YOUTHS ARE THE LEADERS OF TOMORROW

Like they always says that youth are the leaders of tomorrow yet the old men and women don't want to give chance to these popular saying that i have been hearing from the days of childhood, you will see a country or state that the leaders that is govering those countries or states is just moving in a cycle or will i say that the leadership is on base on rotation from one old man to another, and where a president of a country will rule for 4 to 8 years and after some many years that the same old man will still come to contest for presidency and the people will elect there choices, yet the old man will win the presidency seat because there are country that the people votes doesn't count, so for me i believe that they are making  they young once that has the good ambition to their counties a better place than the old man but there is know opportunity of ruling the country or state and yet we keep hearing that we are the leaders of tomorrow and because i don't see a country that will elect a president that doesn't understand the heart of his in this digital generation, we need a digital president in this present generation.

The challenge is the institutions in such countries. They don't have strong institutions but strong rulers who are ready to crush the young people that tries to speak up or opposition with the military and armed men. So until the people are able to liberate themselves with their voices to unite and fight their battle as one people then the trend will continue. If you check all the countries that have liberated themselves from internal oppressors, they have fought a united war through different blocs and today every strata of their economy is working to achieve the greater united goal for the country. Country like US fought between North Pole and South Pole then they united as one to build the country that they call there own. So the Youths in such countries where their voices are not heard should be strategic and come together as one united force and begin to work out ways to go in government. But the problem is disunity. So, many of such young people work under the old people to sabotage effort of a united force.

Leaders they meant does not only concern the president of a nation but are people who are grown to be successful because if being a president is what they saying then how would the millions of youth become a president at a time considering the ruling method of every country. A leader cannot only be found in politics or in government because in anywhere you have people that look up to you or depend on you is also a leading role you are performing but if some persons found there careers in politics and got a leadership positions then is were destiny took them.

The thing is that, this saying doesn't really imply to the elected leaders alone as you make it seem, check the President, the people that work within his office are young people, the civil servants in parastatal are filled with young people because the elderly ones are gradually retiring, so outside some political offices, this saying is working to a large extent. Check within your neighborhood you will see people that have worked within the years that have left the scene, for younger people, even in the military, you definitely see it. So the saying is right.

What difference would it make to have a young president? The nature behind the human being will be the same of the old man. The thirsty for power and influence are the same. Meanwhile, common folk waste time endorsing one politician or another, based on false expectations that next time it's going to be different.

It's not going to be different, because the system is still going to be the same and the motivations which move each man who is able to climb up on the stairs of political scenario are the same as well. What you can do is to prevent being foolished by politicians. Don't give them your time, don't give them your energy. Focus on what is essential for your life, which is something they really don't care about.

Power is sweet, and the old people love to be in power, but one thing I know about the young people these days is that they are not willing to fight for power and take it from the old leaders.

The young people are not even interested in leadership; they just live as if they are less concerned about what is going on in society. If the young people want to take leadership for themselves, I think they will succeed because whatever is the right thing in society, if you fight hard to get it, you will definitely succeed.

We need leaders that understands the old living and the modern kind of living. They need to be in both paths so that they understand the people's sentiment from both generations and what are they crying for. The problem with the leaders we have is that they have specific agendas that they're tryin to push whether they're a youth type or the old type. It should be focused in most things that people need for their welfare and not only to some specifics that they like to be remembered in general during their regime.

Funny of you to say we need digital presidency in the digital generation, are you preferring we get governed by the AI? I guess that won't still profer us perfect governance the AI would still have to be program by humans with selfish interests. So the goods would still be in the favour of their wills.

Mind you that even if power is giving to these youths as the leaders, be it sure that youths may also be too quick to be uncontrollable of their temperaments and due to certain involvements in various of their activities, most of them are already engaged in unnecessary battles with the believes that they still have a long way to go in life maybe some where in the future after they have enjoyed life they will have a rethink to keep their heads down to begin think of being responsible like there is no more time to waste over things that does not necessarily matter.

I think so youths actually have that good vision of leadership but don't realize it until they begin to grow old or older. Probably there is also where the youths of today's becomes the leaders of tomorrow.
Leadership is also not just about the ability focused in the economy system because that is where youths may probably be better than those folks but also requires wisdom to Institute tolerance strategies for equality to carry everyone along. Perhaps a vibrant youth may be biased too over hyperactivity disorder.

Being young is different when it comes to politics because people can't even imagine a 20 year kid ruling them so even 40 years old is considered in politics and age doesn't really matters, it just shows that who epople trust to rule them instead of picking the right candidate and even if we say democracy the influence over the people matters the most and to avoid this is the reason some countries limit how many times a person can run for the president.

Leadership doesn't center at the presidency, youths lead in millions of organisation accross the world, think of when Zuckerberg and other tech silicon valley entrepreneurs, built on and monopolized the dot com era, they became leaders. You could become a leader anytime soon when you work at creating something that promotes leadership. Young people who are between the age of 20 years to 40 years are still considered as youths but there is no legal binding of who has to be voted in political parties regarding the age of the person that's why you see in Africa most leaders in political offices are all advanced men. Choosing political leaders should not be based on age if the person has good plans and can give effective representation then there's no need stopping them but people should try to carry young people along in politics because they understand what modern leadership is all about and they can help to work as people under democratic system of government.

When I was younger we where told that the youths are the leaders if tomorrow, until today the old people who have been in power are the same people still in power, how then will the Youth become leaders of tomorrow.

Same ideology was handed me at a very small age and up until now I've not found truth in it, leadership has not proven to give the young much chances to partake in it, it's all the elderly people refusing to relinquish power to the young since they are too greedy and cannot let go the benefits and social standard that comes with leadership positions.
Political science as a course is no longer considered by the young now in my county since graduates of this course ends up becoming thugs for political godfathers instead of being allowed the opportunity to participate in political leadership. I doubt the youths are still the leaders of tomorrow, since tomorrow is here and we're not still leaders yet, I wonder what is in stock for the little ones still being fed those beliefs.

Sometimes it is better to live life not just based on the definition some of our old leaders have made for us but to live our life's the way that works well based on our circumstances because most of those things are outdated and are not really necessary for our growth. even without any man's validation, you can lead in different capacity. it is not until you become a politically elected person that you can see yourself leading. from that small circle, there is a lot that you can do to bring about a change that last a lifetime and change your generation for good.

If in your little corner you are faithful enough to lead well, nature will bring you to lead in greater capacity in the long run because real leadership is earned and not fought to be attained.

Youth are the leaders of tomorrow has been a saying i have heard since i was a boy, but at this point i am beginning to believe that its just a scam, because i dont think tomorrow belongs to the youth anymore with the way our leaders are not ready to give way to the youth to take over leadership positions in the country.  In my country,  i think what they do is just to recycle power within themselves,  from Assembly members to senate, to Governor and finally retire as the president. This has been the ways its been going on for as long as i can remember and the youth has never been giving the opportunity to lead, so i will advice the touth to forget about that saying and take it by force if they are truly interested in changing things.

The youth play an important role in any struggle or achievement, but one characteristic that can be observed among them is that they never become desperate for power. When you observe the governance of a country, from the president to the lowest, you will see that the elderly are sitting in all those positions, where the youth do not claim themselves for power. The amount of patience that the youth need to run the country may not be among the young. But in old age, you will see that the patience is more and the enthusiasm that works inside you in youth is not enough to run the country. That is why the elderly are perfect for power.

Politics is really a dirty game and those who understands it, plays it better to excel from it. And those who don't understand the game, haven't build structure(made known) in the country or the state, there is no way they would make wings to fly.

Politics we have this days, how many young people do we have that holds a key position in the political party or in the state? I think we can count them by number. The little number of youths that holds key positions in the political parties or the country welfare is not what would thought of, winning a key position in the state or country. Because winning an election in a country involves a whole lot, not all youths can afford it and knows the game plan of winning an election. That's the reason why you see more of older men taking in charge of the horns of affairs in a country, more especially Africa countries

When they say leader, they mean the youths of today will be those at the helm of affairs tomorrow or those who will form the decision makers of tomorrow either as ministers, senators, members of the house of representatives, leaders of pressure groups, committees, community leaders, associations and heads of organizations are being referred as the leaders and not singling out of the president, he’s just overall leader and the C in C which is overseer of all. But what some also translate the leader of tomorrow to mean in their own context is the president but it can’t be the president because the president is just one person among hundreds and thousands of others.
