And last I checked, the USA hasn't done too bad in the last 40 years either: we've vastly improved standards of living, medial science, access to entertainment, and so on.

Yeah, if you measure "progress" in collapsing real wages, exploding debt, and bread-and-circuses dopamine hits while the dollar loses 85% of its purchasing power.

Standards of living? You have an avocado toast and a Netflix subscription.

Medical science? Congrats, you get 17 new chronic diseases invented by Big Pharma while life expectancy for working-age Americans flatlines and the middle class gets euthanized by medical bankruptcy.

Access to entertainment? Perfect. Keep doomscrolling cat videos, Marvel slop and INFINITE PORN while your currency dies, your borders dissolve, your cities turn into open-air fentanyl markets; all that while your "leaders" lecture you about monetary policy when they're $38 trillion in debt.

FACT CHECK: EVERY SINGLE METRIC BEING BRAGGED IS NOMINAL FIAT ILLUSION.

Real median income adjusted for honest inflation? Free-falling since the 1970s. Home ownership for young people? Crushed. Savings rate? Negative. Fertility rate? Collapsing.

You didn't get richer. The rulers just printed more confetti and told you to clap because the screen said your 401k number went up.

This is not progress. This is the slow-motion demolition of a civilization by the fiat lords.

The sheep will say "but muh iPhone" with a serious face while their bloodline gets diluted into serfdom.

The freaks who saw through the scam? Already stacking the only asset that cannot be debased or stopped.

Bitcoin doesn't care about your 40-year fiat cope.

It just wins.

The bloodlines that stack survive.

Darwinism in real time.

In a time like this, in an era where the rich keeps getting richer and the poor pray to some god, and are being fed with slops, viruses, narcotics and all manner of addictive practices like you mentioned, with a government that'd rather indulge in avoidable wars than eradicate poverty and disease from its people (or at least cure them instead of preserving and maintaining their diseases so their medications can stay in sale), with an escalating cost for survival per human, of course the taxes are still running and the irs purses bursting from theft, if anyone still roams this earth without owning, to the very least, a single unit of BTC, I fear for their generation to come.

[This came at the right time, with the pending Continental war ahead, but we're not ready for this conversation]

Unrelated: Hatman, sometimes I wonder how deep you get to go in your thoughts that these manipulative agenda stays at an observable distance within your view, without getting distracted by trends; Say SpaceX and Elon, Neuralinks , celebrities and their funky lifestyle, whatever fixes the dopamine temporarily. It's a good way to keep us all posted!

 Hello, I'm new to Bitcoin.

So after reading your post, I'm curious to know how the inevitable demise of Fiat currency and rise of Bitcoin will lead to betterment of social issues that you have pointed out?

I've always suspected that war and pandemics would herald a new era. Have you noticed that wars are becoming more frequent? I'm pretty sure the blockchain era is coming soon, along with AI and robotics. Maybe we should watch "Astroboy" to prepare ourselves for that era. Fiat? No one will know about that system in the future.

What's worse is that there are people who already heard about bitcoin before, but they didn't bother to learn more about it. I really wish I could have known about it sooner, but I still consider myself lucky to have found bitcoin. Now I try my best to educate myself in order to protect my finances.

americans are very self involved that they think they are so much better than the rest of the world and they fail to recognize the living conditions in their country. they have a lot of issues one example is the abundance of shooting incidents. you don’t see that in other countries and yet they think other countries are less safe

At least the so called "inflation tax" could be solved by a Bitcoin global currency.

This makes reference to the Cantillon effect. When prices increase and the central banks print money (between money printing and inflation there's a close correlation), those most benefitted are those who are close to the source of printing. Printing occurs by loans, so the companies taking most loans and their management and stock holders are the most benefitted - normally that's the richest part of the country's population. On the other hand, the poorest sector and lower middle class are those most suffering inflation.

That's one of the sources of unequality. I don't know how many % of GDP it makes up, but the effect is that each year, a certain percentage is taken from the poor sectors "automatically" and distributed to the rich sectors.

A society with low inflation (like a Bitcoin standard society) would thus not continuously benefit the rich disproportionately, creating inequality - instead they would tend to benefit all sectors equally.

There could be other positive effects, like a healthier consumer goods sector and more conscience of the general public about money, see this thread.

That's the term you call someone who is smarter than you and has refused to be bought over by your cheap assurances of a world where the dollar would remain sovereign. People are easily bought over by cheap promises and it's easier to sell the fake dream when you've got a blind sheep that follows with sick loyalty, continuously having their hopes dashed but still not ready to see the reality that the more you work, the less likely you are to enjoy it since it all would be spent on drugs that instead of get you healed, it gets you hooked and further deteriorates your lifespan.
Bitcoin was created for freedom but it's funny how people prefer to live in a prison of their own making, wishing that the fiat would be much better. I feel that's the worst form of delusion anyone can have.

The problems we face are increasingly complex with numerous issues emerging daily and it's increasingly difficult for people to escape economic pressure. Instead of providing access to a better life by providing equitable employment opportunities, the government only provides cash assistance to certain categories of people, but they never train them in skills as human resources, so that people don't rely on this assistance for their long-term livelihoods.

This is happening in my country because I see the government only having direct aid schemes but no vision for developing more creative individuals with individual skills for their lives. That's why I always say that there's no way to escape a bad economic situation if people themselves aren't trained in skills because currently, society is so dependent on demand assistance.

Bitcoin isn't gonna fix poverty, wars, or shitty politicians overnight. That's not the point.

The real argument is pretty simple, regular money (fiat) can be printed forever. Governments and central banks just make more when they feel like it -> prices go up slowly -> your savings and paycheck buy less year after year. It's like a hidden tax that hits regular people hardest.

Bitcoin has a hard cap, only 21 million will ever exist. No one can just print more. So if governments want to spend big, they actually have to tax people openly or borrow real money instead of quietly stealing value through inflation.

It's not magic. It won't make everyone nice or solve inequality by itself. But having money that can't be endlessly diluted at least gives us a fairer starting line. Less sneaky wealth transfer from savers to spenders/printing-press owners.

That's basically it.

...and this new illegitimate war being waged is only going to benefit less than 1% - the new FIAT lords.
we  buy and subscribe to their crap so they can then go on their self fulfilling quest to kill, control and
steal another countries resources so they can sell us more crap to finance their next wave.

The FIAT illusion is only based now on numbers, fantasy numbers because they can just keep printing
more as they see fit, they dont see a ceiling, $1trillion, $50trillion, $100trillion... the only escape is BTC
