I would have love this much if it's based majorly or directly on Bitcoin, then titled "Thank God for the existence of Bitcoin". I'm more specific here because Bitcoin has done great among the world. Alot of people has lose to altcoin. I could remember when I started investing in cryptocurrency, I started with altcoin and I lose almost all fund. Although some jobs opportunities are produced with the existence of altcoin but nevertheless it's opportunities and financial importance can never be compare with that of Bitcoin. So to me I will say "Thank God for the existence of Bitcoin".

Surely the existence of Bitcoin has helped many become rich expecialy for the early adopters who bought and held for some years but of course that doesn't mean it was gotten in a platter of gold, it was as a result of being patient. Because you sound as if Bitcoin is a get rich quick scheme that made Nigerian youth rich. Or if it wasn't for Bitcoin intervention maybe we would have been financially imprisoned. The invention of cryptocurrency has really liberated many Nigerian investors from financial instability, More especially the youths, and has helped in elevating poverty among many Nigerians in a way, particularly cryptocurrency like Bitcoin that is capable of giving long term investment value. However, before the invention of cryptocurrency, asset like stock have been in existence and investors have also been making good money too if only you invest in a good stock, and invest for long term purpose too. But despite that stock have been around many years before the creation of bitcoin by Satoshi Nakamoto, Bitcoin has outperformed even the best stock in the stock market, delivering astonishing profit from time to time and as for me, Bitcoin remains the most rewarding investment among all digital assets despite it's volatility and price fluctuation.

We never knew that by this time fiat would be so bad like this. Many years ago, fiat could be recognized as currency because at least the depreciation of value was not as bad as it is now. But right now, fiat is not a currency that you can rely on because its value is depreciating every day, and we thank God for digital currencies like Bitcoin that have really helped many people, especially the average individuals who are not earning big.

You made some important and interesting point, however we can’t only blame it on cryptocurrency earnings alone even social media earnings has made people to forget about the growth of the nation, no body cares anymore about the countries growth and some of those that are claiming to fight for the good of Nigeria now are using it to create content on social media so they can get engagement earn money.
Believe me if we are only surviving by what comes out from the government or the land of Nigeria we all would have joined hands together to make the country more better, but since people can now easily make money through cryptocurrency and social media no body cares about the situation of the country.
If we continue like this in the future even all this we are using to make money will be taken away from us by the government and by then it may be too late to fight for a better country.

You got it there, particularly on the ending part of your post regards to bitcoin investment in hodling for increase cash out. And if I could add the fact that it is a hedge towards naira crashing and inflation. Meaning, you can leave your money in bitcoin and you use it to buy more value than if you left your money in Nigeria.

But to op's post, I guess he is talking about signature campaign and yes it has helped those who are fortunate to be here but what about the large majority of youths that are not in this forum. I hope we know that more youth don't know about this forum compared to the few that know about it.

Many of us can’t deny the fact that we are not grateful for cryptocurrency existence and we are all happy for the day we accepted to be off of this financial revolution through Bitcoin investment. Again, one thing that is certain is that if there was no bitcoin, there would be another technology that they youths would have also discovered and be making money from. We actually focus more on what is realistic than what is not, that’s why we tend to see what we have now as the best. In the future, when there is a better technology than bitcoin, I know people will also switch to that. Everyone values something more where they can work and get paid easily without any tussle. When you say forefathers in this context. What timeframe are you looking at, 60-90 years ago perhaps? Do you mean pre-colonial era? I don’t agree that bitcoin made the youths complacent, nothing would have changed politically if bitcoin didn’t exist.

cryptocurrency has become a game changer in Nigeria and has led to the progress of a lot of people and also in a third world country like Nigeria where the government doesn't provide opportunities for young people cryptocurrency has given them the means to be independent.
