Of course its delusional. In a perfect world, Trump would get charged and convicted just for saying that stuff. Or in the best case, locked up in a mental hospital, because it is obvious that he suffers from some serious mental disorders. But this isnt a perfect world. You are missing something huge here: global politics isnt some feel-good underdog story. The "good guys" are not just the ones with less power. Governments on all sides dont actually care about your freedom. What they want is power, leverage, and control.
If you really believe that a shift in global dominance means everyone suddenly gets to do whatever they want, you are not seeing how things work. Power vacuums dont lead to freedom. They just make room for the next bully to step in. So all you are doing is swapping one set of oppressors for another and pretending its some kind of progress.
