I think the main idea is that you don`t care about your deposit. The sum doesn`t matter if you don`t think that you need to get your money back.

Honestly, I often gamble using the Martingale strategy, which means I try to increase my bets after a few losses, aiming to quickly recoup my losses. It is better to gamble with small bets to control your emotions while gambling,I believe this. For me gambling is enjoyable not when we bet large or small amounts but when we gamble and are prepared for all possibilities including defeat and we are prepared to lose the money we bet because our focus is only on enjoying the game not on the amount of money we use in gambling.

That is a typical strategy to play in the long run but just having fun does not justify spending hours gambling with minimum bet and receiving nothing, not a single emotion during such time. I am a guy who regularly do this myself, I play with IDR as currency and play at minimum bet of 400 to 1000 IDR most of the time and by depositing 100 dollars I can play a lot since that is well over 1.6 million IDR yet rarely I have seen a good emotion and by good emotion I mean to hit like one minimum of x3000 or more multiplier during my time playing the slots. Typically for me, I prefer to bet small for longer, but with a gambling limit. Sometimes when it's for fun, I go big and hope to be lucky, but that makes me take a bit hiatus to restrategize how I should in subsequent occasions, place gamble bets.
