying dig campaigns but I know that the only campaign that could pay that close is mixers and for now they aren't in operation so I wonder how these guys can convince users. Hell, what's the catch? It's just a big means to soil the names of these users because in the past the likes of Ab de Royse has been known to secure lucrative campaigns like this so they felt that using their names would fetch them the attention needed. This is so sick and I also support that they get nuked.

I could remember someone who created a thread on meta where he was asking about those who seem to bear a similar username to those that other members have already been using. That is technically possible to block usernames that are too close to existing ones or high profiles - but that could be blocking legitimate users with similar nick/names from registering - e.g we could have another legitimate new user with the nick "Nathrixx" (double x) come to register and not to impersonate you  most of the nick/usernames here were stolen/gotten from somewhere on the Internet  you understand the point I'm making?

Implementing is expensive, reporting the obvious impersonators to the mods is cheap and fast.

This is just the end target, basically what they wanted/will have been using these very 2 accounts to do is nothing else than scamming, which will be targeted mostly at newbies, where they will be following updates from the main two accounts of icopress and AB de Royse777, and be messaging people, and where without proper checks on the account you're mostly gonna fall for their traps because of the similarities between these account names.

What the fuck?
The number of such accounts increased suddenly. I feel like someone just decided to troll the entire forum and entertain us. We know very well that lovesmayfamilis won't create an alternative account just to say that people should DM her to review the tags she left. If she wants to review any tags, she could do it herself without telling to anyone in a public post.

Suppose I am a DT member. If I am not confident with my tags, why would someone include me on their trust list? I know that was just a troll who wanted to entertain us; however, I am just surprised that such accounts are appearing lately.
